Threshing Barn Reviews

An Amazingly beautiful place to stay
How can I start? Threshing barn is just a beautiful place, from when we turned into the carpark to when we walked in to the property, it truly was breath taking. Very spacious and the view from our room with the Juliet balcony is lovely. The hot tub was well used as was the bbq and the enclosed playing field for our children. There is a dedicated pet area for your dogs to go to the loo and have a little run. Sharon and her husband were very friendly and always available if needed, Sharon keeps the hot tub in tip top condition by testing the water daily. We are definitely booking to come back

This property is beautiful. Everything you may possibly need has been thought of. Sharon the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will be recommending this property to friends and family and would definitely consider returning to stay here again.
Threshing Barn was an ideal accommodation for our girls' long weekend away. Well maintained, ideal layout and beautifully decorated and designed. Very clean. The owners had thought of everything. We made use of the hob tub even though it was January as it was the perfect temperature. Thank you Sharon and Neil. We will be returning.
Nicola
Fabulous little barn conversion. Could be a bit remote for some, but local amenities not far in the car. Great for visiting Dorsets many attractions. The hot tub was a great bonus. Hosts were really friendly
Christine
We had a lovely relaxing time views were amazing we especially enjoyed watching ... We had a lovely relaxing time views were amazing we especially enjoyed watching the pheasants running through the grass
One of three new cottages around an old yard that once contained a mill in Sparrowbush Farm, two of which have been available for rent for about one year. The Threshing Barn is beautifully and tastefully appointed, very modern, and with everything required for a self catering holiday, with all modern cooking and cleaning conveniences. Though the telephone signal is poor, due to the farms location nesting between rolling hills, WiFi is fine. The bonus is a very modern Hot Tub that is diligently maintained. Daily contact, if required, with a lady, Ellie was available. she was very friendly and helpful
The friendly relaxed welcome set us up to relax and enjoy our week . The finish of the kitchen is fabulous and the layout was ideal for the dog . The bi folds offer that inside outside feel which is perfect. Its light and airy even when the weather is grey . You need to go short drives to amenities , beaches , walks this is the only consideration when booking. The hot tub and barbecue area and the whole barn was enjoyed by the whole family. A great family holiday
A beautiful house with the added luxury of a hottub. The owner was very nice and available when we had queries. Thank you!
Sandra
Such an amazing place, clean, modern, spacious and had everything you could need. Very comfortable rooms. Stunning from bedroom balcony listening to birdsong and owls, very relaxing. Hot tub was a hit with all of us, great relaxing in the garden after days out, plenty of seating inside and out. So peaceful. Sharon on hand should we need anything but not intrusive. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend and would love to return.
Sharon and family were very friendly and accommodating, she checked everything was ok at every opportunity she had, we are definitely going back!
Michelle
Just arrived home from a lovely week with the family at The Threshing Barn. Gorgeous, well equipped property within easy driving distance to lots of lovely sightseeing days out. Comfortable beds and the hot tub was amazing.
Had a lovely week. Thank you!
Denise
An absolutely amazing stay at Threshing Barn, everything you needed was available and more. Beds and sofas all so comfortable and it was nice to have an extra sitting room so the boys could watch Footie. Hot tub perfect and a lovely field for dog to play in. Great location for supermarket and even arranged a delivery so no need to do shopping on arrival. Perfect to explore all the beautiful Dorset coast. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Sharon and husband
On arrival we were welcomed & allowed into the property straight away, even though we were a bit early. Lovely welcome pack & even had milk brought for us. The property was so emaculate & smelt amazing. Very comfortable & spacious. Everything we needed & the couple could not do enough for you. The hot tub was fab. Used most afternoons when dry. Thank you for an amazing stay. Would definitely return & recommend to friends & family.
Beautiful accommodation, very well equipped and welcoming atmosphere. Helpful owners on hand if any problems, hot tub enjoyed by humans and countryside enjoyed by dog! Very warm house so it was cosy for a winter holiday, and Christmas decorations were discreet but lovely.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The House is like new with all modern facilities and the Hot Tub was excellent, the house was presented in a very clean state and the location and views were lovely. We particularly liked the open plan living space. The welcome pack from the Host was also a lovely thought. We would definitely stay again as this is a great location for exploring everything that Dorset has to offer. Very well thought out as well with a separate place for the Dog outside and everything fenced gated.
This recently completed barn conversion is comfortable and well equipped. A good location for visiting places of interest including Poole, Dorchester and Swanage and had a great Sunday lunch at the local pub. Plenty to do or good place to relax. Recommend Swanage Railway, Dorset Heavy Horse Centre and Durlston Country Park to name a few.
The property was as described and was very comfortable. It was well equipped for cooking in which we did quite a lot in our week. It is very quiet which we loved all you could hear in the morning were the pheasants. The hot tub was very nice as well. We had a great stay and would come back.
The Threshing barn is a fabulous place to spend your holiday. Spacious, comfortable and stylish whats not to like. We had a fantastic week, Sharon and Neil made us and our puppy very welcome. Topped off with an evening dip in the hot tub under the stars loved every minute.
Property was amazing, best we've ever stayed in. We spent so much time at the cottage, the surrounding fields and facilities provided even for our dog just made us want to stay and make the most of it. We were very sad to leave.
We had a wonderful stay at the Threshing Barn. The property is spacious, well equip and beautifully furnished. The bbq and outdoor space were a real hit and we were warmly welcomed by the owners. We would definitely recommend this as a lovely place to stay to explore Dorset.
Hannah
Amazing stay. Very clean and modern. Kitchen well equity. The hot tub is huge, definitely more than big enough for the amount of people that can stay at the barn. Great hosts! Already recommended the barn to family and friends!
A beautiful well equipped cottage , made to feel very welcome, very well situated to visit local beauty spots . So well furnished, feels like a home from home , we will definitely be booking again .
