The Lodge was comfortable, equipment was excellent. It is well placed for nature reserves. The neighbours (baa aa) were quietly munching in the next field . They too were hiding from the heat of the sun.
Terry
Lodge was excellent, well equipped andvery comfortable.
Tina
We have just spent an amazing half term at Shepherds Lodge, the weather was fantastic, the lodge was comfortable and big enough for everyone (4 adults + 1 child) to feel they had their own space. Apart from 2 days when we went out to explore Somerset we spent our week chilling out in the lodge or in the hot tub. The sunset every evening, with the s un setting down behind the glorious countryside from the deck or through the patio doors was beautiful. Definitely recommend!
Gill

Yet again another amazing stay at shepards Lodge, spotlessly clean everything you need for a comfortable stay, amazing views, peaceful setting, so much to do in surrounding area all just a short drive away, Dan the owner very helpful and friendly, looking forward to our return visit next year.
Maureen
A peaceful, warm and comfortable lodge. Everything had been thought of to make for a very relaxed holiday. The view across the valley was gorgeous - especially at this time of year with the autumnal colours - and we enjoyed many hours sitting on the decking watching the birds and of course the sheep. Will definitely be booking again.
Elaine
Immaculate lodge which was spotlessly clean and well decorated with the addition of an excellent hot tub and good parking. It is in a beautiful rural setting with easy access to countryside and surrounding towns and a good village pub.
Barbara
A lovely property in an excellent location. Beautiful views from the garden. Softer pillows and mattress would have been preferred. Mobile phones may not work in the lodge. In spite of the few niggles mentioned, would certainly recommend the property as it was extremely clean and well maintained.
Jill
We all loved it. Fantastic sunsets and a lovely peaceful spot. The sheep make great neighbours! A beautifully clean and well equipped lodge. Access to the main road is easy for days out. The village pub is good for food or just a drink.
Jo
An exceptionally private, comfortable, well equipped and decorated lodge with plenty of outdoor space and a hot tub!
Chris
Great cottage .so peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub is private .The bench at the side of cottage is a nice thought for watching the evening sun. All worked perfect inside the cottage with plenty of room. Easy location to get to with a local pub offering very good priced food which can be a take out as well. And of course the sheep! Only two this w eek. Thanks Dan it was nice to meet you
Jacqueline
We really enjoyed our stay as this is a nice lodge in a very good location and the welcome basket was very much appreciated . The kitchen was well appointed but if you intend to cook meals it is slightly lacking. The secure site was ideal for the young children we had to run around freely with enough parking for a couple of cars.
Simon
Great place to stay and was very clean dan the owner was very helpful and friendly
Louise
A beautiful lodge in a perfect location for exploring Somerset. We would definitely return.
Andrew

Shepherd's Lodge is beautifully situated with plenty of parking for at least 3 cars. The lodge is well thought out, well equipped, spotlessly clean and warm and bright. There are lovely views from most windows, the local pub is well worth a visit or two and you are less than 5 miles from Street and Clark's Village and only about 10 miles to Burnham on Sea.
Rachael
Wow amazing lodge with beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean and everything you could wish for, enjoyed watching the sunsets from the hot tub, great owner, nothing too much trouble, there if you need him, loads to do in surrounding area, street, Glastonbury, wokey hole and plenty more, loved it so back again in October.
Peter
Lovely, comfortable and very clean. Wish it was mine!!!!!
Michael
Lovely lodge with beautiful views. One of the best we've stayed in. Comfortable, clean and well equipped. Good location for visiting National Trust properties, the city of Wells and many other places including the coast. Lovely decked area for sitting out if you visit in the summer.
David
The Lodge is very well presented and equipped. It was cool and windy for part of the week, but we never felt cold as the heating system responds well and the radiators had no need to be other than warm. We had a very enjoyable week exploring the Somerset Levels for a change.
