Fantastic. Superb location, the lodge is set with in the estate lands of Cricket St. Thomas so lots of traffic free walking and cycling The lodge it's self was handsome, cosy and well maintained. The staff were welcoming and always on hand to sort any issues out there were no issues! 1010 would recommend, would go back.

We had a wonderful stay at 12 Swandown, when shown to our Lodge my partner exclaimed is all this ours! . Our lodge was really well equipped and beautifully clean. Sitting in the hottub in the evenings was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. During our stay the fridge freezer developed a fault, we informed the manager. The very next day a new fridge freezer was fitted, no hassle or fuss. When something goes wrong you find out how good your host is. Our host has been excellent. I fully recommend 12 Swandown and the team behind them. Wonderful countryside and well placed to see the surrounding area.

We stayed at a 3 bedroomed property in spring suitable for the family we were with for a long weekend and were impressed with Swandown. Based on that stay we booked No 12 for a week for the two of us. It didnt disappoint. We loved the airiness provided by the double height windows in the sitting area making the most of the lovely view. The lodge has a spacious feel enhanced by the vaulted ceiling in the living area. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were good and all very clean. In general the accommodation is well equipped. We felt we could easily live in this property full time and be content. Swansdown is in beautiful, quiet surroundings. The managers on site are super friendly and helpful. We would most definitely recommend this as a holiday destination.
Ideal accommodation for my elderly Mum who has mobility issues. Staff at the site were extremely helpful and polite, going above and beyond to help out as needed. Ideal location with plentiful National Trust properties and other venues within half an hour travel.
I was astonished to find blood on the sheet and duvet dirty plates in the cupboard and dirty knives in the draw it was dealt with strait away but it should have been checked before we arrived and would have given a better score so feel disappointed also there needs to be more than one tea towel .
Very Spacious ,clean ,comfortable chalet , outside space very tidy and well maintained. Hot tub was checked every day . Pool is open didnt get to use it as we were able to use the Warner hotel spa facilities as well . Good area to be based to travel around the surrounding areas
What a gem! ! Used Sykes many times before, but this is the best lodge we have rented. If you want peace and quiet, wildlife, outstanding lodge quality, this is for you. Hot tub was checked twice a day. A big mention must go to the two maintenance lads Stewart and Leroy, their knowledge of the area and friendliness was a big plus. Only down side wound be the onsite swimming pool is out of action for the foreseeable future, but your given free access to the local hotel facilities. Loved it
Very peaceful and charming place to stay. Everything we needed was there for our stay. Have already recommended you to family and friends. Will definitely be coming back next year. Thank you!
We had the most amazing time, the lodge was everything & more than we hoped. Getting the pool to ourselves was fantastic, everything is spotless. Leroy was wonderful also such a friendly welcome. It was the perfect post Christmas break! Already looking to book this year for summer holiday and Christmas
