Fron Haul - Gwennol Reviews

Absolutely wonderful stay. The property was faultlessly clean and the attention to detail by the owners made it so enjoyable. It is set in beautiful surroundings which makes it so relaxing. Will definitely be returning. Would recommend this property to anyone. Also the owners will go out of their way to help in any way possible.
Fron Haul is a lovely place to stay. We had a lovely friendly welcome from Vicky the owner who was helpful and only too happy to help with anything. A modern, open plan property with furnishing to match. Spotlessly clean. A very good and tasty welcome pack and the prosecco cooling by the hot tub was a lovely surprise. 3 good sized bedrooms with one downstairs which for a member of our party made things a little easier. The upstairs balcony with bbq, hot tub, large table and chairs, and heating is a joy to sit and socialise, watch TV. The kitchen is well equipped. Comfortable sofas to sit and relax with bifold doors giving views to the lovely countryside surrounding the property. A rear patio with table and chairs was lovely to sit and have lunch. We had a great stay and a unusual surprise was being able to collect our own eggs from the hens opposite the house. A lovely touch and they were delicious! Fron Hau is a great base for visiting other areas. We did walk into the local town Ruthin about 40 minutes on a narrow, busy road. Not recommended if there are young children in the party. There is parking in town and a few supermarkets there to stock up! To sum up, we had a smashing time in a lovely property. Was very quiet and peaceful and our batteries were fully recharged. I would happily recommend a stay here and would definitely return.
The property and owners were absolutely amazing, collecting our own eggs from their chickens, great views from the hot tub, clean house with generous welcome pack. Could not fault them, but Sykes system is not good, misrepresenting what we paid for and length of stay, then reminding us of the rules for leaving early in the morning the day before we left so felt we were ending our holiday early!!
A group of 12 adults shared both Robin Goch and From Haul recently, three couples in each and what a fabulous time we had. From the Setting, the decor, the cleanliness, the amenities, everything was at the property that we needed. We received a very warm welcome from Vicky who couldn't do enough to make our stay more perfect. She was on hand for everything we needed. The Welcome Pack, the Prosecco and the Jar of sweets were an extra special touch. We loved collecting fresh eggs from the Chickens and enjoyed the relaxing fish pond too. We would very highly recommend a stay at these beautiful Lodges and look forward to planning another holiday at From Haul.

Absolutely fantastic place! Beautiful location, wonderful hosts, the house has everything you need. The outside space with Hot tub was amazing, bedrooms were great with really comfy beds and bedding. Kitchen fully stocked with all you would need. The welcome hamper and sweet jar was a really thoughtful gesture! The outside space with the chickens was brilliant, fresh eggs daily and our son absolutely adored helping Vicky with the daily maintenance! Thank you Vicky!! Again, the hosts were just so lovely, we will most certainly be returning after years of self catering holidays we have found our holiday retreat!! All have come home sad to leave but fully refreshed after a week at Fron Haul!
Hands down Best Holiday home in the area. Beautifully prepared, Clean and well thought out. Quiet, private grounds. Vicky is probably the Best host you could wish for. Helpful and patient especially with the kids. Covered Hot Tub and Outdoor kitchen just makes holidays More fun. The Hens and their fresh eggs are a treat in the morning!! Kids LOVED!! Highly recommend. Hope to return!
