Ty Buddug Reviews

Lovely well maintained cottage. Owners friendly and approachable. Cottage is very spacious and very well equipped. Lovely local area.
We had a wonderful holiday. Was first class, we all loved the hot tub after a busy day of sightseeing .our Jules loves giving treats to Garfield and Patches and her daughter patches 2..greated us each morning and after we had been out. Chirk Castle and Errdig House both NT, Snowdon , climmed to the top by train after stopping at summit, misty day, but great all the same. Portmeirion was a lovely look around Ffestiniog railway was great Recommend walking along Aqueduct as recommended by Medwyn owner of Ty Buddug ConwynZoo was a great place to see all animals, as was the Aquarium in Angelsey All in all a fantastic time
A wonderful holiday cottage. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a huge kitchen with everything you could imagine, and a beautiful location. The hot tub was brilliant and we adopted Garfield the Cat for the week. Highly recommended as a great base for a holiday exploring North Wales.
The Cottage has everything that is needed. It was perfect for our family stay. The owner was friendly and we loved being on a farm. We were able to travel out to the most beautiful parts of North Wales from there. Also plenty of walking to be had as Offas Dyke is right by the cottage. The hot tub was a bonus. We would highly recommend this wonderful cottage.

The best holiday home in which we have ever stayed. Thank you ever so much Medwyn, Jenny and William!

Absolutely beautiful property with everything you could want and more! The hosts were very thoughtful and even left a welcome gift for each of us. There is a lot to explore in the surrounding area to keep the whole family entertained, before returning to a peaceful soak in the hot tub where you can enjoy the picturesque views.
Joanne
Can't fault it one bit everything about the place, owners and area were spot on thanks
Suzanne
This cottage is more than a 5 star, the owner takes alot of care to provide a clean, welcoming home from home with everything you could want provided. We were a party of 6 adults one of whom has mobility problems but she was very comfortable here. The hot tub was lovely and we made good use if it in the day and evening. As cat lovers we loved having Garfield and 2 others sharing our week with us, and the cows looking over the fence was lovely. We will be returning and would highly recommend this beautiful cottage.
Jenny and Med were very welcoming on arrival and helpful, magnificent property AAAA, absolutely fantastic place to stay and relax and recharge. Will definitely be going back.
Excellent accommodation and really friendly people will 100 look at returning at some point
Absolutely stunning property, well equipped down to the fine details, hot tub and garden are fabulous especially when the weather is in favour, I have a disabled child that uses a wheelchair and was brilliant for accessibility, no issues and would recommend, ideal for families or couples.

A fantastic holiday. The accommodation is beautiful and comfortable. Everything you needed was there. The hot tub was perfect after a day of walking and activity. The hosts were friendly and lovely to chat with. The dogs and cats were an added bonus and loved by us all. We especially loved Garfield
Ty Buddug is our favourite holiday let. We have been renting cottages for over thirty years. We really appreciate the welcome and the time and effort made by the owners to make us feel welcome. The house is spacious, warm and extremely well equipped. Thank you for letting us stay. We will be back. It was great to be allowed to explore the farm. Diolch fawr.

This was an exceptional property which provided everything you could ever think of. A real get away from it all
Beautiful and peaceful location. Good for visiting attractions. Comfortable, well appointed cottage with friendly hosts, dogs, cats and cows! Welcome pack was gratefully received.
What a great place this is to stay if you want to have a relaxing holiday but are not too far from plenty of things to do if you wish. We were very lucky with the weather so it was great to sit outside and let your nature soothe our souls after all the problems over the last few months with Covid. The owners are really nice but do not impose themselves but are there if needed. Please note that this is a working farm so there are cattle and sheep around which we loved to see. Cottage has everything and more for a great self catering holiday. One of the best that we have stayed in.
Graham
Great location, quiet with access to walks and much more on the doorstep. Great to come home to a hot tub after a long day
It was an amazing place and cant wait to return again.
Eleanor
This cottage provided a very relaxing setting for our holiday. It was situated in beautiful countryside with cows right behind our garden, and nice walks from the cottage itself. It was very clean and comfortable. The owners of the cottage who lived next door were really lovely and very accommodating, for example one morning he came to our door with fresh eggs from his hens for our breakfast!
Beautiful rural location superb property
Deborah
Had a lovely holiday at Ty Buddag very comfortable and perfect location for exploring north wales within the current covid rules. Really enjoyed the hot tub, fabulous way to end the day.
Exceptionally well equipped cottage, well designed and comfortable. Nice remote location. Kind hosts
Joanne
Absolutely outstanding cottage. Lovely quiet location, friendly hosts. Spacious & spotless with everything covered.
Excellent cottage and so well equipped Cant think of anything they hadnt supplied
Patricia
The cottage was spotlessly clean the cleanest I've stayed at and I've stayed at a lot it had everything you could possibly want utility wise. All the furnishings were top quality and little extras like tissues, hand wash, cleaning equipment were all included, which were very welcome because we stayed as covid19 hit. The hosts were lovely and not intrusive but were there if you needed them. The hot tub was brilliant and looked after daily. I'm reluctant to tell everyone how good it is because I want it to be available when we want to go again but credit where it's due this place was spot on and I would highly recommend.
Frances
Ty Buddug was a wonderful place to stay warm, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and clean. No expense has been spared in converting this to a very high spec. The woodburning stove was easy to use and very warm and cosy and logs and kindling were supplied by the owner. We didn't venture into the hot tub but then it was February!! It's easy to reach from Llangollen over the Horseshoe Pass and not too far from Chester or even Snowdonia. I would certainly love to return and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
A beautiful cottage in every way. A warm welcome, absolutely everything we could need inside and a hot tub! Thank you so much for a wonderfully relaxing week. We will be back! Xx
Kathleen
This is a wonderful, well equipped, and very clean accommodation in an absolutely beautiful area of North Wales. The owners Medwyn and his family really make you feel very welcome, and are happy to offer any helpful advice. With an added bonus of a delightful hot tub, makes this a truly 5 experience. Thoroughly recommended.
The only downside was the sudden noise of loud barking from a big dog which was kept behind bars in quite a small compound overlooking the courtyard.
Cheryl
Ty Buddug is the most beautiful property in a beautiful area of Wales. It was a joy to call it our home for the week we had booked. The owners have thought of everything which made our stay all the more special. After a days walking we made use of the beautiful hot tub which is maintained to a very high level. Thank you, we would happily return.
Ty Buddug is an exceptional place to stay 5
Very friendly owners, not intrusive but there if you needed them. Everything you could possibly need is in this lovely barn conversion... the hot tub was fab, thanks Medwyn for showing us how to work it.. Sure we will be back for another visit
Gerard
