Ty Coch Reviews

Natalie
Great cottage and lovely stay.
Andrew
The cottage renovation is really well done and the furnishings are stylish. Hot tub great. The cottage is very well placed to discover all North Wales has to offer, Ruthin is a fabulous place with great amenities, places to eat etc. Also close enough to walk into town. My only issue was the cleanliness it could have been better, I am very fussy though, so may not be an issue unless you are particularly obsessed with dirt like me cupboards had crumbs in them, and I had to disinfect the kitchen cupboard door handles. A bit dusty and cobwebby in places. I did try to hoover but the hoover was full and the hose extension was missing. This was a minor issue and is easily rectified. Other than that little niggle, it was good.
Sharon
Fantastic cottage, modernised to a very high standard, hot tub a great bonus. Location ideal for all trips and amenities. Wales was beautiful.
Angela
The cottage is very stylish and comfortable and has everything you could need with the added bonus of the hottub, perfect to relax in after a busy day sightseeing! The cottage is perfectly situated for exploring North Wales, the Snowdonia National Park and Chester Zoo. Leah is a lovely host and close at hand if you need her. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch! Would definitely recommend a stay here!
Beautiful cottage in a lovely part of North Wales.
Amanda
This property is a wonderful place to stay. The house was perfect, it has everything you need. Our 1yr old boy loved the garden so much space for him to run around. The adults loved the hot tub and so did kids. We loved the hamper that we were greeted with when we arrived. It had bread, eggs and a lovely cake and leaflets of activities we could do.So much to do around the area. Leah the host popped over to say hello on our first night. Which was really lovely. We will definitely book again.
What an amazing cottage. As much as the pictures online are great, when you walk through the door you are taken a back a little bit as the place is stunning, so nicely decorated, with a great flow to it. The cottage was really comfortable and all the natural light in the surroundings was also really nice. The hot tub was also a great addition after exploring this lovely part of the country. Leah was a great host, and provided detailed information on things to do and places to eat. Thanks for having us, me and my family had such a nice time.

A stunning ,well kept , modern property in a great location ... A stunning ,well kept , modern property in a great location Very welcomed goodies left for us on arrival We had a visit from the owner on our first night to say hello which was lovely of her to pop by and make sure everything was ok for us We had a few visits to Ruthin and found the local shop keepers very friendly we would definitely recommend this property , and hopefully return at some point in the future many thanks Lesley x

Wow wow wow! What an amazing property, from the moment we stepped into the entrance hall the ambience of the cottage relaxes you completely. The cottage was the immaculate and so clean. The design and comfort of the furniture, beds etc were so comfortable. Leah the owner was so friendly and we saw her daily doing the maintenance of the hot tub.. The hot tub itself was a good one , plenty of power, spacious and with changeable colour lights. The situation of the cottage was on the outskirts of Ruthin which is a lovely historical town with lots of independent shops. The area of North Wales is so beautiful with so many things to do and areas to explore we can't wait to come back and would like to see the area in the summer months. This is one of the best cottages that we have ever stayed in. There was only 1 sml minor thing that I would suggest for an improvement and that is the addition of some large hot tub towels maybe in colours so they can be recognised instantly as hot tub towels only. We bought our own from a local supermarket. Also wanted to say thankyou for the lovely welcome hamper and the leaflets of attractions. Very helpful. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday. Melanie Tom and the boys
We had a fantastic stay. Spacious property, very well maintained. Lovely outside area with hot tub. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend it.
Ty Coch is an excellently presented property in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The fact that this was our second visit this year reflects our high regard for it, its owner and her hospitality.
This is a beautifully kept little cottage, much bigger than it appears from the outside. We found the kitchen to be well equipped and the addition of the washing machine sorry helpful after beach trips. Leah was welcoming and very helpful in suggesting things we might like to do. The cottage feels nicely remote whilst only being a few minutes drive from local villagers Ruthin. Further afield there is so much to do, we particularly loved walking the town walls in Denbigh free, just a 5 deposit for the keys from the castle or library, the milkshakes vending machine on the way to Denbigh, Rhyl beautiful beach, water park and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Even in a week we felt like we had so much we didn't get round to doing. I think anyone who stayed here would have a wonderful time!
Nadine
Stunning house in a lovely location and the hot tub is a real bonus! Would highly recommend.
Ty Coch was a stylish, comfortable and very relaxing property. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We shopped in a couple of independent shops in Ruthin and found the people friendly and very willing to share their local knowledge. We met the owner of the property who in turn was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.
We absolutely loved our stay at Ty Coch, you didn't have to worrie about time, without a care in the world you can just relax and enjoy the sun and hot tub, best part is that this property when it has sun its like a sun trapper you get sun all day, highly reccomend. The decor is really modern and very stylish in every room of the house we enjoyed every min. Leah is very nice too who popped by to check on us to see how we were getting on. We popped in to the Town of Ruthin very nice little old town highly reccomend visiting Chatwinns the Sausage rolls are to die for and they are even better than greggs. Two things I would reccomend would be maybe a poof or foot stool for putting your feet up watching TV and maybe a parasol for over the hottub would be great in case of bad weather. All in all it was a beautiful stay and very relaxing beds are super comfy highly reccomend.
Lovely cottage, beautiful decor. We really enjoyed our stay and have recommended it to other people and hope to return one day.
This is a beautiful property with stunning views. Booked for a friend's 40th, it was the perfect place for a girly weekend. The property owners are close by and we're so helpful, leaving restaurant recommendations and trying to assist us. We only came home this afternoon and already trying to look at dates to go back. Would not hesitate to recommend
Claire
This property is absolutely stunning. We were there only as a group of three ladies for a belated birthday weekend however even if there had been 6 of us the answer would have been the same fabulous & well be back!
Philip
A high specification finish and stylish design makes this a luxurious experience in a quiet location in a highly scenic valley. On sunny afternoons the garden and its hot tub are delightful. We had a really relaxing week and recharged our batteries. The only downside was the firmness of the master bed.
Charlotte
The house was stunning, we had the most amazing time and would recommend the house & location to anyone. Leah & family were very helpful and left us the nicest little welcome basket
Sharon
This cottage is a Gem of a find. Perfect in every way . The hot tub was amazing & all mod cons . Fabulous cant wait to stay again
The cottage was beautiful. ..Leah could not have been a better host. The welcome pack was delicious, the cottage was tastefully decorated with great facilities, perfect location for exploring and a wonderful holiday base.
The cottage was even lovelier than in the photos if thats possible! Very beautiful and homely made the holiday for us. Made full use of the hot tub and enjoyed the cottage immensely. Leah and family were really nice and made us feel very welcome. Ruthin is a lovely little place and enjoyed time there in the local Costa and restaurants. All in all a fabulous holiday and would definitely love to return, thank you to Leah and family!
The cottage was lovely. Possibly needed a couple more mugs! Hot tub was lovely and the lady who owns the cottage was friendly and I know if wed had any issues she would have dealt with them. We didnt have any issues though it was perfect! We loved Ruthin and Denbigh Castles and had a trip to Llandudno and Snowdonia. A perfect base for exploring North Wales
Ty Coch absolutely exceeded all of our expectations its simply fantastic! So clean, wonderfully decorated and in a beautiful, quiet location. Leah is an amazing host and did everything to make us feel welcome. Cannot recommend enough, you will not be disappointed
A very high spec holiday cottage, beautifully presented and very comfortable. It was a treat to come back to after our days out in this beautiful part of the world.
