Fallows Reviews

Lodge was lovely, clean & spacious. Hot tub was great and in a private area, which was much better than other lodges where we have stayed. We took our dog, so having a fenced off area was ideal. We loved the log fire, really cosy for a winter break. To improve the lodge I would add mattress toppers to the beds to increase comfort, put black out curtains in the bedrooms and have a larger sofa in the lounge, an L shaped sofa in that space would have been perfect.

We had a good relaxing weekend away the only downside was there is no light outside the cabin apart from 1 light which is on a sensor but not great when we were in the hot tub. Was ok as we had a portable light which we had brought but without that we would not of been able to use the hot tub when it was darker in the evening
Robert
This was our second visit and we had a lovely relaxing 5 days. the lodge was well equipped, had everything we needed including really comfortable beds. The maintenance person came round to sort out a little problem we had with the shower and also called the next day to see if everything was ok. we will definitely be back for a third visit.
The picture of the lounge made it seem larger than it was in reality, however other than that the place was superb. Great location, quiet with lovely looking cabins. The occasional errant golf ball was perhaps our greatest worry. Hot tub was great after a busy day of sightseeing. Great communication when needed with admin.

Fantastic weekend break with my husband and children aged 8 and 10. Property was as described, had everything we needed and more. Fab location, so peaceful and private. Really helpful, friendly and responsive staff when it came to check in. My children are already asking when we can go back! My only very minor comments are that there wasnt any instructions for the hot tub so it was trial and error. Also there were quite a few cobwebs, it just needs a little bit of extra attention to give it a good dust and polish everywhere and it wouldve been a 1010. Other than that its a fab little cabin and can definitely see us returning again and again from now on.
Fantastic place to stay ,only negative is gentlemen came to check hot tub early ... Fantastic place to stay ,only negative is gentlemen came to check hot tub early so still in pyjamas, would definitely stay again

If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing break The Falliows is the perfect place. Just got back from a wonderful long weekend there, the lodge is beautiful and so clean and so comfortable. We just didnt want to leave, would highly recommend and we will definitely return.
Lovely place and very comfortable
Everything was as expected, great location for a drive out and the accommodation was warm, clean and had everything you need. children really enjoyed it, no complaints and would definitely stay again
Nice family break
Michael
Nice cabin with everything you need for a weekend away only downside is the location of the cabins right next to a golf driving range and shopping centre with no views and no parking next to your cabin .
Lovley peaceful stay at the Fallows, the cabin was clean with fresh linnen & towels provided. The hot tub was clean & was checked daily. The grounds & the views surrounding the cabin are stunning. Would definatly stay again.
Very nice place to stay, secluded and quiet. Beautiful lodges and no noise from the roads. Rooms very spacious and facilities are clean. Would definitely go back again. Hot tubs are cleaned after each stay. Owners are on the end of a phone if any problems. Only a 2030min drive to most areas of north wales and lovely walks nearby. Only suggestion is needs a mirror in front room of lodge we stayed in, but no other issues. Thanks for the time we spent there.
Charlotte
The place was very dirty and needs up dating , the chairs in the lounge plucked all my daughters pants as they where all cracked . The bedding was clean and thats what made the stay stayable and the hot tub was clean . Its in a nice location and was very quiet . Would not visit again because of the Cleanliness of the main living areas .
My wife and I have just got back home from a week's stay in the Fallows lodge in Llannerch holiday park. Our last three holidays have been cruises but as we now have a little dog, Bruiser we decided to have a week away in Wales and kept our fingers crossed for good weather, which we got, lovely sunny days with some rain overnight. The accommodation was great, no issues and everything was in the lodge that we needed, Fridge, Freezer, new cooker, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, TV, DVD player, hot tub, BBQ and more....... Really spacious accommodation, clean and tidy, so pleased we booked here. We loved the hot tub and used it several times every day, the maintenance man came every other day to check the water and add chemicals. We used the BBQ most days for our evening meals and made parked lunches for our daytime food when we were out and about. The grounds are immaculate and the location is a perfect base for trips to the many dog friendly beaches along the coast. We will definitely book here again, all three of us were very sad to leave, lol.
Sharon
Was lovely and peaceful break. The cabin was furnished to a high standard and well stocked for kitchen facilities, didnt really need bring much. Think we are now too relaxed and my children want a hot tub at home!
Courtney
Beautiful lodge, perfect for our little getaway. We even had a Christmas tree and decorations up wich made our holiday even better. The lodge was so so clean and ideal if you have a dog as it has a secure little garden by the hot tub meaning we didn't have to worry about the dog while in the hot tub. We Will definitely come again!
Dishwasher was really dirty inside. General cleanliness poor. We found crisps on the floor which no one in our party had eaten. Small settee with recliner only working on one side. Third person had so sit in bucket seat, which is not comfortable after a period of time. These things are so easily remedied.
Sandra
It was an enjoyable 3 night stay. Very quiet area. Some areas of lodge were a little tired looking The solar lights around hot tub area were not working. Hot tub was hot and a really pleasant experience. There was a bees nest just under the lip of the hot tub with 68 bees flying round it. No bother to us though. Reported all to friendly staff As we left who said they would sort out ready for next visitors.
Robert
Somethings were broken when we arrived the rug in the lounge area was very dirty and we had to hoover it when we arrived, 2 cushion covers had big holes in them, the skirting around the kitchen kept springing out when we open the dishwasher door, the bottom of the chest of drawers in the twin room was broken and laying on the floor, the metal tread going out to the hottub was broken and was leant against the wall, one of the cushion covers in the main bedroom had stains over it when we were arrived and we had to wash the pots and pans in the kitchen as they were all sticky and greasy when we arrived.
Really nice comfortable cabin and the hot tub was a really good quality , nice ... Really nice comfortable cabin and the hot tub was a really good quality , nice and quiet great for taking the dog nice walks near by the pubs are not as close as made out
Rachel
Lovely cottage! A few little tweaks needed... a shelf was broke on arrival, Backs missing off the remotes, needs a fresh coat of paint on walls, but it didn't hinder the holiday in anyway. Would recommend this place to others.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Fallows. The only thing I felt was that the cabin looked a bit tired and could do with a refresh, decorating, clear weeds from the entrance etc. Other than that the location was perfect and it was lovely that Claire came to meet us when we arrived We would stay there again
The corse fishing was not acceptable as you couldnt really fish it no marked out pegs poor water quality
Great location great Log Cabin very clean everything you need Hot Tub was brilliant lovely log fire plenty spare logs.
Overall the holiday was brilliant. Great log cabin, cosy and spacious, hot tub was lovely and facilities all good. The last who owned the lodge was really helpful. However, when getting in touch with Skye cottages themselves about a late checkout, they told me it wasn't possible as there was cleaners coming in. However, Claire told us there was no rush on the last day! Communication between the two obviously isn't great. The only other comment I would make, is the fairy lights were broken outside so it was a bit dark in the hot tub at night just a little light outside would do fine.
An extremely lovely weekend retreat. Very clean and relaxing.
Andrea
The cabin was everything we expected and more. The welcome pack was much appreciated, very thoughtful of Claire. A perfect base for visiting the hot spots of North Wales, we were spoilt for choice for days out. The hot tub and wood burner were a pleasure to return to after a busy day, we felt pampered and well catered for. We will definately return and are recommending the place to family and friends
Lovely cabin, great location for exploring North Wales. Very relaxing, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. We had everything we needed, Hot Tub was fantastic. Highly recommended.
It was a very well equipped cabin with everything you needed, it was like a home from home. It is in a pleasant quiet location, just what we wanted. We would recommend this to family and friends wanting a chilled holiday.
We liked the peace and quiet at Fallows. The owners were excellent and the hot tub was great. We have nothing but praise and will be back.
We loved everything about it, from the location, the welcome we received, the accommodation, the log fire and especially the hot tub. We will definitely return.
Absolutely superb, would highly recommend. The hot tub was amazing! The lodge itself was immaculate, can't recommend it enough.
"Everything was better than we expected. We thought by the pictures that it was going to be nice but the pictures don't do any justice to the property; the wood burning fire and the hot tub are fantastic additions and make the cottage perfect for a couples holiday."
Amazing Lodge
This was an ideal getaway just before Christmas for me and my partner. We had a little trouble in finding the place (don't listen to satnavs!) but Claire (the owner) called and guided us in. She was really friendly and welcoming. We were surprised by both the quality of the cabin, and the facilities that it offered. We really didn't need to bring a thing, as most of the basics that you'd need are already there. The bed was really comfy, and the living room was lovely and cosy (not that it's small, because it certainly isn't. Everything was really well decorated and there was a lot of attention to detail: there were Christmas decorations up, and Claire had left us some eggs, bread and milk for breakfast. The place was spotless. The hot tub is great, and it's nice that it's always ready to go even in the cold winter of North Wales! All in all, a really relaxing stay. We didn't really venture out, but I understand there's lots of things to do in the area. We'll definitely be rebooking.
An outstanding property and a brilliant holiday. The owners couldn't do enough to ensure we wanted for nothing and had one of the best, most relaxing holidays we have ever had. Booked again for next year the day we left.
