Very happy with stay for second time thanks
Pretty much the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. The sort of place where you could hold Christmas and rely on having everything you need equipment, beautiful spaces and comfort. Thank you x
Louise
A wonderful spacious property in a great location. Great facilities. Even included bath robes for the hot tub!
A fantastic home which is perfectly located. A wonderful base for our intergenerational holiday. Would highly recommend. We absolutely loved it. The kitchendiningfamily area was perfect and where we spent the bulk of our time.
Beautiful property in a stunning location
Great stay for the family for my mother in laws 80th birthday celebrations. The property was perfect and exactly as seen on the pictures. The views of the countryside whilst having breakfast and dinner were excellent as were the wider facilities of the games room and hot tub. Teleri was very helpful, checking in with us on arrival and before departure to make sure everything had been good. Easy walk into Llanwrst or 5 minute drive to the local supermarket if needed with a slightly longer 10 minute drive into Betws Y Coed. Several longer walks right outside the cottage and Capel Curig not too far away either. All in all, a fantastic stay, in a beautiful home, which made the birthday celebrations perfect.

Honestly, it was a perfect holiday! The house was absolutely gorgeous, perfect size for 10 people and a dog, the location was stunning, and the hot tub and games room were the icing on the cake, they were used everyday! All of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and all hope to come back one day. The beds were extremely comfortable one of the best I've ever stayed in, most of us found ourselves in the conservatorydining area most days as the chairs are comfortable and the views are amazing. One thing we appreciate on holiday is not being bothered by the owners, and Teleri was fantastic for this. She dropped by on the second day and the departure day just to check everything was okay, you could text her if we needed anything, and she came by everyday to refill and clean the hot tub, but was not intrusive at all, she was fab! The sofa's were okay comfort wise, but that can be a preference thing, and it wouldn't stop us from coming back, but overall plenty of seating around the house. The fire was also amazing, used it everyday, and there was plenty of wood supplied in the barn for a small fee! Overall, we couldn't praise this house enough and cannot wait until we are able to book again!
Great house, had a brilliant time. Good size for 5 couples, lots of local activities to do, plenty of space, and games room and jacuzzi were great !! Brilliant long weekend away
We stayed over Christmas and it was the perfect place , had everything you needed for adults and children . We loved it
We have just returned from a magical early Christmas weekend away with friends, the house is gorgeous, its decorated and presented to such a high standard. I cannot speak highly enough of Pengwern, you can tell the quality, thought and love has been given to this beautiful house. The hosts were amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. Such a wellequipped and maintained, amazing fivestar accommodation. Thank you for our stay, we all loved it and will be returning in the near future. Sue Davies
A stunning property in a fantastic location. We spent a brilliant week here as a family get together and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Set within easy walking distance to the lovely town of Llanwurst with a great choice of pubs. The hosts were very nice and helpful and kept an eye on the hot tub maintenance each day. Betws y coed is well worth a visit and can be walked from the door over the forest path and a train back if preferred. Games room was a nice touch and a bit of fun. I would definitely recommend this place and hopefully will come back too.
Abigail
Brilliant house, lots of space, very well maintained. Lovely location! We felt some pressure to be out of the house before 10am despite checkout being at 10am and there were a couple of occasions the hot tub was checkedchlorine added but communication wasnt clear, it would have been nice to have a clear understanding of whether we needed to stay away and for how long for, each time.
Beautiful property with excellent facilities, the only improvement i can suggest is having towellng robes available for when using the hot tub. have stayed in other properties where there is a hot tub and robes and slippers were provided but loved the house and the surrounding area would well recommend
Lovely house very well looked after with all facilities and an amazing location. Thank you to Teleri for being so accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions.
Absolutely loved this holiday home shared with family of 3 generations with something for everyone. Very clean, very cosy, stunning views and so well equipped. We had wonderful weather so we were able to get out and about but could have easily stayed at home all day and enjoyed the facilities. Lots of wonderful walks right from the doorstep too!
Patricia

Barbara
The property was amazing. Beautifully clean and well equipped. Lots of comfortable furnishings. The children loved the games room and garden. I have already highly recommended to friends
Alison
We stayed in this property in July. We were very lucky with the weather but felt even luckier with the property. It was superb and totally exceeded our expectations. It was tastefully decorated and was extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and games room. It's ideally located for walks and local attractions. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday and we would definitely love to stay again.
Louise
We had an amazing stay at Pengwern Farmhouse the owners made us feel very welcome. Having stayed here 2 years ago before they had it we can see they have done a brilliant job upgrading the property & the interior decor is beautiful the whole house is very impressive, the views are simply stunning we never got tired of looking out across the countryside, the grounds, games room & hot tub are all a great added bonus. The property is in a prime location to get out & explore Llanwrst, Bwets y Coed, Trefriw, Conwy & Snowdonia we will most definitely be returning thank you so much for sharing your home.
Anthony
Fantastic property and great location. Highly recommended and would book again. Games room and hot tub a big hit with the family. Views from hot tub are terrific.
We had a fantastic week in this beautiful, immaculately presented house, thank you!
Only one thing missing blackout or blackout blind in the bedroom especial the down stairs one gets a very light at 4am
Jennifer
Absolutely lovely place to stay. The house has great views across the countryside, the decor in the house is lovely. All very fresh and spotlessly clean. The games room was great fun for all the family and the hot tub a real plus. Conveniently located for a walk into Llanrwst and a shirt drive to Betyws y Coed. We had a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend.
Myself and the group had a great time and made good use of the facilities. Excellent views and a good central point if you wanted to do walking, water sports or any other activities Would definitely rebook, very clean and had everything we needed. Would probably have bigger TVs in the rooms but apart from that all good!
Wonderful stay celebrating a 50th birthday as a family party of 10, including 5 children. A fantastic house, clean, homely and with plenty of space and amenities the games room, hot tub and bike storage were really great for us. We loved the peaceful and scenic location, the lovely short walk to Llanrwst and beautiful longer walk through the forest to BetwsyCoed. Would thoroughly recommend!
Andrew
Great place to stay with a large family group ! Nice selection of treats in a welcome pack left by the owner .
Rachel
Lovely house beautifully furnished with fabulous facilities plenty of pots and pans and crockery. Be mindful if you are not used to cooking with an electric hob, but Im used to gas and found it very difficult time gauge timings Great location with beautiful walks nearby, great butchers and well stocked coop in Llanrwst and nearby Betws y Coed. owners helpful and friendly. some of the pillows are feathers so take your own if you are allergic like me. The hot tub and games room were definitely a winner with my family.
Our family had a lovely long weekend break at Pengwern Farmhouse. The rural setting there is great and the interior of the property is superb stylish, yet comfortable. It proved ideal for 9 of us 3 generations, to celebrate an 80th Birthday. We appreciated the welcome 'tray' of local products and the owner too was very welcoming. We would all like to return there at some time in the future.
Fantastic home ! Re visit already being planned.
Fantastic property, lovey location. Perfect way to spend new year
Heather
It was everything we wanted.
Claire
We have just returned from a wonderful family weekend away celebrating a birthday. The property was perfect. The house is a great size and beautifully decorated. Lots of attention to detail, the log burner was even prepared ready to be lit. This was great as we arrived late and meant we could get our weekend started straight away. The house was spotlessly clean which made us feel comfortable and able to relax. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, the house is well equipped. We loved the hot tub, it was the perfect way to relax with the most amazing views. We would definitely book this property again, its in a great spot with lots to do nearby. Lovely walks in the forest, just a shame we werent there for longer so we could explore more of the local area.
Richard
I rented the property for my family10 of usto celebrate my 70th birthday. The property was excellent and the location of the property was wonderful. So much room for all of us.The garden was ideal for the children to play in .Plenty of room to have the barbecue out.Ideal play room. Would highly recommend this property.
Anthony
A lovely house in a very attractive setting. A well equipped property and a very good welcome pack. The dining table and chairs were perfect for our family group of 10 and view across the valley was supurb. The only downside for us that the seating in the lounge could have been more comfortable. Perhaps a few chairs with high backs?
Truly great holiday, cottage was great, views exceptional
Could be more child friendly with swings and slide etc. In the garden also plastic cups and plates so babies dont break anything
