Plas Iolyn Reviews

We had a fantastic weekend with all the family celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. Kids absolutely loved it and didnt want to go home. Everything was there that we needed and more. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to all my friends 100
It was perfect a really special early Christmas
Had an amazing weekend at Plas Lolyn with family members with ages ranging from 7 months to 60 years. Scenery around the property is stunning. The property is finished to a very high standard, beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The owners live on site and are there if you need anything but leave you alone to enjoy your stay. One of our guests asked for an extension lead which was dropped off straight away. The welcome basket was a nice touch thank you. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. Cannot wait to return for another stay

We had a wonderful week at Plas Iolyn. We are a family group of ten, with ages ranging from 8 to 75 and we were all very happy. The house was warm, spacious and peaceful it was beautifully furnished and the beds were wonderful. The large hot tub and games room were very popular. Iona, the owner, was very friendly and responded to our requests promptly. She even with the help of her children judged our annual pumpkin carving competition. The house is well placed for the many activities the area has to offer.

The house and rooms are so much bigger in real life than in the pictures. Every bathroom is finished to a high standard, it's a gorgeous house. The dining table is incredible for a large group of people and the games room is a great addition. Only feedback would be that we were only left with 2 dishwasher tablets which isn't enough for 12 people for 2 nights3days. We would have washed by hand but were left with only a tiny drop of already watered down washing up liquid.
This farm house is outstanding! We have just stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time. Everything was top notch and very homely. We were welcomed with a lovely hamper which was a lovely surprise and the owner couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely return xxx

The hosts were fantastic, the venue was amazing! It was clean, tidy, modern and very homely. We stayed for 5 days and don't have a bad thing to say about the venue! Lots of local attractions and places to visit as reccomended by the hosts and we wouldn't hesitate to return or reccomend friends to visit! 1010!
Could not fault this holiday home . Beautiful scenery. Plenty to do with games room an hot tub . Age ranges from 2 80 all enjoyed it immensely
Such an amazing property. So modern inside yet the property was built in 1908! Dream home. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely go again
This was an ideal family stay. There was plenty of room and with so many bathrooms, there were no queue worries. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and we loved using the hot tub and bbq. With the great views and peace we all had an amazing holiday!
Sophie
We visited for a Hen weekend and we had the most amazing time. The host Iona was wonderful and friendly. The house was spotless and unbelievably comfortable. A lovely welcome basket was there on arrival and hot tub was ready and waiting. Surrounding area was beautiful and I really enjoyed waking up to see a baby cow playing in the field with his mummy! Highly recommend to all visitors and will hopefully be returning back there soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay
Absolutely wonderful property we couldn't fault it! 13 of us stayed in Plas Lolyn for a hen do and had the best weekend. The property was clean, very spacious, sociable and comfortable and Iona was super responsive and helped us when we needed. The kitchen is a standout feature and had everything you needed we baked cakes and had a bbq overlooking the gorgeous Welsh hills. The hot tub was a huge plus and the games room provided lots of entertainment space too! We will be definitely recommending this property to our friends and can't wait to return. Thank you so much Iona!

This was my fourth stay in a Sykes cottage, and this was the best yet! The house is very well equipped, clean, tastefully decorated and well laid out. Communication from the owner was top notch, and local knowledge was provided regarding food shopping options. The heating was immediately adjusted to our needs, and our whole extended family were very comfortable throughout our stay. The games room and the hottub were fantastic 'addons'. DiolchThank you!
Matthew

Excellent cottage we all loved the place. Very clean and had every item you could possibly think of. Each room was unique the original barn doors were stunning and added that architectural merit to the property. The hot tub and games room were added bonuses! The log burner in the ground floor snug was lovely on an evening once the kids were all in bed. The owner was on hand to welcome us and was so accommodating in our requests Thank you, Iona
Gorgeous property. Very clean could not fault. Fab hot tub with lovely views. Has everything you need. Great views and good location. Fantastic kitchen with massive dining table. Really good games room with pool table and table tennis The only downside for us was although it had lovely warm underfloor heating downstairs the upstairs was quite chilly during our February stay and none of us could get the upstairs radiators or towel rails on to warm up. However we would definitely book and stay in this wonderful property again
Don't wait! Go & stay here as soon as you can. It is the very best place the 8 of us have stayed either on this island or overseas. The scenery is fantastic especially from the hot tub. A completely renovated large house done with great care & taste. Comfortable beds. Very well equipped. The downstairs kitchen area has underfloor heating & it was divine. The owners are truly caring, friendly & are so helpful.
Stephanie
Absolutely fantastic, will definitely be returning
