Tan Y Ffordd Reviews

The cottage was nice and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. The Location was ideal to visit local attractions and we also really enjoyed the open Logfire. We did however have to go out and buy 4 bags of logs as there was none at the property on arrival which was a little disappointing, also the hot tub water did smell a bit and the filter display said filter change 5 days overdue probably causing this smell. The hamper on arrival was a nice touch and like I said overall enjoyed the stay.
Fabulous stay at Tan y ffordd, the hosts are super friendly and respond very quickly. We had a Lovely welcome basket when we arrived. The house is in a perfect place for peace and quiet. The fenced garden was great for the dogs. Hot tub worked perfectly the whole week we were there. Furnishings are very good quality. The fire in the lounge was great for the cold evenings. The only criticism I would have was that the kitchen lacked some items like a jug, pasta colander and a strainer for rice but we managed All in all a fantastic time was had by all of us. We will definitely return

I stayed at this property at the end of August with 9 other family members and our dog for our mums 70th. On arrival the house was spotless, lovely and warm and nicky had left us some lovely supplies along with a birthday card, a lovely touch. The house is fully equipped for all needs and has a great utility room which was perfect for storing dogs bowls etc and muddy shoes. There is also a piano in the hall which my daughter enjoyed playing. There was so much space for us all and a nice enclosed garden for the dog. There is a hot tub but we didn't use it on our visit. The location was perfect for us , a short drive into conwy and a lovely pub 0.5miles where we had a beautiful Sunday roast. I highly recommend this property and would definitely book again if we had any family celebrations. 1010
Great location and lovely cottage with added bonus of hottub
Andrew
Wonderful cottage. Good secure garden. Great hot tub! Its a great cottage to stay in . Perhaps a bird feeder would be nice to get to see some of the birds all around the cottage. Didnt find that we needed anything else, the hamper was amazing thank you.
We loved our stay here. The enclosed garden was brilliant for our dogs, they loved the freedom and the size of the garden. The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was a very relaxing place, my family loved it aswell. The owners were easily contactable and were lovely people who did everything they could to help.
Had a enjoyable stay at tan y Ffordd, lovely cottage, clean and spacious, great location to explore wales,
Our 4 night stay at your cottage was lovely, from the evening we arrived to find a BEAUTIFUL welcome hamper with wine, Barra brith, Welsh cakes to the comfort of a delightful sitting room with warming log burner. It was a brilliant stay and we are very grateful to Helen for her trouble in rescuing the hot tub when the pipes had protested in the incredibly low teperatures just before we had arrived! Thank you.
Andrew
Stayed for 7 nights and could of stayed forever, arrived quite late so was dark, woke up to an idyllic setting with snow all around, the cottage is very warm and with temperatures dropping to 7 the log burner was amazing, sitting in the very hot tub on an afternoon and evening was bliss. You have everything you need as its fully equipped.a proper home from home, the garden was secure for dog to run around freely.we will be back.

We had a fantastic time at Tan Y Fordd cottage, we couldnt fault the cleanliness and overall accommodation of the property, it was set in a great place and plenty of land for the dogs to roam. The hot tub was fantastic and was such a great feature to the property. The owners were very accommodating and left us a fantastic welcome package. The only thing I would suggest is a new mattress in the top floor as we could feel a couple of springs, but apart from that I couldnt fault anything else. Thank you for letting us stay!
Nicola
We felt at home the minute we walked through the door. The log burner made the cottage very cozy. It was fabulous to sit in the hot tub under the stars. Standard of cleanliness was exceptional and lovely welcome pack which was very appreciated by the children obviously not the wine!. Have already booked again for next year.
Our stay was perfect. The location is ideal as a springboard to explore North Wales. The location is calm and peaceful and equipped with everything we needed for a family break. I hope to return next year and create more wonderful memories.
Perfect holiday cottage to escape to. Facilities were excellent and the place was spotless on arrival. Hottub was a nice bonus.
