Lexden Reviews

Jo
Enjoyed our stay in Saundersfoot so much. Lexden house is a great holiday home. Perfectly situated for the beach and amenities. We soaked up the views from the balcony and terrace. Garden is nicely enclosed and private. Hot tub very welcoming. Would like to visit again.
Shirley
Our second stay at Lexden and loved it again. The owners provide very comprehensive information and are intent on your stay being as perfect as possible. The location is stunning, the veranda is the perfect spot, no matter what the weather, as you sit and stare at the ever changing vista with sky and sea. Glen beach and the surrounding coves were q uiet and the sea is so safe. Saundersfoot has great shops and eateries - our new favourite pub was the Old Chemist with direct access to the sea!
Margaret
A beautiful house. The furnishings and fittings and equipment were first rate. The space is generous and the three couples each valued having their own bathroom. The house was ideal for the two children too.
Yvonne
Lexden is a very comfortable, well equipped and truly lovely house. Sitting on the balcony with the wonderful view of the sea with morning coffee and evening cocktails was memorable. Set in a wonderful location, with a little walk to the beach, and lots of places to explore it was a super holiday. We all loved our time there.
Lou
Great house for a large family holiday to Saundersfoot. Large communal living area, fantastic balcony to enjoy your coffee in the morning sun. Bedrooms are great sizes
Roger
Lexden is an absolutely fantastic holiday house in a great location. The house is laid out extremely well, with the 5 bedrooms on the ground floor, 3 with ensuite and the other 2 close to the family bathroom. Upstairs the open plan living area is great. A well equipped kitchen and we really liked the outside terrace and great views. The nearest bea ch is a 5 minute walk down a paved road . The centre of Saundersfoot is about a 10 minute walk. Ideal for our family holiday.
Helen
Stayed at Lexden with a family group of four generations. We all had the most wonderful time, everyone loved it. The house is so well presented, hosts have thought of everything. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda taking in the view, it is spectacular. The hot tub was fab, garden was lovely, so relaxing. The weather was great while we were there and we all had a perfect week.
Kris
Very well equiped cottage with a fantastic view.
Linda
Lexden is a wonderful home perfectly positioned for Saundersfoot with lovely views. Fully equipped, spacious, clean and bright. Information received from the owners was excellent and extremely helpful.
Angus
What a fantastic place. We want to come again and have recommended it to everyone we know. Everywhere there are great touches that highlight the time and effort taken to make it such a one -off. Lexden is the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in. The hot tub was a extra special bonus on top of everything, didn't make it in whilst it wa s snowing, but given the howling gale at the time, maybe not a bad thing.
Karen
I would highly recommend this property. It is in a fantastic location, a short walk into the charming village of Saundersfoot, within walking distance of Tenby, and with a great sea view! We would definitely go book again!!
Claire
Perfect location and fabulous views from the upstairs' balcony. Tons of extras included in the property which helped make the holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Lexden is an amazing cottage which exceeded our expectations! The owners were extremely helpful both prior to our visit and during. The cleanliness was of a very high standard (even the windows had been cleaned!) and there was plenty of everything from dishes to cutlery and the 2 dishwashers! The location was perfect and only a short drive to Tenby whereas the local beach was less than a 5 minute walk away, the views from the top floor were amazing and I enjoyed beautiful sunrises most mornings.
Michelle
Absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in Lexden last week and granted the weather made it even more incredible but we were simply blown away with the house, the location, the stunning views that were on offer and the local amenities. Thank you for such a wonderful stay X
Glenda
Our 2nd year at Lexden as 3 families including grandchildren. The house is so comfortable, clean and well equipped. I would say the owners really care and there is nothing negative to say. We spent 3 days on the Beach down the Glen, a day at Pembroke Castle and 2 days inside because of heavy rain. The 7 year olds love the privacy of the play room w ith X box and their own i pads. The jacuzzi is great and the garden perfect for soft ball games. Beds are comfy and towels luxurious. Highly recommend
Roy
Myself and my family have just returned from our week in Lexden in Saundersfoot and we had a great time. The house especially was fantastic with everything we needed, it really is a nice property with just a few minutes walk into Saundersfoot and about a minute walk to the beech down the Glenn. If your thinking of booking it just do it it really is nice.

The house was beyond our expectations. Clinically clean, with beautiful views across the sea. The lovely huge windows overlooking the garden were an added bonus. We spent many hours watching the wildlife flittering across from tree to tree. The kitchen was full beyond any kitchen I have been in with cooking items making it a fantastic home from hom e. The owners were exceptionally helpful, and even returned my coat that I left there very promptly. Fantastic place, lovely town.

Lexden was very well appointed & perfect for a group of friends or family gatherings with the upside down layout & an external balcony there are great views of the sea. The hot tub proved to be a great asset & was enjoyed by all the family albeit in the rain! We loved the location of the property as you can walk to the beach & cafes plus there was a Tesco Metro for food shopping. We also enjoyed the walk to Coppid Hall through the tunnel to Wisemans Bridge.
Sandra
This holiday home is very clean and tidy. The owners have thought of everything you may need in the property to make it a comfortable stay. It is literally a 10to15 minute walk (although a steep hill) into Saundersfoot which has a lovely harbour & beach. Lots of great places to eat also independent bars for a drink and a lot of independent shops to browse round. There is a well stocked Tesco Express and Spar.
Dawn

This is the best equipped property we have ever stayed in. It feels fresh, clean and is maintained to a high standard. The location is great, close to the sea and town and yet still feels peaceful and quiet - can highly recommend.
Laura
Just got home from a fantastic week at Lexden with the family! Everyone loved the house, the beautiful garden and amazing hot tub (its even better when its cold right?), the great sized bedrooms and ample bathrooms (for 9 adults), and the huge balcony overlooking the sea. Being so close to Saundersfoot harbour/beach but also days out in Tenby and S t Davids we were really spoiled for choice! All the thoughtful touches around the house were gratefully received. Cant wait to come back!
