Enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Modern and clean throughout. Hot tub was great addition. Location near to centre of town but far enough away to be quiet.

Lovely newly done up property in a great location and spotlessly clean. Driveway is a bit tricky as quite narrow and steep but there is ample street parking in a quiet cul-de-sac too. Newly done out feel to the property which is nice but it is lacking some basics such as a roasting tin, hairdryer, oven crockery etc. also no welcome pack and only a Read moresmall amount of toilet paper so take all you need with you. Some of the amazing animals you will get to see include the only Canadian Lynx in the UK and you will have the opportunity to help their Lynx Conservation Project. Other activities include fantastic flying displays and play areas for the little ones...

South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
