Absolutely can not fault anything. Location is excellent, lovely and quiet and within short driving distances of loads of stuff in Blackpool. Hosts were great, would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

It was an amazing place. Really cosy and all you would need. The bed was so comfortable. I as registered disabled and I did have a bit of difficulty on the gravel drive but with the assistance of my husband it was not a problem. If we need to travel to Blackpool again I will definitely be stopping there.

Had the best time here! A lovely cottage in a great location with amazing facilities and helpful friendly hosts. Ideally located between Blackpool and Lytham we had access to lots of nearby facilities, local pub, bus routes, lots of large supermarkets. Also very quick access to main places of interest in both Blackpool and Lytham. Great beaches nearby and not far from the The pool and hot tub were such a nice bonus, we were lucky with the weather but even in a morning the pool was very pleasant to use and we used both every day. The cottage is tastefully decorated, the beds and bedding were extremely comfy and the kitchen was great dishwasher, airfryer and coffee machine included! Even some treats left for us on arrival

Excellent cottage, we really enjoyed our stay here. Great location for Blackpool and Lytham St Annes. The accommodation is separate from the main house, you have your own entrance and driveway to park your car, so it is quite private. We loved the hot tub, and the large area at the rear where you could sit and watch the chickens and ducks. Thoroughly recommended.

Mayfield Cottage is an absolute gem! We stayed for a week in August and it was just perfect. Close to all of the attractions and so comfortable to relax in after a busy day. The pool and hot tub were also amazing. The cottage is beautiful, everything has been well thought out and is of a high standard of quality. Set in beautiful grounds which are peaceful, we could not believe we were 10 minutes fro Blackpool prom! The owners are on site, helpful and very friendly. A dream come true,the host accommodated my family so lovely. We received a warm welcome.There are a lovely family that made our stay so beautiful.The cottage is very clean with high standard equipment .The facilities are well kept and well maintained .We enjoyed the vacation and did not want to leave.We took along our 28month old baby ,and the accommodation is child friendly with a huge garden and a play area which she loved dearly and could not stop requesting to go play there.We are definitely considering going back for Christmas time. Mayfield cottage was quite simply magical. The cottage was incredibly well equipped with everything you need, the cookies and crisps were a lovely touch too. Mayfield cottage really is home from home and the owners make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The hot tub feels very private with the use of a BBQ area to block the view from the owners house and use of the pool was lovely too. The grounds are beautiful and in a lovely quiet spot but all attractions and days out are mainly within a 10 minute drive. Ideal for making the most of your stay. We love the area and visit regularly and the cottage is perfectly located for us! We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, our only regret is not staying longer 6 days was not enough!.

The hosts are amazing and have complete respect for privacy. They were just a text message away if we ever needed anything. The cottage itself is beautiful and extremely clean and tidy. The beds are nice and comfy, and the thoughtfulness to leave a new gallon of milk in the fridge and a pack of Fox's biscuits as well as bath gowns for the shower and separate towels for the hot tubswimming pool. The driveway is gated for extra security althought the neighbouring area seems very safe. The grounds are beautiful, with a nice garden, access to an amazing hot tub and swimming pool, although we didn't use the pool due to the weather. Supermarkets are very close by and it's only a 1015 minute drive away from Blackpool pleasure beach theme park. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Hot tub was too far away from accommodation, this was particularly noticeable as our visit was end of October. Heating controls had child lock on so we were unable to adjust the heating controls to suit our requirements. Shower wasn't very powerful but did get nice and hot. Host was very nice and polite and accommodation was clean and tidy.

We stayed at Mayfield cottage as part of our honeymoon. Baz, Jenna and the girls were absolutely fabulous. Nothing was too much effort and each and every person went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. From teaching our daughter all about feeding the chickens to how to stroke the dog, this family have made a little friend for life who continues to talk about her friends and Marley. The cottage itself was well maintained and had everything and more in terms of equipment, utensils and the location was ideal. Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed. A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family. From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out. Also popular is the kids tractor play area. For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station. The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
