On warmer evenings, why not enjoy your meals in the expansive grounds, followed by a dip in the bubbling hot tub? After dinner, if you’re looking for a quiet space with a view, head through to the conservatory, escape to the living room with open fire, snug or take some time out I the games room, where you can challenge your loved ones to a game of table tennis, pool or a good selection of board games.
The ground floor is also home to a beautiful bathroom with walk in shower, along with four bedrooms, two super-king, one double and a twin. Follow the stairs up to the first floor, where you’ll find seven further beautifully decorated bedrooms, an emporer size French-style bed with en-suite bathroom, one super-king-size with zip/link, three doubles, a family room with double and two singles, and one twin room - all of which have access to their own en-suite bathroom where you can freshen up in style!
Three of the en-suites host a bath so you can have a long and relaxing soak to rejuvenate for the days ahead. While you're in the area, take advantage of your town centre location and visit Dalton-in-Furness’ selection of pubs, restaurants, and cafés for those evenings you don't fancy cooking.
This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals. Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos. At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed. Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.
