The Treehouse Reviews

Emma
Really loved the peaceful spot, comfy placeand the hot tub among the trees.
Emma
We had a lovely week at this charming cottage. The bed was super comfy and the shower worked perfectly. It’s well-stocked for self-cateringand the grounds are really pretty. There were a few weddings happening, but it was never noisy or disruptive. We enjoyed some great walks nearby, especially into Richmondand stopped at Aske Mocha for a coffee. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Overall, a perfect spot to unwind and relax!
Amelia

We had a lovely stay, thank you! The place was really clean and had a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. It was in a great location, just a short walk to everything. We would definitely come back again! Just a little reminder that the Wi-Fi could be better. Overall, a great experience!
Mark
We had a delightful 3 night break in February to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was the perfect cottage for just the two of us, comfortable and really well equipped for self catering. The treehouse hot tub was a big part of why we chose this placeand it absolutely lived up to our expectations! The location was ideal for exploring nearby towns and the beautiful countryside, plus we enjoyed a nice muddy cross country run! Unfortunately, the local pubs weren’t serving food on the Tuesday and Wednesday of our stay, but we did find a lovely takeaway from the Indian in Richmond (Delhi-cious).
Emily
The cottage is beautifully quaint. It has really authentic features and is spotless. The hot tub in the treehouse is an amazing experience and we highly recommend it!
Emily
We really enjoyed our stayand the hot tub in the tree house was just amazing, especially on a chilly night! The cottage was stunning inside and the bed was super comfortable, honestly one of the best we have ever slept in. The location was just perfect; it was so quiet around the cottage yet still close enough to explore. We would highly recommend a trip to Aysgarth Falls and the Hardraw Force Waterfall.

Big Sheep - EX39 5AP

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire.  Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour.  You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals.  Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.
Lightwater Valley - HG4 3HT
about 18 Miles
Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
Fountains Abbey - HG4 3DY

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families.  Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit.  The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
