Woolacombe and Saunton Sands beaches are both 3 mile glorious stretches of golden sand that welcome four legged friends throughout the year, with surfing, swimming, stand up paddleboarding and other water sports facilities, with equipment hire and lessons available to book. Barnstaple with its award winning local produce Pannier market and facilities is within three miles, whilst the bohemian surf café culture of Braunton is just 5 miles away.

The Tarka trail is a 32 mile traffic free cycle trail with a further 180 miles of scenic footpaths and bridleways.
