Owl Lodge Reviews

A wonderful lodge in a beautiful location. We loved our stay here and felt truly relaxed.
Absolutely lovely place and true to the listing, was very clean and comfortable with amazing views. Hot tub was clean and upto temperature for our arrival. Neil and Jo the owners are lovely and approachable came and asked if my children wanted to go see the RAF plane they have with us and even allowed them to sit in the seat for pictures truly amazing. Thank you. 1010 would recommend.

Owl cottage was private comfortable and warm with the most magnificent view. The hot tub was a great size with the same view. Neil was happy to show and let the family sit in the cockpit of his sea harrier which he is renovating. The only contact I had with Jo was on the phone who seemed equally lovely. My grandchildren loved the animals particularly the miniture horses. Overall a great holiday, fantastic lodge enjoyed by us all.
Unbelievable stay! !! We were incredibly lucky with the weather for my Mum's 60th birthday gathering and I cannot imagine a better place to spend the weekend. Everything was perfect, from the view to the awesome hot tubs and the lodges are furnisheddecorated to such a high standard. Absolutely fantastic holiday. Within 24hours we were looking at future dates to book again. The owners were very polite & accommodating. We loved the facilities, privacy & beautiful surroundings. Especially when their well behaved dog Billy came to visit with his ball. We cannot reccomend this beautiful holiday enough, and have told all our families and friends about it. Until next time. Thank you from Ashley & Matt.

The area is peaceful, calm and relaxing. The property was clean and very comfortable, the sofa and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped except the fridge was small, as it was only the 2 of us it was fine but if 6 stay, you might struggle. Hot tub was amazing! Beautiful views, friendly locals, helpful welcoming owners and their pets

The holiday lodge was perfect. The views from the living room were spectacular. Added bonus was the hot tub, we all loved relaxing in there after a busy day out. The area was lovely with many things to see and do. The lodge was kitted out with everything that you needed. Very clean and very new and modern, lovely. The owners were there if needed, though we had nothing to raise with them. Would really recommend and would return, thank you
An absolutely fantastic place to get away from it all. Magical views. Stunning property. Thank you
We loved our stay in Owl Cottage. The view was spectacular and all the facilities were very comfortable and well furnished. So much so that I went and bought the rug in the lounge for my own house as I fell in love with it.

How do you define beauty, peace and tranquility? The answer is easy its Owl Lodge and all the wonderful countryside that surrounds it. I cannot put into words just how perfect Owl Lodge is, I dont think I have ever felt more relaxed and at peace. This would not be possible of course without the wonderful Neil and Jo who own this amazing property, such lovely people and so welcoming. Then there is the added bonus of Billy and Rosie, Neil and Jos dogs who bought their own little piece of joy and happiness every morning. We will miss it so much but we will never forget all the happy memories we have left with. Thank you so much Neil and Jo, we will be back xxx
We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, peaceful lodge. Jo and Neil are excellent hosts and there if needed. Billy the dog is now a lifelong friend, what a lovely gentle dog he is. The lodge is almost new so two tiny improvements, a towel rail in the kitchen, heated if possible and some drawer space in the master bedroom which would be tricky given the sloping roof but I am sure there is a solution. We will most definitely look to visit again, perhaps when the starlings are murmurating.
Stuart
A fantastic lodge, the owner responded immediately within minutes! to any query we had, will definitely be back soon.
Owl Lodge is a wonderful property. Finished to a high standard and has everything you could need. The hot tub was a great bonus. Seeing the ponies and alpacas at the end of the garden was so nice, especially for the children. The owners are very friendly, approachable and helpful. We had such a good stay here. Would thoroughly recommend and hopefully we'll be back!
