We stayed at Brambles for a week with our two dogs and really enjoyed it. Liz and John were super helpful whenever we had questions. John even built a ramp for our elderly Westie to get back onto the decking - such a kind gesture! The bed was comfyand everything felt really high quality. We also loved picking up fresh veg from their sale table onsite - lovely touch!

We had a wonderful week at Brambles! The lodge is even nicer than the photos suggest - surprisingly spacious and really spotless. The bi-fold doors in both rooms were a lovely touchand we were lucky with the weather enough to open them up. The garden is perfect for catching some sunand the welcome pack from Liz and John was a lovely surprise. Hosts were super friendly and always available if we needed anything. Everything’s within easy reach, so we’d definitely come back again!

Liz and John made us feel really welcome, showing us around before giving us space to relax. The location is spot on - easy to reach the seaside and New Forest. Our little disabled dog was so happy with the ramp John made for her, which was a lovely touch. The place was spotless, well kitted outand a proper sun trap - perfect for catching some rays in the hot tub. The bed was super comfy too. We’re already planning our return next year, can’t wait!

We had an absolutely lovely stay! The cottage is truly the best we've experienced, with everything you could need right there. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out. The owners are super helpful and friendly. The location is perfect; The Wheel Inn pub nearby serves a superb Sunday roast. Bournemouth is just a short drive away. We’re already booked for next year - highly recommend!

The cottage itself is way bigger than the photos suggest - so much space and really cosy. It’s super private, which made it perfect for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the garden; it’s really secure for dogs, so we could leave the door open without worrying. The location is brilliant for exploring the area too. We had a lovely stay at this place! The property was spotless and kitted out with everything we needed. The bedroom was small since it’s only one en-suite, but the owners kindly let me sleep on the massive corner sofa, which was super comfy-just like a bed. Had a really nice time! The place felt cosy, like a proper home from home. The kitchen was well equipped, even with an air fryer tucked away. The hot tub looked great, but it was way too cold outside to bother. Definitely coming back though!

We’ve stayed with Liz and Johns a few times, but this was our first in the Brambles. Honestly, it’s a brilliant addition to the cottage options! The place is huge, peacefuland well-equipped - everything you could want for a relaxing break. The spa was a lovely touch, perfect after a day out. Fort Victoria - PO41 0RR

Fort Victoria is many attractions in one convenient location. What once was a historically important fort is now home to a Marine Aquarium, a Model Railway, a Sea Bed Archaeology Exhibition and a Planetarium. The Country Park also offers delightful woodland walks. Countryside Rangers are on hand to give guided walks of the seashore and the woodland. Admission to the park is free of charge but each of the attractions incur a small charge.
Play & Farm Park - PO31 8PE
about 10 Miles
Described as the Isle of Wight's multi activity and play Farm park this attraction will really appeal to families looking for a fun day out.  Recently improvements have been made to enlarge the straw fun play barn and this is now the biggest indoor play space on the island.  This farm is now split into separate attractions, the play barns and petting farm which include rides on tractors and trailors and the tractor driving experience. Open all year this place is also excellent value for money.
Paultons Family Theme Park - SO51 6AL

This is a really fun and memorable attraction which is suitable for day trips or short breaks.  You can buy your tickets online which will help you beat the queues especially in school holidays as well as save money.  With a whole host of attractions and thrilling rides there might not be enough time in the day!  Exciting rides include the Edge and The Cobra.  More family friendly rides for younger children include the Magic Carpet Ride and the Flying Frog.  We are sure the whole family will have fun at Paultons so check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.
Royal Victoria Country Park - SO31 5GA
about 12 Miles
Royal Victoria Country Park is highly recommended for a day out in the summer and has lots of things for children to do. There are woodland trails to explore with free maps and guides available. There are also several play areas, one for older children, one for the little ones and one for disabled children so no one is left out of the fun. Within the grounds there is also a heritage site, a tea room and a formal garden.

Paultons Family Theme Park has recently been greatly improved to include many new attractions for younger visitors. The brand new Peppa Pig World features 7 amazing new rides and an Indoor Play Area to keep the little ones amused for hours. Of course those looking for more adrenaline boosting activities will not be disappointed either as there are over 60 rides in total to try out. The mighty Edge ride and the terrifying Cobra rollercoaster are the ones to go for if white knuckle rides are your thing. Live entertainment is also on offer several times throughout the season including some amazing family shows such as "The Light Fantastic" which takes place this October.
Robin Hill Country Adventure Park - PO30 2NU

This is an award winning attraction on the isle of wight with so much to see and do.  From thrilling rides for the whole family to challenging play for younger kids they have thought of everything.  One of the highlights is the Falconry where you can see some of the most breathtaking displays in the UK.  You can also get a taste of nature and history here from red squirrels to romans.  The great value freedon tickets are well worth the money allowing you to return to the park as often as you like for 7 days.
Robin Hill Adventure Park and Gardens - PO30 2NU

Robin Hill Adventure Park and Gardens is an award willing attraction offering an amazing experience which includes thrilling rides, exciting shows and animal experiences. The park also offers excellent value as one ticked gets visitors in to 2 parks and you can come back as many times as you wish within 7 days. Rides include the family friendly Toboggan Run and Colossus Swinging Galleon but one of the parks most popular attractions is the Falconry where visitors can enjoy some of the finest flying displays in the UK. The park also has a fantastic nature area where Red squirrel safaris are just one of the attractions.
Go Ape -
about 15 Miles
Go Ape in Hampshire offers a unique opportunity for energetic adults and children over 10 to let off steam. The fun packed tree top adventure involves swinging through trees, climbing cargo nets, descending down zip wires and trekking through the canopies. Only for those with a good head for heights!  The longest Zip wire is a staggering 165m providing adrenaline boosting fun! The site also has a picnic area and kids playground.
Loch Lomond Sealife Centre - G83 8QL

The perfect place to visit on a rainy day this large Sealife Centre is currently offering 2 tickets for £15.00 when you book online. Top attractions include the amazing shark tunnel, the rock pools and the otter enclosure. This year Loch Lomond Sealife Centre is also home to Cammy - the only Giant Sea Turtle in Scotland! The centre also offers visitors an educational experience with talks and hands on events taking place daily.

Appley Park is a great place for families with young children to spend the day and is especially popular during the summer months. Within the park is a playground with pirate ship, a selection of slides and swings and a pathway leading down to a lovely sandy beach. The nearby seafront also has many attractions including a paddling pool and a 9 hole Pitch and Putt course as well as a water play area.

The Isle of Wight Zoo a firm favourite with holiday makers on The Isle Of Wight. The Zoo aims to offer visitors a fun and educational experience with a more hands on approach than many other zoos. The onsite educational team are always on hand to help visitors get as much from their visit as possible. Playful Monkeys, adorable Lemurs and White Tigers are just some of the animal which can be seen. Younger children will also love the Zoolittle Farm area where they can meet some of the zoos more affectionate residents and even get to hold them.  At only £26.00 for a family of 4 the Zoo is excellent value for money too.
Blue Reef Aquarium - NE30 4JF

Blue Reef Aquarium is an award winning attraction which takes visitors on an under water journey through the British Isles, the Mediterranean to a stunning Coral Reef. The centre has over 40 different displays with everything from Sharks to Stingrays there to see. A walk through the amazing underwater tunnel is the real highlight with hundreds of colourful fish to spot. Another favourite attraction is the adorable family of Otters who have a fantastic outdoor enclosure with breathtaking sea views. A recent addition to the site is the Blue Reef Beach Club & Splash Play - A wet play zone for children which is a big hit in the summer.
