We had a wonderful stay at the Herun in beautiful Rhosneigr, a very dog friendly location. The house was spotlessly clean and had the real wow factor when you walked in. Super comfortable beds, every bedroom ensuite so plenty of bathroom facilities. The house was well equipped with everything you could think of for the kitchen and a comfortable, huge sofa. Such a gorgeous house to spend time in between hours on the lovely beach. The hot tub was perfect, this was the highlight of the house for us. We received a welcome text from the owners when we arrived and would like to extend our huge thanks for accepting us and our little dogs. We'd love to holiday at The Herun again and would highly recommended it, there was nothing we could fault.

A first rate property in an excellent location, it has been furnished to a high standard and the owners have provided everything you could require and it was spotlessly clean on arrival Our dog enjoyed the enclosed rear garden area whilst we relaxed in the hot tub which we were able to do daily as we were fortunate to have good weather The house is within easy walking distance of beaches and a number of dining options I mistakenly thought there was an issue with the hot tub and the owners who live nearby were very responsive in resolving the issue We are planning to return in 2025.

The Herun is a most delightful place to stay. There is everything you need to give you a really wonderful holiday. From the comfortable beds to the extremely easy to use hot tub. I was a little concerned about the height of the walls because my Gordon Setter could have easily jumped over them, however fencing was provided to the rear of the garden which enabled me to allow him to freedom without worry. The only thing I felt was missing was information on the area. It would have been lovely to have some brochures available for us to look through and plan our week. As we were new to the area we had no idea what was around us, which place is the dog friendly and which eating places were recommended. Anybody lucky enough to stay at the Herun would certainly not be disappointed. It deserved the five star rating it has.

This is our second stay at The Herun and we still love it. It really has a beautiful homely feel and the owners have done an amazing job. The hot tub and outside shower were very well used and we will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at The Herun in Rhosneigr. A week by the sea in December would not be everyone's idea of fun but we had such a lovely time walking the stunning coastline in the Winter sun. We had Christmas Dinner at the wonderful Oyster Catcher restaurant and enjoyed drinks by the real fire at The Sandy Mount Hotel. The house really was a treat to stay in. Benefitting from a modern open plan design, the lounge and well equipped, immaculately clean kitchen allowed us to relax and cook in the upmost style and convenience. We also really enjoyed relaxing on the huge comfortable sofa in front of the roaring log burner. Set in a quiet location, with comfortable beds we had no problem getting a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

It was the most amazing place that we had the privilege to stay in and it was so good that we booked again before we even left. It was spotless and very very comfortable where everything had been thought off.

We had a wonderful week in The Herun, despite the two storms we found the property to be very comfortable and cosy. It had everything you could possibly need, the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need to prepare your meals, and the bathrooms all felt very modern and luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and made for a wonderful nights sleep. The owners were lovely, leaving us a brilliant welcome pack, and they texted us on the first day to check we were happy with everything. We were very impressed with the under floor heating especially since the weather was so cold and wet! This property has the fanciest hot tub we have ever had in a holiday home, and i was very sad to leave it behind at the end of the week! All in all, i think this is the best property we have ever stayed in and we would love to come visit again.

The Herun is by far the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in in the UKeverything in the property is of the highest qualitybeds,bedding,furniture,kitchen equipment. .the sofa is extremely comfy and we all enjoyed watching tv in front of the lovely log burner.The hot tub was used every daynight and the garden was secure for our dogs. The owners have thought of everything that you could possibly need for a self catered holiday and should be extremely proud of it. One suggestion would be maybe some kind of shelter over the hot tub so that it can still be used even when its raining. We would definitely love to return someday..the bar has been set very high for any future property we stay in around the uk now

The large kitchendining area and super walk in showers are particularly good. Just one point, my husband struggled with the lounge sofa, which was soft and low, another lounge chair would be perfect but thats just our age! The Herun is a superb property that has been very thoughtfully designed to make your holiday a great experience. With high quality fixtures and equipment throughout and exceptional cleanliness, you certainly get a luxury break in lovely Rhosneigr. We all loved our bedrooms, each with its own gorgeous bathroom, and the communal space was great for family time. The kids loved the hot tub and eating at the kitchen Island. The kitchen was well equipped with excellent quality cutlery, crockery, knives, pans etc. The garden was a great outdoor space. Big enough but not too much, so we always had our dog in our sight. The front gates keep everyone in and are very easy to operate. The garden is dog proof for most normal dogs, but Sammy didnt disappoint and still managed to get out on one occasion by jumping over the front garden wall. Fortunately, he walked round to the gate for us to let him back in. The bungalow has a real Mediterranean feel, inside and out, and is in a great location. The owners leave their details and are very contactable if needed. Rhosneigr has plenty of places to eat and theres a good shop. There are 3 beaches, all within easy reach, and nowhere felt overly crowded even though it was high season. We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend the Herun very highly.

Fantastic property in a great location a great living area and kitchen with everything you need and 3 good bedrooms the garden and hot tub are fantastic everything was to high quality finish. We have 2 dogs a Golden Retriever & Cockapoo they were at home straight away and we had the patio doors sliding open all the time during the day and evening You are 5 minutes away from the beach lots of walks and bars in close by This was perfect for us it had everything we need Incan highly recommend.

We had a fabulous time. The house has everything you could want, comfy beds, wonderfully equipped kitchen. The hosts are amazing. They were extremely helpful and kind. The location is superb 5 mins walk to the beach and 10 mins walk to an amazing restaurant called The Oyster Catcher. We will definitely be returning soon.

The Herun is a beautifully appointed home with quality furniture and fittings, private parking and a pleasant, accommodating owner. The bungalow is perfectly situated for the long, sandy, dunebacked beach. Rhosneigr is a very quiet area businesswise, little to do but there are a few shops and eateries however, Anglesey as a whole seems relatively laid back and relies mainly on its historical sites and scenic landscape to please, which works for us! We had a very enjoyable stay, thank you.

This place is a little gem the location is perfect as it is central to all Rhosneigr has to offer the house if just as the pictures show and perfect for a family retreat. The Herun is perfectly located for walks straight from the door as the beach is minutes away and the lake too. Great dunes to explore. The bars, restaurants and cafes are lovely, again a few mins walk. The village has a deli, shop, ice cream places and chippy too. The Oyster Catchers Wills bar serves fab pizza and nachos in a v chilled setting. The cottage is tastefully decorated and is spotless and very well equipped for cooking and dining in. The hot tub a delight and we watched the sun set with a lovely drink in there quite a few evenings. The beds are super comfy, bathrooms have nice showers. The hosts text us after arrival to check all was ok and came part way through the stay to ensure the hot tub was all ok. V helpful. We honestly couldnt fault it and had glorious weather for Feb so had one of our nicest UK hols and would hope to book again. Would very highly recommend this place.

The Herun is a wonderful property we felt very at home here. The owners were helpful and available if you had any questions. They left lovely chocolates for us, also tea, coffee etc. & treats for our dog, which was a lovely touch! The kitchen was very well equipped. The sofa was fabulous to lounge in, very comfortable. The beds are incredibly comfortable too and all with very nice bathrooms. We loved the hot tub, which was well maintained by the owners. The location is perfect, both beaches are just a few minutes walk to each. Two good restaurantsbars nearby, The Oyster Catcher and Sandy Mount House.

The Herun was wonderful, very clean and comfortable, a beautiful home. There were many little extra touches such as dog treats, the fire ready to light, biscuits, tea and coffee. The owners made sure everything was OK when we arrived. The garden is private and well enclosedsafe for dogs. All village amenities are within a short stroll. Perfectly set up for a holiday home and deserves the 5 rating. There were 4 of us with 2 dogs and we had a great time despite pretty miserable weather it is Wales after all!. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes to a great restaurant and pub. Plus you're within 30 minutes of any beach or village on the island. The Herun was ready for our arrival with the hot tub just about at the right temperature, a decent welcome pack and the nice touch of some dog treats included. We organised a Tesco delivery for the evening of our arrival so were fully set up and settled in within an hour or two. The owneragent was really helpful and set up a zoned underfloor heating programme to our needs my wife has Reynauds so needed it quite warm they really took the time to make it as comfortable as possible for us. Lastly, the Herun is fully equipped, to the extent that the special birthday treat we'd arranged, a private chef to cook a 6 course meal, had everything he needed to produce a top notch meal added bonus that he left the kitchen spotless with no washing up for us to do. We will book again.

The property is everything you could want. Fully equipped and comfortable and was spotless when we arrived. Owners are lovely and available should you need them but also leave you to enjoy your holiday. Cant rate the property highly enough. Perfectly located as its only a 5 min walk to the beach and the town centre.

We booked as need one level living and 2 ensuites for disabled family member and enclosed garden for dogs and it did not disappoint. There was 1 step at front door but not a problem for us.

The Herun was everything and more. It's a modern property that was just so perfect in every way. We were very, very happy to have booked here, the hot tub was a bonus, as well as being dog friendly and just a few minutes walk down to the beach.
