About Gwynfa

Just a few minutes from the bustling seaside town of Barmouth in Gwynedd, Gwynfa offers guests spacious accommodation in a superb location and is the perfect destination for a gathering of family and friends for a special occasion or reunion. The property has been finished to a high specification and boasts a wealth of charm and character with traditional features throughout from high ceilings and feature fireplaces to original bay windows and period tiles, helping to create a truly stylish ambience for visitors.

Step into the light and airy sitting room which has a large bay window helping to maximise the far-reaching sea views and with ample seating and a Smart TV, is a great space for guests to gather and catch up on each other’s holiday news. Along the hall and the kitchen is ready for the designated chef to create some delicious food for their fellow guests, possibly showcasing some of the area’s fantastic local produce.

The dining room is the ideal spot for hosting long, leisurely dinner parties and is somewhere you can imagine spending many happy hours enjoying each other’s company and drinking and dining together. During the warm, summer months, the enclosed courtyard is a wonderful space for alfresco entertaining with stylish patio furniture and a magnificent hot tub bringing guests outside where they can immerse themselves in their beautiful surroundings.

If it gets a bit chilly as the stars come out, make your way upstairs to the second-floor, where there is a great alternative entertaining space, an impressive snug and games room; somewhere you can imagine guests having fun socialising until the wee small hours. When it’s time for bed, there are seven well-appointed bedrooms to choose from and five bathrooms in total, so no worries about queuing for the bathroom in the morning!
