Muriau Park Reviews

Property was great and the owner is lovely and very helpful
Elizabeth
Perfect holiday, perfect location, perfect place to stay for a group of friends
Absolutely loved our 2 week Birthday holiday at Muriau park guest house. The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is perfect. Menna is a lovely lady and nothing is to much trouble for her.
Another fabulous week at muriau park. very welcoming with more than adequate spacious facilities for 12 people and a dog. the hot tub was well used by all and the added facility of a barbecue extending the very functional kitchen. situated with means to explore many towns and beaches in north wales. an excellent well run property with a charming host. thank you menna.
Just got back from staying at this wonderful accommodation. The house was lovely and had everything we needed, it was big enough that you had room to chill when you needed time to yourself. It was in a great location for everything. The owner was a lovely lady and on hand if we needed anything. Thank you.

This property was perfect for our large family. Loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. The beds were so clean n comfortable all the rooms were lovely. It was a bonus that there was a hot tub, which was well used by all. The Kids enjoyed the outdoor space, for football n other ball games. The owner Menna was always available if needed, and made us feel very welcome. She was so friendly and knowledgable about the area, she can answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend using this property if you have a group of 12 people.

Muriau park was perfect for our family of 10 and a dog. Theres lots of space inside and out. Comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Location is ideal for exploring the North Wales coastline castles and Snowdonia. Friendly and helpful host made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.
Menna was an excellent host for whom nothing was too much trouble. The house was perfect for our large group including a German Shepherd! and everything was as stated in the description. The only minor point was that the bathroom on the second floor started to develop some mould during our stay but this did not detract from how lovely the property was. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long days walk! In conclusion, we would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this property.
Had a wonderful family holiday large accommodation for all families together. We, as grandparents slept in room 1 a quiet room away from the children's rooms. Good use of hot tub in evenings. Good local chip shop lots of places to visit from this base. Really pleased we had room to park all our cars.
The family really enjoyed their stay at Muriau Park , my father in law celebrated his 90th birthday whilst there and it was a complete surprise to him that all the family could come together in such a way, finding accommodation for 12 people and a dog was challenging but Sykes cottages managed to come out trumps. Many thanks to Meena, the owner, for a really pleasant stay.

Everything about the house was wonderful we had a fantastic time. Location, facilities and comfort were brilliant and the support we received when we had one or two queries was excellent.
Stayed here with a group of ladies. Lots of utensils and glasses etc. very clean and the beds were so comfy with lovely bedding. Hot tub was great. Location 10 mins walk to centre or bus stop outside. Would stay here again and have forwarded details to all the ladies for them to book with other friends

The house is absolutely beautiful! The finishing touches and Christmas decorations were a beautiful and wonderful surprise! The owner went to great effort to make our stay comfortable and extremely pleasant!

Lovely place to stay, just need a toilet downstairs
Had a great week. Very spacious and well equipped property. Owner, meena, greeted us and showed us round. Very thoughtful welcome pack on arrival. Plenty of car parking. Great location near to Caenarfon, easy to get to angelsey and other tourist attractions.
Fantastic property for large parties. Combinations of rooms would work for many. Extremely well equipped kitchen. More than ample room for dining. Everyone can sit down together. Lounge has plenty of seating with extra in the dining area. The outside space is very generous. Although the large front garden isn't enclosed the kitchen leads onto an enclosed area with private hot tub, garden furniture n washing line. Owner attentive but not intrusive. We were a large family party of 4 generations and the property provided all we needed. Would highly recommend.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The house was perfect and location excellent.
Beautiful holiday, Mena was so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was first class and the location was ideal for travelling to the beauty spots in the area. I would recommend this to anyone.
We had a lovely stay. Great house for multi family holidays with lots of space. House is very well stocked with kitchen stuff, blankets, games etc.
Fabulous spacious house in a great location Perfect for larger families. Everything we needed was provided and the host was very helpful , while being discreet In looking after the hot tub grounds We would definitely love to go back .
It was very spacious and comfortable and suitable for our needs. Thank you Menna we had a great time.
Our weeks stay at muriau park was 100 in every aspect. The house is so welcoming, comfortable and spacious, accomodating us all easily. a dining table that all can sit around is most unusual and a kitchen which had every utensil and gadget known to man.the house is central to discovering the area, the lovely beaches, localpubs takeaways, even strawberry picking. hot tub was a big success and used by all.thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.a credit to menna.

We had a wonderful time in a fantastic well equipped house also a lovely hot tub, the host owner was extremely helpful and was a lovely lady, our party was ten adults, two children & two dogs and we had no complaints about bed or lounge comfort, the only suggestion I could make is a downstairs WC but this may not be physical possible, we have booked it again for next year so would recommend it to anyone, the only thing left to say is a big thanks to Menna for a fabulous holiday Steve
We have just had a fabulous week at Muriau Park, 11 of us stayed in comfort as the property is spacious and well laid out. The kitchen had everything we needed and all the bedrooms were well appointed. Having 4 rooms with ensuite toilets and showers meant there were no queues for the loo! It is well located for walking into caernarfon or driving to Snowden, Anglesey, Porthmadog and the scenery is just breathtaking. Menna, the property owner was on hand to answer all of our questions prior to arriving and during during week. She pointed us in the right direction for booking a sea fishing trip and pony trekking as well as recommending places to eat or avoid. She fixed every little issue we had with no fuss even replacing the tumble dryer when it malfunctioned. My family would heartily recommend Muriau Park as a.brilliant place to stay and explore North Wales.
Lovely accommodation, spacious, clean and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. An ideal location to explore north Wales.
Absolutely superb
Nicola
Another wonderful stay. We delivered a writing retreat to a host of people from the UK, Germany, and America, and all of them were very happy with the accommodation and facilities especially the hot tub! Any troubles were dealt with immediately and to a high level, and we were kept lovely and toasty in the predictably rainy Welsh weather!

We visited Muriau Park in October. It was our second visit We were a three generation party with ages ranging from 18 months to 70 . This house is just as you would wish to find your own home. The downstairs rooms are large and comfortable with plenty of seating. The dining table easily accommodates all the party . The kitchen is well equipped and has large cookers , extra fridges and good quality dishwasher and freezer. Upstairs the bedrooms are all large ,clean ,well furnished and have comfortable beds and warm bedding. Outside there is a lovely hot tub. The house is in a perfect position for touring the area with Anglesey and Snowdonia only a short drive . We also visited Llanberis Llandudno and Bettws Y Coed . The owner Menna is a pleasure to deal with and left us a goody pack on our arrival which was so kind. We will definitely be returning

Hi there We stayed there at the beginning of October, it was a wonderful place, the owner is so kind and is only a call away if your needing anything, the whole house was beautiful, and the hot tub was beautiful, especially with views from the house, would definitely stop there again
A lot of properties are described as home from home, I can confirm that Muriau park certainly does, there is nothing you do not have at home the property doesnt have, potentially it has more it is that well equipped. We had 3 families with all ages in attendance and all were very well catered for. The host Menna could not do enough and was constantly on hand if required she was great. The house was spotlessly clean, despite being so big, everywhere was cleaned do a very high standard. All the beds were comfortable with Tv's in all rooms which lets you take a break away from everyone if required
Michael
We stayed for a family holiday. The house was brilliant, had everything we needed. The location was great and the hot tub was excellent! The owner was friendly and helpful. We would love to come back!
Menna was lovely on hand if needed but also gave us privacy. She couldnt do enough for us even buying cookie cutters and rolling pin when I joked that that was all that was missing from an extremely well equipped kitchen. We would definitely love to come again
We had an amazing week and thoroughly enjoyed the space the house had to offer. I would recommend staying here. The housekeeper, Menna, was very welcoming and helpful and it was lovely to arrive with milk and juice in the fridge, thank you Menna. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of places to visit.
Jeanette
This property more than catered for our visit, Menna is an absolute diamond of a host, checked on us the evening we arrived to make sure there was nothing we needed, one of our dogs squeezed through a small gap, came back following day and Menna had secured the area, contacted Menna for cab recommendations and she organised cabs for us. This lady goes above and beyond for her guests, supplying towels and bedding, and ensuring the little things we may forget are on hand, lovely teacoffee starter when we got there and even got the bbq out for our use. This was the first time in two years we had been away with all of our family and we were celebrating my 70th birthday Thank you Menna for such a lovely stay, you were the perfect host and I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your property to friends and family
Wow ! Family of six adults and four children under eight stayed for a week. Everything about Muriau Park was just excellent, starting with the host Menna, the location, spacious rooms, comfy beds, superbly equipped kitchen with everything you could think of, great size garden for the children and our Jubilee Party on the Thursday, welcoming cakes and chocolates plus the very enjoyable hot tub ! Would recommend wholeheartedly. Thank you Menna.
Jasula
The property and location was fantastic. The host Menna was a perfect and she was eager to make our stay comfortable and when we requested few things she brought them straight away. We came to celebrate 60th Birthday with family10 people and we all had a fantastic time at the house. We would definately come back.
Rosalind
This is a wonderfully equipped, comfortable and spacious property, very well situated for exploring the surrounding area. The hot tub is an added bonus. We had a very warm welcome and Menna was always easily contactable if needed. We would definitely recommend staying here and will return if we visit the area again.
Lovely stay in a large family group for a big birthday. Obvious the house is a former B&B, but that brings ensuites and a very well equipped kitchen. Good space to prepare a meal for 12. Hot tub was great and well used. Owner was really helpful, sorting out the bbq and on call if needed.
A fantastic property in an ideal location! We stayed here with a group of friends. We received a warm welcome from Menna and were made to feel very welcome. With so many things to see in the area, we all filled our days with ease. It was fabulous to unwind in the hot tub at the end of a busy day and share our adventures over a meal around the table. We have already booked to go again next year!
