Rowarth Reviews

The place was spotless and superbly appointed and comfortable. The garden and hot tub were a dream especially in the nice weather. Had one slightly unusual issue but messaged the owner and he got onto it straight away and was so quick to respond. All in all an amazing place to stay, we hope to be back and soon!

We had a fabulous stay at Rowarth! It was our first holiday with both our toddler and dog and we couldn't have asked for a better property for it. The cottage was perfectly clean and spacious, and provided everything we needed, even plastic plates, bowls and cutlery for the little one. The garden was a big hit, a gorgeous space to play and relax in. We enjoyed plenty of day trips around the beautiful surrounding area, but could just have happily spent our days at the cottage. Thank you for having us, we can't wait to come back!
Fantastic property with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable and all essential items were provided. This property is perfectly placed to explore the surrounding area with local shops, pubs and takeaways within walking distance. The owner was really helpful and friendly. Brilliant stay, highly recommend.
We had a fabulous week at Rowarth. The cottage was the best equipped cottage we have stayed n and was the perfect base for our tour of North Wales. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The large garden with outdoor seating was well used especially the hot tub which was great after a day exploring. The owner called to say hello and check all was ok which was appreciated. Rowarth is in a small village but that suited us perfectly. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend.
Fantastic property in a great location. Really nice welcome to the property and the hot tub was a hit. The garden was great for the dogs too. The local community run pub was also really welcoming as well as being doglovers. Views were amazing, we had a really enjoyable stay!
The cottage is lovely, spotlessly clean, and the large secluded garden is a bonus. There was no handbook for the cottage or appliances, we searched everywhere. Only one toilet roll for each toilet, there were a couple of part used rolls in a cupboard. No capsules for dishwasher or washing machine, most other places usually have one or two to start off. Somewhere to keep the garden furniture cushions dry would be handy too. I think for the price this is not too much to expect.
What a find this property was,it was like a Tardis, with big dinerkitchen, utility room and everything you could possibly need for cooking if you wished to. The bedrooms were all of ample size,in fact 2 were really big and shower in bathroom was so powerful. The garden complete with hot tub and views out to the hills was a site for sore eyes.Huge Magnolia tree on the lawn and beautiful shrubs with plenty of furniture to sit out. There were lots of lights around the garden which you could have on of an evening too.The photos of Rowarth unfortunately nowhere near do the property justice. The property was perfectly situated and so an easy stroll to the cosy little community pub, takeaway, premier shop and also the Spar shop which being much larger, obviously had a much larger amount and choice of stock. The walk to the beach was a pleasant one with our dog and he loved it there with plenty of room for a good run.Its little cafe with friendly staff was handy for lunch and we can thoroughly recommend the Cornish Pasties! Elfed the owner lives just up the road and gave us a courtesy call just to make sure we had everything we needed which we thought was very kind of him. If we return to Nefyn we would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at this property. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything you would need. Beds were really comfortable, which is a must have when staying away from home. Hot tub is great for relaxing at end of day. Beautiful places to visit near by and everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. Owner close by and very helpful if any queries. We can't wait to return.
This is such a lovely place to stay and would definitely recommend. It was the two of us and our dog and it exceeded our expectations. The lounge was so lovely to relax in with the log burner and the hot tub was perfect. The whole place was clean and had everything you could think of. We even got some lovely Welsh cakes on arrival and a courtesy visit to see if we were ok. 1010 book this place!
Great cottage beautiful inside ,all a family wanted for a comfortable stay all appliances were good managed a full Xmas dinner with ease. Hot tub was lovely and large We had great feedback from the owner when we left a coat which arrived back home shortly afterwards Many Thanks Would recommend
Andrew
Superb cottage, great location we will be back!
Lovely property, great location, well maintained, warm and cosy. Sadly let down by poor quality bed frames and mattresses. We also had a problem where one day the hot tub RCD tripped. Easy enough to resolve but we did lose one days use due to it losing heat.
Excellent accommodation. Very clean, with everything you would hope to have to hand, in a holiday cottage. The garden is beautiful, we loved the hot tub and the decor is attractive and homely. The football astro behind the garden was an added bonus for my children. There were lots of local beaches with stunning views and walks to explore but a car is required to seek out other activities. I gave 4 stars for accuracy of listing due to location. All descriptions and photos of locations were a little misleading although the cottage is near the beachcoast it is a good 1520 minute walk away from the beach initially uphilland the cottage is located next to a run down, deserted petrol stationgarage warehouse not so picturesque as we were expecting. Would we return to this cottage again, if we were in the area? Absolutely yes!
The location itself is a beautiful place to be, but the accommodation was even better. We couldn't have wished for a more enjoyable experience and the facilities, amenities, cleanliness, everything was just perfect. Thanks for the great time at Rowarth, fully recommend it and will look forward to a return visit.
Really enjoyed our stay at Rowarth just a pity it wasnt a longer break ! ! Lovely cottage, well kept and had everything you needed. Hot tub was fab !! Everywhere was clean & tidy and we found the beds comfy !! Super market and a kebab & chippy close to hand. Central for lots of lovely places in north wales and the local beach was beautiful !! We couldnt fault anything about Rowarth !! The only thing I would say if you are taking dogs is that our 2 small size dogs would have got through the hedges easily but we just took them out on their leads so it wasnt a problem for us !! Would like to say thank you to the owners for a lovely break !! We would recommend and hope to return next year !!
Rowarth was the perfect base for our stay. It had everything that we needed, it was very well kept and clean and was a super location to go out and explore the local area. The hot tub was a brilliant added bonus.
George
Great comfortable accommodation. Hot tub and EV charge point great addition.
A beautiful, well equipped cottage in a lovely area, fantastic garden and hot tub. Lots to do nearby, the beach was within walking distance, coastal path with great views and pubs for lunch, a beautiful part of Wales
Georgina
Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Clean, modern and spacious! The hot tub was amazing after a good walk! The garden was huge and great for the dogs, and so quiet! The house was in a great place and we really enjoyed our stay! We would definitely come back to this home!
Melissa
We really enjoyed our stay at Rowarth, the holiday home was very spacious and warm. We cooked a few times and found everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day exploring North Wales, we would recommend this property to other people.
Kathryn
Rowarth is a great little holiday house, it is well equipped and was spotlessly clean. The hot tub was an added bonus. Your current photos on Sykes dont do the property justice, especially with the new furniture that has obviously been added.
