Swn Y Mor Reviews

This was our fourth visit to Swn y Mor and as before, everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided. The views from the cottage are amazing and the hot tub was a fantastic way to end each day. A really lovely relaxing week. Already planning our next visit
Rebecca
Great place for a short break. Lovely setting right on the beach. The hot tub is also a great feature. Just a shame many of the local amenities were closed for the season.
The location is stunning and has great beach access. Fantastic views! The flat had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and was very clean. The bathroom is modern and was very clean. Plenty of towels. The roof in the living room leaked when it rained not only during the storm. The carpet in the dining area is in need of cleaningreplacing The hot tub was great especially at night with clear skies. Temperature was controlled by the owner and it was on the cool side. Both the double mattresses are in need of replacing. It was lovely to hear the sea at night when going to sleep and on waking! The steps up to the flat can be slippy when wet and need grip plates on them. We had a great time with local walks and time on the beachpainting from the patio. Caernarfon airport is great for lunch or coffee. Airport museum good to!
Very good out of hours service when we needed it.

There were lots issues, broken plug socket in hallway, dirty George Foreman grill, dirty bathroom oven pans, dirty glass in bathroom, dirty toilet bush, mattress too small for the bed frame, headboard in other room not attached to bed, gate to use to gain to beach was not family friendly not easy to open and close and lastly the hot tub was not safe to use, although the own explained it was. The engineer who visited on Friday as we left on Saturday said it was unsafe. General maintenance of this property is poor and botched. I logged a complaint with Skyes who contacted the owner, as the owner has not responded Skyes will not take any of the concerns forward and chase the owner. Extremely poor service from both the owner of the property and Sykes.

Amazing location. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was amazing. Booked for next year. Perfect.

This was our second stay at Swn y Mor we had Christmas 2022 here. We loved it that much we booked Christmas and New Year 2023 and once again we were not disappointed. Hue and his mum are exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay special We will definitely be booking again
Fantastic location right on the beach with wonderful views. The property has everything you need. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after several walks during the week. This was our second visit here and were already planning to visit again. We highly recommend this wonderful property
Lovely welcome on arrival from friendly helpful owner. Even supplied my husband with a fishing rod as he had not fetched his. The appartment itself was comfortable with everything you could need provided. Smart TV wifi etc for the darker evenings. And the location directly on the beach was perfect for a view from the decked seating area or of course the excellent hot tub. An ideal place for a family holiday. We definitely plan to return.
Beautiful property in a terrific location. Hot tub was amazing, the views were second to none. The property has absolutely everything you might need and more. Don't wait to try the chippy, the food was great. A great welcome from the owner who looked after us superbly. Thanks Huw, can't wait to come back.
We had a brilliant week here, often bathed in sunshine when the rest of Snowdonia was being rained on. It lived up to its name we loved drinking Prosecco in the hot tub to the sound of the sea, eating dinner on the balcony to the sound of the sea, and falling asleep in our beds to the sound of the sea. 1010 from us.
Christine
Fabulous place, very clean and well stocked with everything you need for your break . Owner on hand if needed we had no issues . Loved the hot tub with the amazing views. Lovely family break in a beautiful place. Thankyou
The property was good clean and tidy we thought the beds wasn't very comfortable the views and hot tub were amazing and it can be very windy at times it is also a good place to stay for exploring places nearby also the chip shop below sells very good fish and chips. Over all we enjoyed our time there
Pauline
We had a perfect week and made special memories the owner was helpful and welcoming it was a special place.
Valerie
Lovely break, in a wonderful location, absolutely everything there you would need for a relaxing holiday the hot tub cannot be beaten Hugh looked after us well, fantastic host.
Absolutely lovely apartment, right on the shore line at Dinas Dinlle. The location couldn't have been better, and the hot tub, especially at sunset was idyllic. Not too far either to reach other towns and places in North Wales and the Llyn Peninsula. There were a few niggles in the apartment which, ironed out would make this 5 stars instead of 4 for me, and the heating just seemed to work when it wanted, but otherwise a very pleasant stay was had by all.
We had an incredible holiday in the best property in Dinas Dinlle. So sad to leave and can't wait to return.
Lovely flat, with lovely views from anywhere you sit. We had a fab time even the weather wasnt the best. The hot tub was the cherry on the top, its well positioned for views around the bay.
Lovely accommodation, great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our second stay here and will definitely be back.
Everything was exactly like the listing
Jonathan
Idyllic setting. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Ideal for family holiday. Would recommend unreservedly and are looking forward to returning.
Had a lovely week. Had an issue with hot tub towards the end of the holiday which was disappointing after all the money we paid. We also had our travel cot removed toward to end of our holiday for no Reason?
Splendid location friendly hosts all facilities as promised.
Csongor
Perfect stay right on the beach. The Welsh name of the house Swn y Mor , which means the sound of the sea , fits perfectly. We felt very comfortable as a family and had a great time. The house is a pearl on the beach spacious, lovingly furnished and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDABLE!!!
Andrew
Wonderful, peaceful location right on the beach. Large hot tub, checked daily.
