Norman
This property is very well positioned. It is easily accessible from the main roads into Sheringham and close to bus stops and the railway station. Shops and a Tesco supermarket are also nearby.
David
Fantastic place to stay for a couple, a short walk to the town and sea front, yet far enough away to not be disturbed by traffic or town noise. An ideal base to visit the many atractions of Norfolk, a must stay location for those who love steam trains; hearing the whistle of the trains from the courtyard. A Visit to Muckleburgh and Gressenhall arRead moree to be recommended for lovers of history. There are some great place to eat out but booking a table is recommended, will definately be back, pehaps for the 1940's weekend next year. Hide

Myself and my daughter really enjoyed our stay at 5 O'clock Somewhere! We were greeted by Mr Dean, whom showed us round and offered assistance if we needed it during our stay. There was a homemade loaf of bread and banana bread waiting for us too, which was a lovely surprise! Both Mr and Mrs Dean were fantastic hosts, very helpful and friendly. The cottage is located on a very quiet and peaceful street, about 5 minutes walk into town and to the seafront. We would definitely recommend to others, and we would stay again. Hide

Nigel
The accommodation was just perfect , probably one of the best we have stayed in . Everything immaculately clean and everything you need is there for you . Perfect location with just a very pleasant short walk to the beach. We was given a warm welcome by the owner who was very friendly on our arrival and showed around and had everything explaiRead morened to us . We was then left alone to enjoy our holiday but was told just to let them know if any problems as they are just next door ( there was no need as everything was just great and no problems) The home baked bread, scones tea, coffee etc was a very nice touch . Dvds, books and board games available to use ( we didnt have time to use any as was either out making most of beach or enjoying hot tub ) but would be great if weather wasnt so good . Loved being able to check Weather with Alexa every morning. We will definitely return as soon as we get time and would highly recommend. Hide
Sara
A well appointed and very comfortable property, a lovely place to come back to after a day out. Close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely go back again.

A very warm welcome from the homeowners with generous arrival refreshments. Property is extremely modern and has everything you need. Ideal quiet location, but Sheringham only a short walk away. Hardly any need to use the car as travel is very easy by trains and buses. Would thoroughly recommend as a lovely base for exploring Sheringham and the surRead morerounding area. Hide

Attractions Near 5 O'Clock Somewhere

While there'll be plenty to keep you entertained an 5 O'Clock Somewhere itself, if you plan to get out and about and see some of what Norfolk has to offer, here are some of the nearby attractions you can enjoy during your stay. Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Found a special day out near your cottage? Please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too!
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 1 Mile
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 5 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 9 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 15 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 22 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 25 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
