We stayed in this cosy little cottage and really enjoyed our time there. It’s perfect for two and a dog, even if the place isn’t huge. The narrow, winding road up to it can be a bit daunting at first, so take your time. The owners were super helpful and checked the hot tub daily, which was a nice touch. Plus, the walks right outside the door meant we could explore easily. Great spot if you want to unwind or visit nearby attractions, we’d definitely come back!

We had such a lovely week at Queach Cottage! It’s a cosy little retreat perfect for couplesand we loved how spotless everything was. The hot tub was definitely a highlight, so relaxing after a day exploring. The secure garden was perfect for our two dogs, who enjoyed running around freely. There are some fantastic walks right from the doorstep, through fields and woodland. It’s well-placed for visiting local attractions too. Parking was straightforward and secure, which was a relief. Just a heads-up, the pub is only a mile away, but coming back up that steep, narrow lane can be a bit of a trek!
James

Emma Carter
We had a lovely stay at Little Holdings, especially with the hot tub which was perfect for chilly days. The enclosed garden is a real bonus for our energetic Springer Spaniel - she loved roaming freely without us worrying. Paul and Lesley are super friendly but respectful of your privacy, which we appreciated. The location is great, just a short drive to the Forest of Dean where we enjoyed some scenic walks and even glimpsed a wild deer or two. Definitely a cosy spot for winter breaks!
