This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing, romantic hide away. The location is stunning and if you enjoy sitting in a hot tub watching owls hunt, hares running through fields and geese flying over then this is the place to stay.
Anna

Laura

Lovely place has amazing views feels really relaxing.
Luke
We enjoyed a 3 night stay here and found the place perfect for getting away from it all, owners were very friendly and approachable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (Even having a loaf of freshly baked bread on arrival). The hot tub is a nice touch and easy to use and the location is handy for exploring the dales and also only 10 m in to catterick if any shopping is needed.
Peter
We booked for a short break 4 nights at Arbour hill needing some rest and peacefulness. The cottage is in a lovely setting in North Yorkshire. The cottage is bijou suitable for a couple and is of a high standard of cleanliness and finish and set in lovely grounds. The owners are very helpful.

Lovely quaint cottage, beautifully decorated and spotless. Great location and views , the wood fired hot tub was fun, and the drop n dip service great for the first night. We arrived to freshly baked bread and eggs. The bread was delicious and a lovely touch. Perfect location to visit some great places. Just a few mins drive. We visited Thorpe Perr ow Arboretum, Bolton castle and harmby waterfall. All worth a visit. We even had sooty the cat join us on the last night.
Janet
Lovely teeny tiny property. Well laid out. Beautiful countryside. The views are stunning. Secluded location which adds to the appeal. Allow yourself enough time for the hot tub to heat up but once in it is a delightful experience. The star gazing is superb. (You have to lie perfectly still for the outside light to go outand thenwow!).
Sarah
The accommodation was beyond everything we had hoped for. Yes it is compact, but perfectly formed, well equipped and the owner was most helpful and friendly and gave us ideas for days out and gave fabulous directions so we could set off on foot to the castle we could see from the bedroom window. The location was perfect for us, just off the beaten track, heavenly no traffic noise. The property and grounds are really well maintained. The hot tub, was well worth the effort to get heated up.
Martin
Perfect little cosy hideaway nestled in the Yorkshire Dales. Loved the location, very secluded. Well equipped cottage which was clean. Hosts were very friendly and left us some freshly baked bread, butter, eggs and jams which was a nice touch! Loved the hot tub. If youre very lucky you might get a visit from the cat! We loved our stay and will be g oing back.
David

Amazing weekend away, we will definitely be back, the place was beautiful and almost felt like we wasnt in the UK, but in a beautiful setting in France with the amazing views, along with lovely owners, they were so kind and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, peaceful and relaxing, would highly recommend to anyone. Ideal location for touring North Yorkshire, we had lovely days out at Hawes, Leyburn and Richmond, was lovely to come back to such a quiet place, read our books and enjoy relaxing in the hot tub
Angela
We really enjoyed our stay and the owners parents were very welcoming and friendly! It was a nice addition with the homemade bread and fresh eggs in the cottage and very cosy, ideal for a short break away, and plenty of places/attractions to visit in the area. Their cat was equally lovely and visited often! Would highly recommend to family and frie nds.
Paul
Enjoyed a lovely relaxing stay. Perfect for a romantic getaway.
Alexandra
Lovely little romantic location with some great views. Lovely towns around the area but would need a car to travel to these. Property clean and comfortable and a lovely welcome by the owners.
Bernadette
Absolutely beautiful place, couldn't have asked for anything better. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. The cottage is small but well thought out, the hot tub is a great addition, as was the bread and eggs for breakfast, i would love to visit again in the summer.
Michelle
A beautiful hi spec cottage in a lovely rural area. The cottage is bijou as advertised but my partner is tall so we did find it a bit too small. Lovely spacious wet room though and a really comfy bed! You would have to set aside a morning to heat up the log fired hot tub if you wanted to use it later on as it initially takes 3 hours to get going. I t was a bit too far out of the way and a bit too small for us. Would recommend for summer stay but not winter
Chelsea
The most beautiful little place with amazing views from the hot tub! Personal touches like the baked bread and eggs left from the owner really stood out! We cant wait to book up again
Samantha
If you want something quirky and remote then you will love this place. Very clean/host was lovely. Views from the tub. Wow.. beautiful place. Lots of beautiful places to visit so car is essential really. Would highly recommend. Many thanks for sharing this place, Samantha & Mike
Steve
Very compact, high standard of equipment. Hot tub was great in the evening.
Andrew
1 Minimal instructions in property for equipment & locality 2 TV not working, had to use own net fix account. 3 Had a power cut - Not owners fault but he was aware when informed and clearly solor panels don't work Whilst a location to die for, the property was over sold. Clearly not as described within. Owner needs to read own description and ensur e the facilities are as described and everything works. If faults occur with heating & electrics have decency to inform his clients.
