Absolutely stunning property. I was a little worried about horsey smells and being overlooked with the riding school but there was nothing. Infact it was nice seeing the horses in the fields and listening to the crazy donkey clearly having a great time. We even had the patio doors open the whole time of our stay. The lady that greeted us was so nice and helpful. The gifts on arrival were amazing and a lovely touch. The gifts on leaving were an even bigger surprise and again a lovely touch. The hot tub was fantastic and a lady told us if we needed any extra towels just to let them know and they would exchange our wet ones as much as needed . I can honestly say I didn't want to leave. If there was any negatives it would be no blind covering the window on the main door but to be honest its so out of the way and not over looked by anyone even that isn't a negative just an observation by my hubby.

Arrived home yesterday from a Stay at Willow Willerby Hill Hideaways we had an absolutely amazing time Staff were kind, friendly and welcoming and couldnt do enough. Hot tub was checked everyday at 7am. The cottage was IMMACULATE & spotless with everything right at your fingertips and location perfect with every necessity within 5 miles or less. Also loved waking up in the morning to horses in the paddock opposite our garden. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolates and were surprised to find a bag, on the doorstep, with some snacks and drinks for our journey home everything was truly thought of down to the finest detail. Definitely cannot wait to return.

Beautiful little lodge, very modern & had a cosy feel. Everything you needed was there! Lovely little touches like food hamper on arrival & snack bags for Journey home. Would 100 recommend & cant wait to come back for another visit!

Hubby & I had an absolutely fabulous stay! We were given a welcome basket full of breakfast items and snacks for our travels after we checkout what a lovely gesture! We would highly recommend for couples who want a relaxing and romantic getaway!

Absolutely tremendous stay at the Willerby Hill Hideaways! Truly amazing hosts who provided a lovely welcome and outstanding stay. The Willow property is absolutely immaculate with so many beautiful finishing touches to make it homely. Loved both the welcome hamper and snacks for leaving, these were lovely surprises! The outdoor hot tub area is superb and so relaxing, cant wait to book up again

Everything about the Willow stay was 1st class. How clean and bright the Willow was, the hamper was a welcoming surprise and the flowers were lovely. The hot tub was amazing, there's just one small fault, the hot tub was a bit noisy through the night, but other than that amazing.

Easily accessible from our Yorkshire Dales lodge parks is The Deep! An award-winning 'submarium', attraction, which is home to over 3500 fish from around the globe. Visitors can a stroll through Europe's deepest viewing tunnel and take a thrilling a glass lift ride through the 10m deep tank. The Deep is also home to the world's largest exhibition, featuring weird animals from the depths combined with slime! Educational talks and events take place daily so visitors can learn about the conservation projects which the centre is involved in. There is also a fantastic restaurant over looking some of the displays and a souvenir shop. Family tickets are priced at just £32.00.

Normanby Hall Country Park has a fantastically tranquil location Set in the 300 acres of Normanby Hall estate offering a relaxing choice for a family day out. The stunning grounds are abundant with wildlife as well as beautiful flora and fauna and there is no better place for a summer picnic. There is also plenty of open space for children to run around. The Deer park is sure to be a big hit with the children with herds of fallow deer to spot.

Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families. In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience. Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats. The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things. We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too. We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.

Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all. From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for. Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster. Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand. Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.

York Maze - YO19 5LT

If you are enjoying a lodge holiday in Yorkshire then a visit to York Maze is a must! This summertime attraction is now one of the most popular in the region offering fun for the whole family. The maze has been improved this year and is now bigger and better than ever before. Carved from an amazing 1.5 million growing maize plants it is thought to be the largest maze in the world! As well as the maze itself the site boasts an adventure playground, 9 hole crazy golf courses and an animal petting area where children can meet the cute and friendly animals that eat the maize and watch pig racing! Tractor and trailer rides around the maize are also available and are recommended for those with young children.

Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens - YO19 6HP

A day trip to Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens is the perfect way to relax with several gardens to explore in the grounds of a historic farmhouse. The gardens were established 30 years ago and each has something different to offer. Expect to find dramatic displays of foliage and flowers as well as beautifully landscaped areas. Families will enjoy the woodland which leads to a wildlife pond and a beautiful wildflower meadow. The site runs morning courses in gardening throughout the summer which are priced at just £12 and include coffee. There is also a nursery onsite where plants can be purchased. Entry to the gardens cost just £4 for adults and 50p for children.

Jorvik Viking Centre - YO1 9WT

Jorvik Viking Centre is a fun and educational attraction offering visitors the chance to learn all about the Viking-Age city of Jorvik. Thanks to the Archaeologists from York Archaeological Trust the amazing houses, workshops and backyards of the Viking-Age city of Jorvik are on display and give a clear insight to the way of life all those years ago. The site aims to offer an interactive experience with the state of the art time capsule and the blacksmith's furnace being the top attractions.
