We recently celebrated my brother’s 40th at Bettws Hall with close friends and familyand honestly, it was fantastic! From the start, Lee and his team were super helpful, making everything easy to organise. They were always available to answer questions and sorted out little touches like balloons and a cake, which was such a lifesaver. The whole experience felt really personal and hassle-free. Definitely recommend for any special occasion - we’ll be back for sure!
Emma
The place was fantastic! Spacious rooms for 16and everything was beautifully kept. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. We left feeling super happy and relaxed - honestly, couldn’t have asked for a better break!
Sam
We had a fantastic time! The place was spotless and well keptand Lee along with the team were incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return, it was such a lovely experience for everyone. Thanks a lot!

Honestly, we loved it here! The beds were super comfy and the whole place was spotless. Perfect for our group of 15and the outdoor BBQ area was great for chilling. Plus, the local pub nearby was really friendly. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time celebrating my mum's 70th at Beeches. The place had everything we neededand the hot tub room plus sauna were a real highlight. Lee, the hospitality manager, was outstanding-nothing was too much trouble, from sorting bookings to recommending local spots. The nearby pub was great for meals too. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cosy getaway in a friendly setting!

The Lodge was absolutely lovely! We loved how peaceful the surroundings wereand it’s great there’s a cosy pub just a quick stroll away. The staff really made us feel welcome too.
Emma
We loved staying here with our big group! The jacuzzi and sauna were fantastic. Lee was really helpful. A little more clear instructions would help, but we’d definitely come back!

We loved the roomy bedrooms with big en suites, all beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we neededand the communal spaces were perfect for our celebration. The jacuzzi and sauna really made it special. Great place for a fun get-together, highly recommend!

Honestly, aside from the points we've already brought up, we can't think of any negatives at all! It's been a pretty solid experience overall.
Emily
This was a beautiful property. We felt super comfortable, especially the beds! There were only 9 of us and we used 6 of the 8 bedrooms, but even with maximum occupancy, there would still be loads of room. The jacuzzi was a great bonus. The grounds are lovely and we really made use of the covered outdoor seating, especially since it rained heavily a few times. There’s plenty of parking in the courtyard too. The local shop was closed but there’s one in Tregynon just 5 mins by car.
Oliver
What a beautiful, spaciousand really well-equipped place to stay! Each bedroom was massive and had its own bathroom with a bath or shower. It was spotless throughout, providing loads of space for our group of 12. The kitchen had everything we needed. The generous grounds were lovelyand it was just a quick drive to nearby Newtown, which is a nice little town with all the amenities you could want, including a large Tesco, Morrisonsand a Burger King and McDonalds if that's your thing.
Rachel
This lodge was absolutely wonderful! It was perfect for our mum's 80th birthday weekend celebrations. A cozy, warm, clean space that never felt cramped. Everything was top quality, from the towels and bedding to the crockery. The grand table was a real bonus, letting us all gather together. The en-suite rooms were comfortable and the place was spotless. The sauna and hot tub were just pe rfect for everyoneand the grounds were brilliant for walking the dogs, plus there’s a local pub only 100 metres away. Thanks for a perfect weekend!

From the moment we walked in, we totally fell in love with this place. It's absolutely stunning and so welcoming. It really has that wow factor! Everywhere was spotlessly clean and brilliantly equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were gorgeousand everything looked brand new. We had 14 of us here for 4 nights over Christmasand it couldn't have been more perfect. The surrounding area is lovely too. Everything was so well looked after. We made wonderful memories. Thank you so much!
Emma
We found both lodges to be perfect for our group of 16, including a baby. Everyone, from the elderly to the little ones, had a wonderful time with breakfast on the front porch, walks around the groundsand just enjoying quality family time together. The beds were really comfy. The highlights of our stay were definitely the jacuzzi and the pool table / table tennis, which we all used non-stop. We would absolutely come back. Cheers!
James
This place was perfect for our extended family holiday! Having a bathroom for each room was such a bonusand we never ran out of hot water, which was great. The staff were really helpful and super friendly too.

This place is just lovely and we would absolutely think about coming back again! The atmosphere was so welcomingand the staff were really friendly. It felt like a home away from homeand we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Can’t wait for the next visit!
Mark
What a fantastic property! We really enjoyed our stayand I reckon all six families who were there for the three nights had the same experience.
Mark
Fantastic! It's perfect for a family gathering like a 30th birthday celebration. The property was spotless throughout and the kitchen facilities were great for larger groups. If you choose to stay here, you definitely won't be disappointed. There's a lovely little pub just a 2 minutes walk away!
Joanne
Beautifully decorated for Christmas with a log fire glowing as we arrived! Champagne and chocolates were waiting for us. The rooms were all spacious and nicely decorated. There was constant hot water and great bathroom facilities. Well stocked kitchen and dining ware that was of good quality. We wanted for nothing and would love to come back at some point.

Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 12 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 14 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 18 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 22 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 22 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 25 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
