We had the most amazing week at spring lodge. A massive shout out to Samantha! She made sure our Xmas holiday was super special. Answered every message. Even on xmas day! we will definitely be returning to spring lodge. The photos do not do it justice this place is simply perfect. Location is by all the amazing beaches and close to a coop and a Chinese. And a pizza place that my 10 year old loved. We had the most magical Xmas here and we was super excited to have santa visit spring lodge and drop off all the presents Xmas eve

Spring Lodge was a fabulous place to spend a week and is in a lovely location. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We made full use of the hot tub and the log burner. Sam and Luigi were both extremely helpful and accommodating and we would definitely go back again. Thank you.
The property was extremely clean and exactly as listed, all aspects catered for, a welcome cake too! Sam was very welcoming and always on hand if anything arose, which it didnt, BBQ and Hot Tub make this property an absolute 5 star rating, All round wonderful house and highly recommend a visit Gill

Our only regret was not trusting the previous reviews more . .. we over packed! the property literally had everything we needed for our home away from home break including a delicious cake on arrival!. We suggest that you turn up with just your clothes & then if you feel the property doesnt have something you need go to the local shops. We had uninterrupted peace to relax in but Samantha was also on hand with useful information & great recommendations to make our trip even more enjoyable. The property was clean, comfortable & just what we needed for our first holiday in 6 years. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Lovely clean house with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Spring Lodge is a lovely property. It's clean, well organised & has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Fantastic property with everything that you need nice quiet location the host ... Fantastic property with everything that you need nice quiet location the host was very informative with places to visit and eat
Property requires some improvement such as better shower facility, current ones in my opinion are not adequate.
Lindsay
A very nice house, the maintenance man on site could not have been more friendly and helpful with local information. Comfortable beds, great facilities, loved the log fire. Lots of space for the dogs, a secure garden, and dog snacks left out as a welcome gift. Also there were farm fresh eggs and a cake for us to enjoy. The TV sound did struggle when we watched action or science fiction movies, but that may not be an issue for others. Despite the house being very clean there were a fair few flying insects around which did collect on the windows sills during our stay. We werent really bothered by them, but realise that some people might be. Overall though a very enjoyable, relaxing and quiet place to stay which is only 15 minutes away from gorgeous beaches.
Christine
We loved Spring Lodge. A really comfortable house that felt like home. I especially enjoyed the hot tub. Very well cared for property by both the cleaner and maintainable man, Jeremy who was also lovely to talk to. I think that this was the best Sykes property we have stayed in. Could have made use of more crockery such as casserole and serving dishes.
Had the most amazing time here! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable. The house is so clean and welcoming. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need, even BBQ utensils. There is a chest freezer in a really useful size utility room. The beds were so comfy, pillows felt like sleeping on clouds, according to the teens and they also loved the great WIFI reception. Lovely enclosed safe garden with a private hot tub. As the weather was so beautiful we asked if there was an umbrella available, one was ordered and delivered to us. Nothing was too much trouble! Its so peaceful, just what you need to unwind. The groundsman is so friendly and helpful, hes lovely to chat with and can tell you so much about the place. There is good access to Bude and North Devon lots of great beaches to visit and fun days out. We REALLY didn't want to leave!! Book a holiday here you wont regret it!
Claire
We have just returned from a week's stay and without a doubt would thoroughly recommend booking here. ..we didn't want to come home! The owners have thought of every comfort you may need. We truly wouldn't change anything. Everything that was left for us to use from the bedding, towels and kitchen equipment was of high quality, even family games were provided. The property is set in lovely quiet surroundings overlooking fields to the sea beyond and so peaceful. The hot tub is a wonderful addition and just what you need after a day on one of the lovely nearby beaches. We even met the property manager who was so helpful. This property truly is a gem and so glad we found it.
