We had a fantastic week. Stormy weather and 'flu virus did not put a dampener on our stay. Very peaceful and quite secluded. Gardens to walk around. Lots of birds to watch out for, deer and rabbits! Owners have thought of everything, supplying what you need for your stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and the querky accommodation just for 2. We cooked mos t of our meals for the week, including Sunday roast. We treated ourselves to a Chinese take-away meal for 2 from Kilkhampton. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival we found a welcome pack which included milk, biscuits and even a bottle of wine. There is everything you need. All you need to bring is the food you would like to cook and some swimmers for the hot tub. The owners are really friendly and were there to welcome us upon arrival. Would one hundred percent recommend this lovely shepherd's h ut. When the wind was blowing and rain lashing down couldn't have been in a better place chilling and warming my toes on the wood burner.

If youre looking to get away, really get away! No WiFi, little phone signal, beautifully quiet with no light pollution. This is the spot for you! Lovely and cosy, toasty warm with all the amenities you need to rustle up breakfast, lunch or supper. Walking distance to the pub, shop or a cream tea. Wonderful walks gentle or more strenuous, you choose . Hot tub to jump in with a glass of wine at the end of the day, fabulous hosts, what more could you possibly want
