About Summerfield House with Hot Tub

This spacious house is attached to another holiday property, in a quiet location, in the small traditional fishing village of Gorran Haven just three miles from the ever popular village and port of Mevagissey. Perfectly situated for touring the delightful Roseland Peninsula in this unspoilt area of Cornwall, this delightful property is ideal for families.

Passing the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan on the way to Gorran Haven you will now be well off the beaten track but close enough to easily access the major tourist attractions in the county. As you enter this ideal family house you are immediately taken with the spacious feel that exudes throughout.

The large open plan living area is designed for all the family to be together with a well-equipped kitchen and utility room, comfortable dining area and super reclining sofas for total relaxation. Next to the living room is the children's play/games room, complete with table tennis.

There are three nicely furnished bedrooms here, with 2 x double beds and a superb large master bedroom offering a super-king and single for all the family. The master also has an extra-large balcony overlooking the garden with extensive countryside views.

Outside the big garden with ample room for the children to play and the adults to relax on the decked area is easily accessed from the French doors in the living room. The hot tub is in a peaceful location in the garden with views across to the fields, a perfect place to unwind after a busy day.

Sitting in a valley, Gorran Haven has a delightful cluster of fishermen's cottages nestling round a secluded cove sheltered by Dodman Point with the beach offering some of the safest bathing in Cornwall. Being located on the coastal path the village is also an ideal location for walkers with stunning walks in each direction.

We really enjoyed staying at Summerfield house. The facilities were fantastic. It was a large property which all the family enjoyed. We particularly liked the games room and the garden. It was a homely comfortable property and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

It was an extremely pleasant experience which gave us the break we needed. The house was brilliant and the owners were extremely helpful and very nice people who could not do enough for us.

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre - PL15 8EU

Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.    
Tintagel Castle - PL34 0HE

Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cornwall and is an excellent place for a family day out. Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. The Castle and grounds also provide a home for many species of wildlife as well as some amazing flora and fauna. The site also has a small visitor's centre with souvenir shop and a wonderful Beach Café.
