The Hay Barn Reviews

Wonderful place to stay! The property is clean, spacious, and perfectly located for exploring nearby towns like Ripon, Thirsk, Harrogate, and York. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely stay at the Hay Barn, it has been beautifully refurbished. All the rooms were finished to a high standard, were comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is in a beautiful part of the country for nice walks and the hot tub is perfect for relaxing when you get back.

Very beautifully presented accommodation. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We've been staying in holiday cottages for 20 years and this was easily the nicest place we've stayed in. The extras like dog bowl and blanket, dishwasher tabs, washing pods, milk, t bags etc. were very welcome. Everything has been thought of. The location is very quiet and rural, we loved it. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to return in the future.

Hay Barn is an absolutely beautiful cottage with every comfort provided. It is fresh, clean and modern, very spacious and light. We are a family of four adults and really appreciated all having our own en suite. We brought our dog who was also well catered for. Nice enclosed garden to the rear with a wonderful hot tub which we loved relaxing in every evening. So many lovely touches that made our stay excellent. Lovely fluffy towelling robes and hooks on the fence next to the hot tub to make it more comfortable when we had to leave the hot tub. Lovely quiet location but lots of things to do in the area if you want to venture out. We mostly went to Hay Barn to relax and we really did, couldve stayed so much longer and would love to return.
A beautifully finished and well equipped holiday cottage, ideally situated to access North Yorkshire and all it has to offer. We had a lovely few days away and The Hay Barn was the perfect place to retreat to after a busy day exploring. The hot tub was the perfect temperature to soak our aching muscles. We couldnt have asked for more!
