A rather quirky cottage which was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Master bedroom is large with a huge comfy bed. The twin room is also a good size. Nice bathroom with a great shower. The little garden over the road was a very handy place to walk our dog. The farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous. It is ideal for families and dogs. Taller people need to duck under doorways but apart from that, it was lovely! Road outside is busy but we got used to it very quickly (we are from a quiet village so not the norm for us). Lastly, the hostess and partner could not do enough for us. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay! The traditional farm house was clean and spacious and it had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing week away with our 3 dogs. Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.

The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Tintagel Castle - PL34 0HE

This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
Adrenaline Quarry - PL14 5AE
