Waves End is an impressive, 1870’s townhouse perched on the Cornish coast of ST Ives, offering the perfect seaside escape. With its stunning sea views, hot tub and close proximity to a beach and local amenities, guests can enjoy an idyllic holiday surrounded by the beauty of St Ives, whether it’s a getaway with friends or a family holiday.

Step inside and you'll be greeted by an open-plan living space, the heart of the home showcasing the sea views, where you can whip up some delicious meals in the fabulous kitchen to enjoy around the dining table or curl up on the sofa in the sitting area for a movie night. If you like to break away now and then, there is an additional sitting room, perfect for winding down in the evenings with a good book.

Finishing off the ground floor is a handy utility where you can freshen up your wardrobe throughout your stay. When it's time to rest your head, Waves End has four beautifully-appointed bedrooms - a super-king-size boasting unbeatable sea views, 2 king-size and a twin - 3 of which have a TV so you can enjoy lazy mornings with your favourite shows, one of the king-size rooms has an en-suite for added convenience.

To freshen up, there is a bathroom and a cloakroom on the first floor, as well as a handy ground-floor shower room so there is plenty of space to get ready for a day of exploring. When the sun is shining, make the most of the beautiful Cornish weather in the enclosed, split level terrace; soak in the hot tub, dine at the outdoor furniture, or simply sit and enjoy your morning coffee in the courtyard.

St Ives is surrounded by sandy beaches and this picturesque traditional fishing village is set around an arc shaped working harbour, with cobbled streets filled with shops, cafes, and art galleries; the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden is a popular choice where you'll discover a collection of contemporary pieces to admire. If you want to explore the local wildlife and amazing coastal setting on foot, the South West Coast Path heads towards Zenor in one direction and the Hayle Estuary and Carbis Bay Beach in the other.

Attractions Near Waves End

Paradise Park - TR27 4HY

Paradise Park first opened its doors in Cornwall in 1973 and has been one of the regions top attractions ever since. What was once just a tropical bird garden is now a refuge for many different species of animal and aims to be educational as well as fun for its visitors. The inhabitants include some typical UK creatures including Otters, and Red Squirrels as well as some more unusual and rare animals including Red Pandas. Younger children will enjoy meeting the friendly animals in the farm area. The site has recently been extended and now also has a fantastic Jungle Barn where kids can let of steam.    
The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery - TQ5 9HG

The Rock Gardens Caves and Nursery have an amazing setting in the old Palace Quarry. The gardens offer an abundance of trees, plants and floral displays including a very grand 80ft Elm Tree and a stunning Weeping Ash. The site also offers a large carp pond, a breathtaking illuminated cave and a tea room serving tasty local produce.
Flambards Experience Cornwall - TR13 0QA

A fantastic attraction with something for everyone.  Combining rides, activities and exhibitions it's all here in the one place. Look out for seasonal events too such as the Fire in the Sky event on 27th October 2010 - discount advance tickets are available for most of the events so don't forget to check out their website.  Some of the most popular thrill rides include the first Twisting Droptower in the UK called the Skyraker 001.  The Hornert Rollercoaster is also not to be missed.
Land's End - TR19 7AA

Land's End is one of Britain's best loved landmarks with its unique location offering breathtaking scenery and great natural splendour. The site has been developed to offer five family friendly attractions including an exhibition centre currently showing a fantastic Dr Who exhibition - a must for fans of the show. Other attractions include Scull Rock - A 4D film experience and Greeb Farm - A small animal farm which is sure to be a big hit with younger children. Inclusive tickets for all attractions are excellent value with a family of four costing just £25.00
Newquay Zoo - TR7 2NN

The award winning Newquay Zoo makes a fun family day out in North Cornwall.  With over 130 different species of animals to see and plenty of fun activities for the kids this attraction is ideal.  Recent additions to the zoo include the African Savanna and the Madagascan Walkthrough exhibit.  Kids will love the play area, face painting, tarzan trail and animal encounters.  Different events tale place throughout the year such as the Halloween Zoo Boo family fun event on 31st October.
Dairyland Farm World - TR8 5AA

Open from end March to end October this is a lovely attraction suited to families with kids of all ages.  You don't need to worry about the weather either as this is an all weather attraction with the addition of soft play areas and a ball pool for the little ones.  Some of the highlights include the Bull Pen indoor play area, the Raging Bulls Ride, Pat-aPet and the Mini tractors.  Of course there is also the opportunity to get up close to the farm animals and try some bottle feeding.
Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre - PL15 8EU

Springfields Fun Park & Pony Centre offers a day full of action and adventure for all the family come rain or shine. If the weather is good then children can take advantage of the vast open space to run around and play, enjoy pony rides, train rides, trampolines and Go-Karts and explore the nature trails. If the weather is not on your side then the huge play barn is the place to head and as climbing frames, slides, ball pool and rope swings as well as a baby and toddler area.
