We had a wonderful time staying at Old Rectory View. It was like a home from home. We were initially worried about being in the middle of nowhere, but we were surprised at how quickly we adapted to the peace and tranquil surroundings. It is situated in an ideal place, not far from the beaches. We didn't have to drive more than 45 mins to see all th e sights. The house is beautiful and the children loved the garden, hot tub and the dogs (Barley and Waffle) that live next door.

We loved staying here. The surroundings were beautiful and only a short drive to the coast or local pubs. It was the best equipped holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Everything was quality and the beds really comfortable. Owners were super friendly and helpful. We also loved the welcome package of home made cake and freshly laid eggs. We hope to return soon. Thank you.

Beautiful, light and airy accommodation with plenty of space for a family. Has the benefit of feeling like you are away from it all, hidden in the countryside but you are no more than 15 minutes from stunning beaches and idyllic towns. Very welcoming and accommodating owners with a lovely presented cottage.
Chris
Lovely rural location. Very quiet and relaxing place to stay which makes a good spot to drive out to many attractions in Dorset and the surrounding area. The house was extremely nice, very clean and spacious. Had all the equipment you would need for a "home away from home". Very nice touches from the very welcoming and friendly owners, such as a lo vely welcome pack including some excellent Rocky Road brownies and home grown vegetables!

We had the absolute best time here! This holiday accommodation is some of the most spacious and well equipped we have ever stayed in. Beautiful views, amazingly peaceful and our boys loved the hot tub, they used it every day. Whilst local attractions are not on your doorstep everything is easily reachable by car in under 30 minutes and we spent lot s of time in West Bay, Lime Regis and Charmouth. Highly recommend this lovely place and it's hosts.
Andy
Wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location close to Dorchester and coast. Private gardens were delightful as were the brownies on arrival. Big thanks to Dom and Pomme for their hospitality. Highly recommended.
Eileen
Much larger property than appears on the website photos. Very comfortable. Excellent beds, quality bedding and towels. Nice touch providing separate towels for the spa tub. Pomme and Dom discreet hosts. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. Well equipped kitchen. Property well looked after and clean. Property is 'off the beaten track' on single track r oads but not busy, so easy to get to and you do get used to it very quickly. Very close to West Bay and Dorchester not too far.
Stephen
Arrived back home yesterday afternoon after a weeks stay - from the minute going up the drive we thought this looks special and it didn't change when entering the door Immaculately presented with excellent taste in furnishings and decor- the views from almost every window was priceless of the surrounding Dorset countryside. Having spent a lot of ti me travelling around the south and south west in view of the current travel madness I have no qualms in saying I think Dorset country side wins out
