The cottage is lovely and very well furnished with all the necessary requirements for self catering. This is an ideal setting for a relaxing stress free stay. The hot tub just adds the icing to the cake. We booked two evening meals and a full English Breakfast with Lou and they were excellent value for money. Lovely cottage and hosts very friendly. The food cooked by Mrs holmes and delivered to cottage is a must very tasty and good size portions. Hot tub a bonus when weather not so great, and wii for the kids. The site has a lovely hut where you can buy jam or get information did a 2 hour walk around the countryside from the cottage. Location is good to ok 50min to go to Eden project. Trethorne park 15min away was brilliant for kids and great value. Lyford gorge also a great waterfall walk too.

We had a particularly warm day and decided to stay at the cottage with our dog Button who would have struggled with walking in the heat. We took full advantage of the hot tub and lovely garden. 2nd visit in 9 months, and if that's not enough of a recommendation then not sure what else could be. The little cottage is perfectly sited to enable you to get the best of both Devon & Cornwall. Beautifully appointed, equipped and maintained. Special recommendation is having a comprehensive menu available, so much nicer after a long drive to get t here to find everything you need, & then have a lovely meal cooked for you. Tintagel Castle - PL34 0HE

Tintagel Castle is one of the most iconic landmarks in Cornwall and is an excellent place for a family day out. Situated on the stunning Cornish Coast the Castle has a mystical and magical presence and is steeped in historical importance. Indeed the Legend of King Arthur was born right here. This attraction is really unique in that you have the opportunity to gain a rare insight into a working sanctuary.  You can see first hand all of the fantastic work carried out as well as seeing the monkeys themselves.  Other popular areas of this attraction include the Bat Cave and Wildlife Room. the Wildlife Gardens and the kids play area.  There is something for everyone at The Monkey Sanctuary and you can also sponsor and donate if you wish.  The cost to adopt a monkey is from just £2 a month.
Milky Way Adventure Park - EX39 5RY

The Eden Project - PL24 2SG

The Eden Project is a fantastic local attraction in Cornwall which will appeal to families and couples.  From the moment you step through the entrance it's clear that this is no ordinary attraction.  All under one roof you will find a giant rainforest, Horticulture courses, rock climbing, ice skating and an arts cafe.  Not all of these activities are on at one time, they are staggered throughout the year so check out the website to see what's available when you plan to visit.  Autumn at Eden is very popular with events such as daily apple pressing and Time Changing Tales (story telling with an autumn theme).
