We had a really lovely visit to Poole Farm. The hosts were so nice, and the option to order food was fabulous (and delicious). We had a particularly warm day and decided to stay at the cottage with our dog Button who would have struggled with walking in the heat. We took full advantage of the hot tub and lovely garden. Well be back.

Probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in! Really well kept, clean, well equipped, comfortable+++. Added bonus is Lou's excellent cooking with meals available to order with 24 hours notice - recommend the lasagne and the chilli and best of all, lemon cheesecake. Only slight reservation for us was distance to amenities - about 3 - 4 miles from Launceston. That said this is a great location for visiting different parts of Devon and Cornwall
John

Gregg and Louise are perfect hosts and the home cooked meals are lovely. We had a Sunday roast which was scrummy ! We will definitely return. Thank you.
Tara
I highly recommend staying at Poole Farm. Greg and Lou are the perfect hosts and the cottage is a slice of heaven. Wonderful location, powerful shower, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean throughout and a real feel of quality. Wonderful walks for the dog (and the human) from your front door and dogs are welcomed, not just permitted. Secure garden so you can allow your 4 legged friend out while you luxuriate in the hot tub. I would love to return.
Leigh
A wonderful stay with a scenic view of the country side. We were made to feel very welcome including our furry, four legged friend. Everything had been thought of, the kitchen had everything + more! Hot tub was glorious The lady of the establishment is a fantastic cook and all our meals were delicious and fresh. Surrounding areas network available ity wasnt great but theres nothing can be done about that! All locals were welcoming and friendly. More than home from home, didnt want to leave!
Sharni
We had such a lovely stay at Journeys End and Lou and Greg were extremely welcoming. The cottage is cosy and very well equipped and the personal touches (including dog biscuit) went along way and the hot tub is an added bonus! We ordered from Lous menu for 2 evenings and the food was absolutely delicious, so I definitely recommend. I would not hesi tate to stay here again in future
