We had a lovely time staying at Valley Lodge 23. The lodge was very comfortable and the hot tub was lovely. However there were a few things that we were not impressed with in the twin room, we found an incontinence pad which was too heavy to be clean from the previous guest which made us concerned that it hadnt been cleaned in between very well. the bedding was all very stained, so following finding the pad we were concerned on cleanliness again the outside light back didnt work, so we had to sit in the hot tub in the dark the lamp in the twin room did not have a bulb the smoke detector in the twin room was disconnected and the detector was just placed on the steps there were no saucepans of normal size to use the main bathroom shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold, and we couldnt get it to a normal level The heating and fire upstairs were lovely once we phoned the owner as it wasnt working and the tv had access to all apps which was a luxury.
