Glyn Ewryd Reviews

Geoffrey
We had a very enjoyable stay at Glyn Ewryd and proved to be ideally situated for touring Anglesey The property is as shown on your profile and we had a Comfortable relaxing time. The grandchildren particularly liked the trampoline and hot tub. The Ring pub is only a very short walk and provides a good menu.
Kirstie
Beautiful house and grounds. Easy to find and a great location on the island. Hosts were friendly and responsive to our questions and requests. Really enjoyed our stay
Christine
The party consisted of group of '60something' adults gathering for a University Reunion! We had a lovely time on Ynys Mon Glyn Ewryd was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and suited us perfectly. Everything was as described in the listing. We were welcomed with a freshly baked cake and enough basic provisions to make a cup of teacoffee on our arrival. The Hot Tub was well used by some of the group and hence required required a bit of maintenance during our stay the owner responded quickly to our messages and attended promptly. The house was located in a peaceful setting surrounded by farmland. What I, for one, didn't expect to see were the great views when the weather was bright! from the Kitchen Window tip of Llyn Alaw and from the Back Bedroom & Patio the mountains of Eryri Snowdonia over on the mainland.
The house was just as it shows in the information. The hot tub and trampoline were a huge hit . The owner left a huge sponge cake which was delicious and a bottle of milk. We had a meal as a take away from the Ring pub which is opposite the house. The beach at Treath is sandy ,has toilets and a cafe the grandchilden 3,6,9,13 all had a wonderful time there. Beaumaris castle is worth a visit and has a brilliant play park for children. The weekend was not long enough Thank you Mal

Absolutely gorgeous house. This was our second time staying here and it didn't disappoint. The weather wasn't on our side this time but we still found plenty to do. Wonderful kitchen with everything you could possibly need. We made use of the fantastic garden and hottub. Fabulous bedrooms and the choice of three sitting areas within the house. Plenty of room for 2 families to stay comfortably.
The House is beautiful and the views are amazing. We are already looking to book again. The hosts are very welcoming and on hand if you need anything. We were left milk and cake which we thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely house & garden. The facilities very good. The family wanted a base so we could go Snowdon, Quarry zip wire & other activities not too far away. Very quiet area & stunning views in the area.
This is now our second time staying at Glyn Ewryd, and have had a fabulous break with extended family in Anglesey, the house is great and there is plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing if needed, great garden for the kids the play in, and the hot tub is an ideal way to recover from a dip in the Irish sea!
Belinda
We had amazing family time. The house and grounds were amazing. Lovely and clean and supplied with everything needed. We would love to come back.
A lovely holiday property in beautiful surroundings. Plenty of space for 10 adults and well located for fabulous coastal walks. The owner was very responsive. Great hot tub too.
This property was just amazing. We loved every minute of our stay in this immaculate house. The owner couldnt have done any more for us, even baking us a delicious cake on our arrival. We are always planning our next trip! Thank you so much
We had a lovely stay at Glyn Ewryd. Clean and well appointed, plenty of room for everyone. Mari was very responsive and sorted our queries promptly, she also baked us a lovely cake! We had a fabulous meal at Lastra Farm only 10 minutes away and highly recommend. The Ring pub is a 5 minute walk from the property, nice bar food and good selection of drinks. Diolch Yn fawr Mari & Dyfed

We had a wonderful stay in this heavenly cottage. Mari, our host , kindly baked a huge cake to welcome us and was very patient with our questions. The cottage was very well equipped, the beds were lovely and comfy, having two lounges and a conservatory was an absolute luxury. We are looking forward to coming back at some point and will be recommending this place to all our friends.

Lovely large property ideal for 2 families on holiday. Well located, for those prepared to drive to the many hidden beaches, inlets and historic sites of Anglesey. Nice pub nearby. Great hottub, couldnt get the kids out. Lack of tumble dryer more than compensated for by v warm conservatory, perfect for drying clothes. V well equipped kitchen. 3 fridges! Clean. Spacious. Lovely.
Lovely clean house with lots of facilities e. G. Hot tub, trampoline, big kitchen with lots of pots, pans and utensils. Lots of space for all the extended family 8 Adults, 2 teenager, 2 children and a baby. Enjoyed the beautiful views from the conservatory. The welcome cake was enjoyed by everyone too. Thank you
We had a wonderful week at Glyn Ewryd. It accommodated our extended family perfectly and we were sad to leave as we had only just got to know all that Anglesey offers. The hot tub was a great favourite as was the lovely large secluded garden, great for the little ones, where they could bounce off excess energy on the trampoline. The two year old loved seeing the farmer herding sheep outside our door and bullocks along the Lane. The Bell Inn was really handy and so near for those old enough, to sneak off for a quiet one. We also had a great family meal there. The leisure centre was also very handy for a morning swim. Our host Mari was very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Her complimentary cake was amazing. I cantt recommend it highly enough.
Plenty of space, crockery etc. Great place for a family holiday
We had the best stay at this property what a beautiful house! Everywhere was spotless, the hot tub was lovely plenty of room inside and outside! The owner left fresh milk and a cake for us on arrival very thoughtful touch. All of us had the best weekend and we hope we can come back in the future. Diolch yn fawr iawn

Lovely place to stay with family and children of all ages. Everything that we needed was there and we all had a wonderful break.
Had a great long weekend with friends at Glyn Ewryd! The house was clean, well maintained, had plenty of space for us and everything we needed including a lovely brownie cake left for us by Mari the owner! She was also available for any questions we had. Location is lovely, we enjoyed the hot tub and also a trip to the local pub.
Absolutely amazing cottage, peaceful surroundings when relaxing in the hot tub or just seating in the garden. Pub stones throw away, no noise to be heard, we had amazing food there and staff really friendly. Host had thought of everything for a self catering cottage including plastic cupglasses and plates to use outside. Opportunities bigger living room could do with a lamp or 2 instead of just the main lights and hooks would be good on bedroombathroom doors.
Alison
Such a lovely place we had the best weekend
Loved the house and all it had to offer. Homeowner was in touch regularly to check everything was OK.
Rachel
This is a wonderful property and perfect for a group or family of 12, plenty of space and a perfect setting
2 families staying for a New Year break. Fabulous house and accommodating to all our needs. Beds very comfy, kitchen was amazing, the 2 lounges are also comfortable. My only criticism is that the lounges didnt have any lamps, other than a very small one in the bigger lounge, so we used some from the bedrooms, not really a problem but lamps are needed I think. Hot tub was fab, the owner came mid week to check it to make sure it was tip top. A lovely cake, chocolates and a gift of olives was left by the owner which was a great surprise. I can see the owner takes a lot of pride with this accommodation and it was definitely one of the better cottages Ive stayed in. So fabulous all round. Thank you again Mari for a fabulous stay.
Kirsten
This property is amazing. There was 10 of us altogether and there was plenty of room. The only small tiny thing I would say is that some rooms do need updating, there is paint coming off the walls etc but to me they a minor things. The owners are amazing, we were welcomed with a home baked cake & cream and Mari couldnt do enough for us if we had a question.
Fantastic house for large family. Very clean and well stocked with everything you could need. 6 very spacious bedrooms and Downstairs bedroom perfect for the less mobile. Great location with great pub serving good food 2mins walk and 10mins drive to local shops. Perfect for multigenerational holiday. Extremely lovely owner who baked us a cake on arrival and brought us fresh farm eggs during our stay. Thank you Mari.
Danielle
12 ladies headed here for a fitness weekend, we worked out, ate great food, and relaxed all whilst having fun. We put the hot tub to good by easing our muscles, all of the group said the rooms where comfortable. A gorgeous property with everything be needed, the additional fridge in the 2nd sitting room was a blessing. We had the BEST time Thankyou
Graham
Immaculate property located in a perfect area for touring the island of Anglesey Ynys Mon. Facilities are excellent with enough bedrooms & bathrooms for whole family.
Raymond
The property is perfect for a multigenerational family holiday. It has all the facilities you need and is in very good order. Any issues are very speedily dealt with. The house reception and dining areas are appropriate for the occupation numbers. All the rooms are good sizes. It is a pretty house with an extensive private lawned area to the front, a patio area with a good sized hot tub and plenty of parking area. It is convenient for Cemaes and Lligwy beaches both safe for small children. The pub, The Ring, which is 50 yards away, is good for both beers and food.
Jennifer
We had a fantastic week. Glyn Ewryd was a beautiful house, that far exceeded all of our expectations. Lots of room to spread out or get together, as needed. Loved the hot tub and the teenagers spent lots of time on the trampoline! The house was so clean and Mari, the owner, so helpful and friendly we thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate cake that she left for us. Wouldn't hesitate to return had the best week! Thank you.

Beautiful, well appointed, comfortable house. Very clean and well maintained both inside and out. Extremely helpful owner who took the time to make personal contact to give additional information and provided essentials eg milk, goodies, eggs and homemade cake! Would highly recommend and stay again in the future.

Fabulous place for families, cleanliness outstanding, comfy beds, log burner, hot tub and the owner Mari, very helpful easy to contact with any issue. The grounds are lovely and picturesque, you can see the rooks and hear the owls. We took a telescope and enjoyed the darker skies. The pub across the road, The Ring, was very good try the dragon pie. No local delivery for takeways but Amlwch has several you can collect from 8 minute drive. Beautiful part pf the world. Thanks Mari. The Rhodes, the Andersons and the Baxters.
