The property was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There were also plenty of children's games as well as the Games room. We had a lovely time. In Meadowside, lots of space, very secure garden for our dogs and they had a great time racing around together. Bedding is a lovely quality. Cooking needs to be planned if you want to use Read morethe oven, allow over an hour for it to warm up but the hob and microwave are fine. We had a wonderful time and would come again. Hide

We absolutely loved this house. Our rescue dog loved the large, fully enclosed garden (he sat outside for much of the time), and the utility room was really useful when coming and going from dog walks - we kept our outdoor boots, coats, dog leads and dog towels here. As others have mentioned the range oven does take time to get up to temperature (aRead moret least 2 hrs) so meals need a little planning ahead. The kitchen is well stocked (even a coffee machine) and the space in the bedrooms is amazing. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay, the house was very comfortable & well equipped. We loved the views and great to be able to walk straight from the house out to the coastal path. And very convenient for getting to Sheringham or Cromer for trips out.
Jane
Lovely property and perfect location. We walked into Sherringham a number of times. Norfolk is so pretty, will definitely be visiting again
Michael
Lovely property and location. Quiet, secluded field to the side excellent for dogs. The owner was kind enough to let us take 3 and the garden was secure. The outside furnishings were excellent, the hot tub included.Inside there is just about everything you need. The only gripe was the very complicated oven that took forever to heat up and to cook a nything. Overall this is the best holiday home our family have had.
Bill
The house was very good, ideal for what we needed and was situated in a perfect location however we have only given you 4 stars for cleanliness due to a toe nail clipping being found in one of the bedsheets.
Stephen
Stayed for a week in this lovely house with our grown-up kids and in-laws...6 adults in total. Loads of space inside and out and well appointed with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Fully enclosed garden (front and rear) was perfect for dogs...no worry about them escaping. The property is located at the end of a gravel driv eway with amazing views across the churchyard to Beeston Bump and the sea beyond. We enjoyed long coastal walks, the local pub and tea house. 10/10.
Julie
Great house, lovely garden & hot tub. Very private too. Great access to the coastal path & walks from the door.
Natalee
Went to Meadowside over Easter and thoroughly enjoyed our week's family holiday. The house is beautiful. The hot tub and pool table were a big hit for my teenagers. The local tea rooms is gorgeous but do recommend booking. We walked daily into.Sheringham via the unmade footpaths which was only 15 minutes. There is a big play field by the house whic h is great too. My only gripe was the oven which needed to be on for 2 hrs minimum prior to cooking.
Zoey
We will definitely stay here again everything was perfect x
Peter
A lovely house in a lovely location. Quiet and peaceful. The village of West Runton has a lovely tea-room and Cromer and Sheringham are an easy walk away.
Janet
We had a fabulous long weekend here with the whole family for a special birthday celebration. The house was nicely furnished and had everything we needed with the added benefit of the spa pool and pool table. for entertainment. There are also lots of great coastal walks on the doorstep, we would definitely return again.

Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Found a special day out near your cottage? Please let us know and we'll add it so that other visitors can enjoy it too!
Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 2 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 9 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 16 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 16 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 18 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 29 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
