Milliners Lodge Reviews

John
Beautiful location with fantastic accomadation. The owners made it feel like home from home so we could relax as soon as we walked through the door. The welcome pack was very clear and made fonding the lodge and getting entry very easy. The welcome pack with juice snd a few treats was also very much appreciated. I would hope we get to return for aRead morenother stay, thank you for a wonderful few days. Hide

The lodge is in a lovely setting and I would have liked to be able to score it higher but there were serious issues that need addressing.
Nancy
Lovely comfortable cottage. Well equipped lovely location. Only thing guests information book needs updating with phone numbers.
Christopher
Very well equipped lodge in a beautiful setting, close enough to all the facilities, but far enough away to still be quiet.
Eleanor
Fantastically well-equipped - youve thought of everything! - and so peaceful. The dog loved it, and so did I. Thank you!
Sylvia
A delightful lodge- fully equipped, clean, plenty of room and perfect location for the Heath Centre. Staff around the Centre friendly and helpful. If you like walking and enjoy a peaceful time Kelling Heath Park is the place to be. Should you venture out there is so much to do all within a short drive.
Mac
Extremely well appointed and comfortable lodge in a wonderful area. Close to the centre (where you could access free wifi) but surrounded by trees so very secluded. lots of lovely walks in the surrounding site and all on flat tarmacked walkways for those less mobile. Three steps to access property but my less mobile husband managed them.
Lisa
Very comfy and well equipped lodge, we had a lovely stay.

Please note that some of these activities and days out are paid and it's always a good idea to book in advance to secure your place where applicable.

Sheringham Park - NR26 8TL
about 5 Miles
The National Trust Sheringham Park in Norfolk was designed by Humphry Repton and the book of original designs can still be seen. The park has many attractions including a viewing tower and a gazebo with amazing coastal views, wildlife trails which young children will love and an exhibition barn where visitors can learn the history of the park.
Bishops Boats Seal Trips - NR23 1RY
about 12 Miles
This is a really unique attraction running daily seal watching trips from the middle of March right through to the end of October.  The experienced skippers will lead you out on one of the traditional wooden boats where you will have the chance to see both common and grey seals.  If you love animals then this is one attraction not to be missed! They also do some boat trips combined with guides on dry land such as seal watching combined with a visit to Blakeney Point Nature Reserve, owned by the National Trust.  We think this attraction is excellent value for money as they keep their admission prices low.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 16 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 17 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN
about 18 Miles
if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
Melsop Farm Park - NR20 3DT
about 29 Miles
We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
