Join friends and family for a beachside holiday in this fabulous retreat on the Suffolk coast. The lodge, which sleeps five guests, is set just 100 metres from a delightful sand and shingle beach, and you’ll also be within 11 miles of the much-loved seaside towns of Lowestoft and Southwold.

There are some excellent family attractions nearby, including Africa Alive Zoological Reserve (1.5 miles). The holiday home is one of the larger lodges on a complex of similar properties.

Spread out in the stylish lounge/diner, which is decorated in a contemporary style and enjoys coastal views from its picture window. Relax here after a day at the beach, sharing mealtimes at the dining table, watching the Smart TV, or snuggling up on the sofa in the glow of the wood burner.

An archway leads through to a stylish galley kitchen, with everything you need to rustle up tasty meals for the group. When it’s time for bed, choose from three inviting, coastal-themed bedrooms.

A family bathroom rounds off this gorgeous seaside retreat. Outside, relax in the enclosed garden, where you’ll find furniture and a BBQ for outdoor entertaining.

Sip a glass of wine on the swing seat, soak up the sunshine on the loungers, or rest your weary limbs in the indulgent hot tub. Kessingland boasts a wide, unspoilt beach that’s ideal for peaceful picnics and tranquil morning walks along the shoreline.

The Suffolk Coast Path also passes through the village, should you fancy a longer jaunt with breathtaking views. Heading inland, the picturesque village of Oulton Broad is 6 miles away.

Known as the eastern gateway to the Broads, it’s the perfect place for getting out on the water, whether that’s on one of the river cruises or perhaps by hiring a kayak or paddleboard to explore the waterways.
