The Lemon Tree Reviews

James
We really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space both inside and outside, which was perfect. There’s a nice pub in the village, but it’s probably best to drive there in the evening. The Duke's Head in Somerleyton is also worth a visit!
James
The place was really comfy and well kitted out, but those towel rails were a letdown.
Emma Carter
Great spot, loved the amenities here!
James
We loved staying here! The hot tub was a real highlightand the wood burner made it super cosy. The location is perfect-peaceful and private, even with other units nearby. Everything you need is providedand we felt really relaxed. Definitely a place we’ll return to someday. Highly recommend!
Alex
The place itself is lovely and had all we needed, but honestly, there isn’t much around to do nearby. We didn’t bother with Yarmouth, it’s a bit of a letdown. We really enjoyed Southwold and Aldeburghand Norwich’s cathedral is stunning. Snape Maltings is worth a visit too, plus we had a great meal at The Village Maid in Lound and loved the coffee at Mardle cafe.
Sarah
Really enjoyed the quiet and the lovely hot tub. It’s quite remote, so a car’s a must since there are no pavements or slow roads.
James
We loved the barn’s cosy feel and stylish decor. Everything was well thought out and high quality. Shame about the cold wind, as we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub. The location’s perfect for exploring nearby countryside!
Sam
We really enjoyed our stay here. The modern equipment was a hitand the hot tub with that lovely view over the field was perfect for relaxing. The grounds, however, could do with a bit more attention, as they’ve looked a bit untidy for a couple of years now. The cleaning was decent, but a deeper clean wouldn’t hurt. The staff, especially Tony and the cleaners, were genuinely lovely and hardworking. We appreciate their efforts and had a great time overall!
Emma
We had an amazing stay! The hot tub was fantastic and kept spotless daily. The underfloor heating made everything so cosy, we barely used the log burner. Perfect spot for a holiday, especially over Christmas. Absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing break!
Charlie Turner
We stayed at the cottage for four nights with four adults and two babies. The place was spotless and beautifully designed, really loved how cosy it felt. Went during winter, which was lovely, but I reckon summer with sunshine and a BBQ would be even better. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of booking. It’s a real gem!
James
The house was really lovely, with a nice modern style but still full of character. We did have a few tiny issues, mostly tech-related, but the team sorted them out super quick and without any hassle. Overall, a great stay!
Emma
We loved the peaceful views and spacious property, perfect for relaxing family getaways, so quiet!
Michael
The cottage is lovely, beautifully decoratedand super cosy. Its location makes exploring lots of places really easy, we loved it!

James
We had an amazing stay! The Lemon Tree’s spot at the back was perfect for privacy, which we really appreciated. Everyone loved it, especially the kids-they’re now desperate for a hot tub at home! Definitely a place we’d visit again. Highly recommend!
James
The place was surprisingly spacious and incredibly clean, located in a peaceful spot close to shops and sights. Perfect for a couple, but there's definitely enough space for a family of four to six. We’d stay again!
Alex Morgan

Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 2 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 7 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 16 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Dinosaur Adventure Park - NR9 5JW
about 27 Miles
This fun family day out has been well planned and we think is certainly worth a visit.  New for 2010 is the PrimEvil at Dinosaur Adventure.  Other fun activities include the Dinosaur Trail, Arachnophobia, the Raptor Races and the adventure play area.  The secret animal garden is also popular.  You can play a role in wildlife conservation and sponsor an animal if you wish.  At the moment if you sign up for their newsletter there is a chance to win a family ticket.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 29 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
