Fantastic bungalow and amazing location loved it
A beautiful place to stay in a very picturesque area. Great views and lovely and quiet. Very great bungalow with great amenities, washer dryer, dish washer, air fryer and of course the hot tub. The field at the side of the house was great for the dog and the children. And very comfortable beds. Thank you

Your website shows 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Where were 2 bathrooms hiding? We had a shower room and a cloakroom with a washbasin and toilet. Even counting the cloakroom as a bathroom that makes 2. Surely you are not counting the hot tub as one?? We recommend avoiding Bryn Teg as their website is inaccurate and disappointing for the 5 adults in our group who had to share 1 shower. We contacted Sykes Cottages re this and had no satisfaction. They did not even return our calls. The hob is underpowered and the electric shower has very low pressure. The redeeming feature was the hot tub.

Bryn Teg is just wonderful coupled with the best hosts , what is not to love? There isn't three bathrooms unless you want to class the gorgeous hot tub as one. Everything there is just what anyone needs if you need a base to explore the beauty of the Berwyns or just want a peaceful holiday.
Our second time here, equally enjoyable as the first. Accommodation clean and comfortable as before. Added a washing machine and an air fryer since our last visit. Stunning scenery and an air fryer... What more do you want
Denise
A lovely home from home. Big enough for our family holiday which consisted of 4 adults, 2 children & 2 dogs. Lovely walks from the doorstep. The hot tub was great as was the HUGE field where the dogs ran wild. Would stay here again if going to this area.
Andrea
Bryn Teg is a stunning property. It has a very homely feel and with the secure field attached that our dog loved, it was the perfect base for our party of 5. Its spacious, the views are stunning and the hot tub is the perfect place to relax. It has everything you need for a holiday. As previous reviews have said, the lane to reach the roperty is very uneven, but you only have to go a short way up it to reach the bungalow.. The entrance to the main parkong area is accessed by a drive at the side of the house. Reviews have said this is verry narrow, we drive a mondeo and although having to be a bit cautious, our car fitted down this driveway. If you are not confident to do this there is a parkong space at the bottom of the garden. I would definotely stay at Bryn Teg again and would recommend it to family and friends. .
Bryn Teg had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our holiday and Eldrydd and Kevin were excellent hosts. The property was spotless and furnished to a very high standard the air fryer and the recent addition of the washing machine were appreciated . The hot tub was a relaxing spot to enjoy the panoramic countryside views and the field adjacent to the property was ideal for our dog to enjoy running around in a safe space. With it's central location Bryn Teg not only provided us with a peaceful retreat but enabled us to explore areas of North Wales that we'd never visited before.
The cottage and grounds are amazing. The hot tub is huge and ideally situated. The view from the conservatory is amazing. Very relaxing place to spend a week.
Very nice place hot tub was amazing the views are beautiful, disappointed no pool table as stated .

Bryn Teg is the perfect place for peace and quiet but on the doorstep for visiting all the beautiful places in Mid Wales. Barmouth, Bala Lake, Llansantffraid. Everything inthe bungalow was like home from home and owners are especially thoughtful. I was very pleased to see the addition of a washing machine as we used this to wash grandson's bedding and clothes. The field was perfect for him to go exploring and the jacuzzi a treat for us. This was our 5th visit and can well recommend and hope to be back again.
Lovely bungalow with stunning mountain views. Location is excellent for exploring. The access to the parking at the rear is extremely narrow and difficult to negotiate but there is alternative parking below which is fine. Suggest you flag up the alternative in the blurb! The owner was wonderfully helpful and can't be praised too highly.
What a beautiful place had the most loveliest 4 days. Has everything we needed. Not one thing bad to add.
Pros Outstanding scenery and location. Modern decor Spacious accommodation Comfy beds and lots of bedroom storage Owners friendly to deal with via text Cons No where in the garden or paddock is secure at all for small dogs, we had to put her on her harness and lead and go out with her every time she needed to go to the toilet. This was very inconvenient, especially as Id phoned Sykes specifically to ask about this and been told it was secure. The driveway is very narrow to get in no mention of this in the listing. We have a VW Golf and it was tight for us. Larger vehicles would really struggle. The majority of the house was clean sinks, floors, furniture etc but small areas have been neglected skirting boards dirty, corners of bathroom dirty, black mould in the shower. The electric shower pressure is very very low. Only one double plug socket with small extension lead in master bedroom, and it wasnt near the mirror for drying hair etc. We had to order a 5m extension lead off Amazon. Only one toilet roll provided in each bathroom, had to buy own extras after that. Also no kitchen roll provided. The front of the hob was damaged has a small jagged chunk out the front, potential injury hazard. Conservatory interior door handle was broken off and just left on the side step daughter got trapped inside twice. External front door, conservatory exterior door and bathroom window all need adjusting difficult to shut operate. Being picky just so owners can improve issues so future guests are aware before they book.
Lovely bungalow. Hot tub was great. Bottle of wine was much appreciated. Very clean and well equipped.
I stayed here with friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. Had an absolute blast. The accommodation was very welcoming, clean and cosy with the lovely log burner. Hot tub was great at night time, lovely and hot and watching the stars. The views are amazing. Definitely going to go back!!
Over all cottage was nice, parking is tight as mentioned, we have a kia sportarge and was tight to fit. Cottage inside is nice, but lack of washing machine is a big let down, and should be one there. Floor in kitchen needs looking at as gaps in laminate. Overall nice stay just needs some tweeking and it's items and would be amazing

This is our 2nd visit to Bryn Teg and we will definitely visit again. The cottage is beautiful, clean and spacious. The enclosed field is perfect for our dog and there are gorgeous views all around. We stayed with twin 1 year olds and it was perfect for them too. The cottage is near to local attractions and we enjoyed a day at the waterfalls and Bala. Kevin and Eldrydd are very helpful and the finish touches they leave around the cottage are very thoughtful.
Excellent accommodation, beautiful setting. Only downfall was only 1 shower available
A really lovely property that completely met our expectations. A great location with beautiful views. The owners had also left really useful information alongside some very thoughtful welcome gifts.
William
Beautiful views from the bungalow, and it is in a stunning position. Generally well equipped and the field and the hot tub were real bonuses. We were a little disappointed there was no washing machine or, more importantly, a drier. The weather was wet every day and with two dogs to dry and our wet walking clothes it was a struggle to get everything dry. We were just two people and a family of 4 or 6 would find it impossible. The other thing we would have appreciated was a duvet and a duvet cover that were the same size a superking cover on a king duvet is just very irritating!
We had a very relaxing few days at this beautiful location. The bungalow is well kept and extremely clean. The hot tub is the deal breaker. Highly recommended
Lovely bungalow very clean and tidy with everything you need. Stunning location and great to have the field for our dog to run in.
Amanda
Beautiful holiday home with all the desired facilities. Modern, clean and comfortable. Owner was so welcoming and friendly i love how the owners are so warm and welcoming and even left a welcome bottle of wine, chocolates dotted around for the kidsnand a bottle of milk for our arrival. Love the powerful hot tub in good working order. Padock made it extra special as dog could run free and kids could play cricket in the field. Nice location as just over an hours drive to Snowdon. Friendly local pub. Beautiful scenery on your doorstep. Have recommended to friends and family. Couldnt be happier... Will be back!
Rebecca
What a lovely place to spend a week. A very well equipped, clean, modern property. The most comfortable holiday home bed I've ever slept in, and I'm very fussy! The views are breathtaking, sitting on the conservatory in the rain taking it in was certainly a great way to relax. The hot tub when the sun came out was wonderful, and the field was a huge hit with our Cavapoo. So many lovely places to visit near by. A wonderful week with the family in a great location.
Wow absolutely brilliant stay! Perfect for a relaxing weekend away with the children and 2 big dogs. Everything on hand we could need, including a very large fully enclosed acre paddock to let the dogs run and children. Beautiful scenery and hot tub not overlooked. Will definitely book again, as well as recommending all our family friends. Thanks again x
Wonderful holiday. Bungalow clean and comfortable. Owners Kevin and El lovely people. Scenery stunning. Would definitely return.
Rachel
As the rental holds upto 6 guests, it could really do with a washer dryer and with a bit of reorganising next to the dishwasher I think this could be possible. During the summer months some comfy garden chairs would be lovely, as it has a lovely sun spot or perhaps some pads for the furniture that is provided. The road which is actually a bridle path leading up to the property is terrible and really needs maintaining, as it could cause serious damage to a car, also the access onto the main road is dangerous and could perhaps do with a convex mirror. The field for a game of rounderscricket or just for your four legged freinds is amazing. The garden was secure for our dog but the lock does need adjusting on the single gate down the side of the property as without a brick it does open. The hottub is wonderful, but there's only two hooks for a six seater hot tub to hang your towels on!! Beds and furniture were comfortable for us. The saniflow toilet could perhaps do with an extractor fan and the noise of the saniflow toilet does make you jump on occasions. Other than that a lovely hoiliday was had by all, lovely water sports to be done at Lake Vyrnwy with a nice coffee shop and parking. Nice Indian takeawayrestaurant about 10 minutes drive.
Annette
Had an absolutely amazing time, loved your cottage. Everything you could need and fabulous gardens & field, totally enclosed for the dog. Hot tub beautiful on an evening looking up at the hills. Cottage very clean, well equipped and in a gorgeous location. Excellent welcome book with areas to visit, went to a number of them and all brilliant. Harlech beach a must if you fancy a day at the coast, dog friendly too. Visited New Inn a few times, recommend the pie. Thank you so much and will definitely come back.

Bryn Teg made our holiday absolutely fabulous. We are visiting Wales a number of years with my family and always looking for a unique place to stay. Bryn Teg is an isolated little gem surrounding by the beautiful landscape. We planed so much hiking with the dogs but end up staying in the cottages as the secure fild next to it gave us enough room for the dogs to play and for us to have picnic and watch the sunset. The whole place is really private so you can truly relax but when we needed anything Eldrydd was always there to help. There are plenty of place to walk and also shops , waterfall, lakes are just a short drive away.
WOW what can i say if SYKES are handing out prizes BRYN TEG must be up there with 1 of the nicest cleanest idyllic cottages we have stayed in. This cottage was stunning peaceful and very clean. The space inside and out especially for our 2x dogs was brilliant plus the hot tub was an added bonus after some long walks in the hills. My only let down was the drive up the hill to the property if you have a low car this road is very poor but other than that not 1 complain and would highly recommend anybody looking for 1 very peaceful and stunning break this is the place to book
Hilary
Lovely cottage although there a few points that could be considered. 1 washing machine 2 toilet roll holder in bathroom 3 fan to work without putting light on. 4 hook on end of sink to hang towel on. 5 seat pads on kitchen chairs.
Hajnalka
5 stars dont cover this property. We had the most amazing 4 nights at Bryn Teg. The location of the bungalow is stunning, has breathtakingly beautiful views from every single window of the house. The house is very clean and has everything what needed, the beds are very comfortable! There is a game room with a table football and the sheeps on the hill were not bothered when I screamed because I was losing to my husband Hot tub is amazing, very modern, very comfortable! We would be back in a heartbeat, we are grateful to have a wonderful break! Owners Kevin and Eldrydd were really helpful if we needed any information and we are hoping that they will take us again.
Lizzie
The property is excellent, we had our daughter's family come with us and there was plenty of space. The field is a bonus, great for the grandson to kick his ball and run. The jacuzzi is set next to the sloping field giving you great views and is especially nice at night when you can gaze up to the stars. The owners cannot do enough for you, all they want is for you to enjoy your holiday. This is our 4th visit back in 2 years!
Beautiful bungalow with the most amazing views I honestly have ever seen from a home, well equipped with everything you could possibly want, it was snowing when we got there and the owner came round and gave us sledges for our children. Great hot tub and games room . A complete home from home .
Michelle
Wow. Absolutely loved this property. The views were absolutely amazing. We had planned so much to do but were so comfortable we never left the property. We spent a lot of time in the conservatory reading and just enjoying the peace and quiet. The bed was very comfortable which sometimes has been an issue with me due to back pain. The hot tub was the best we have ever used. We both loved this property so much we will definitely return.
Hannah
This is such a beautiful place and we loved every second of our stay. Its a home from home with added luxeries! Absolutely stunning views, amazing hot tub, games room, clean and spacious house with a conservatory that allows you to relax yet see fields and a mountain that is spectacular. Will be coming again in a heartbeat
Absolutely amazing place to stay! The cottage is stunning and the views of the mountains are out of this world. We really couldn't fault anything. My dog loved the field to run around and play on, it was perfect for him. Also the hot tub is top notch! On the last night we decided to get a take away, there's an Indian restaurant not too far down the road and the food was delicious. All in all a great place to stay! I didn't want to leave and will definitely be going back in the near future
Carina
Lovely bungalow set in the hills, very welcoming host, approachable and easy to contact if needed. All very clean and tidy with all needed essentials and a great lovely warm hot tub. Already booked again for next year, thanks xx
Christine
This was our second holiday at Bryn Teg. We really enjoyed our stay and found the property very comfortable. Having access to the field for the dogs is a massive bonus, they love the outdoor! We went to the local pub most evenings and felt very welcome. A great time away!
