Cottage was amazing had everything you need and we all felt incredibly comfortable whilst staying
Sharon
We were very happy upon arrival to the Barn. Lovely big bedrooms with every adult having their own ensuite facilities. The views and landscape are breathtaking. We had use of the hot tub which was one of the other main features why we booked. We had a few issues with appliances and left feedback. Showers, WiFi The tv could be updated. Our only bug bear was the families adjoining. Their property linked our property via one door to a communal games room. They had young children we could hear the noise constantly coming from the play area. I had to ask them politely to keep the noise down at night time as there is a bedroom next to it and we had a 3 year old. I had reminded them the next day as there is a was music blaring from the space and adults making just as much noise as the children. They said they had book this holiday home for the games room. I think they thought the games room was theirs alone and treated it like that. We didnt use it, not that we had chance too. Their adjoining door to the games room was alway open as an extension to their living quarters. We all enjoyed our time at the Barn. Just what we all need to kick back, chill and we did a bit of exploring. Thank you
Grzegorz
We really enjoyed our stay with you. We visited you for the second time. We will come again. If we can make a suggestion, there should be a roof over the jacuzzi because it often rains. Friends also complained about lumpy mattresses in the downstairs bedrooms. There was also no lighter to light the fireplace.
Jaleil
Nice location and property big enough for 8 adults and probably more. Out of the way so nice and quite, nice hot tub and garden. Inside bedrooms were nice size with en suite. All beds were unfortunately past their best, each member complained about their mattress which was really poor. En suite door locks were missing. main sofa area could do with a spruce up as you could feel the frame through it. Nice stay, location and property, a bit of TLC and would come back again.
Alison
Beautiful comfortable accomodation with everything we needed. Set in Beautiful surroundings. Would definitely book again.
Had an amazing weekend, accommodation was perfect especially for a big group of friends. Would definitely recommend
Fabulous family holiday spent in a lovely well designed property. Perfect for large families or groups. We have booked again for next year which is testament of how happy we all were with everything!
Lovely stay the only criticism is that the pictures don't do the property justice. Y Beudy was so much more than expected in person! The hottub definitely smelt clean, like chlorine had been added and maintained which was comforting because sometimes in places you can feel like it isn't always clean but this was.
We had a wonderful stay at The Dairy. The accommodation was excellent with everything we needed. The views, games room and hot tub were fabulous. We hope to return next year. Many thanks.
Came to shepherds hut last year and had an amazing time so some of us came to the dairy this year and yet again had the best time. Perfect getaway for my girlfriends 25th! Will be coming back next year too!
Grzegorz
Very nice location, lots of space. Comfortable rooms and nice bathrooms. We recommend!
Excellent weeks holiday, You could always find something thats not to your taste or is in the wrong place but I have to say that all in all this barn is fantastic, the only criticism was that we purposely booked the property as we were travelling with older parents in their 80s, the barn was great, all flat no stairs, even a seat for the shower but all the seating in the living area was too low, not a huge problem as we took a couple of tub chairs from the bedroom but then had to lift a small sofa out and put the chairs in, I spoke to the owner about this and he said that feedback was all good, can I say that this small problem did not have any impact on our holiday, the place is beautiful and we hope to return, thanks for having us and making our stay memorable.

The Dairy was one of the best stays our family has ever had. The house was more spacious then we expected and although their were other families, we felt plenty of privacy. The hot tub is great after a long day of adventuring and the sheep for neighbours was amazing. All the best equipment and a super clean house with a great host too. Id recommend everyone visit the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, Lake Vyrnwy and Lake Bala. If you can manage, Wed recommend to take the trip to Barmouth Beach and have The Mermaid fish and chips too.
Richard
Absolutely stunning location. All rooms clean and tidy. Plenty of space in the property and ample parking. Great for families with toddlers. Already thinkingplanning of a return stay booking all 3 of the barns as a big family visit.
Farhana
Great host. Great location beautiful views. Hot tub was great, lovely accommodation to high standard and well planned out. The games room was a bonus. Cannot recommend enough.!
Richard
Absolutely wonderful place! ! Loved it. Kids loved it. If only you could ensure there was going to be sunshine. Few minor things to consider getting some essentials in like sugar foil. also, getting some of those door guards for the pvc doors the strips that go down the length of the door to stop little fingers getting trapped! Wind blew and door shut trapping my sons finger! Nearly needed a hospital trip Anyways. Just a suggestion!
Fabulous property , great location for peace and quiet. Loved the Birdlife around the house. Would definitely stay here again.
Trevor
Lovely house, great setting and excellent host Huw. Thank you! There were one or two problems with the shower controls, but I know Huw will fix them quickly and turn the hot water down several degrees!. Other suggestions the instructions for turning on the TV are not really that useful it took us some time to achieve it by accident. What was disappointing was the shared games room which was occupied somewhat noisily 247 by the other sharers. We never got in there at all. Some sound proofing at the door would help one ignore it. I note at least one other similar comment most of us are not into sharing with strangers when on holiday. Overall a lovely place to stay and would most certainly recommend except for the shared features! ps Evening meals in the Railway in Penybontfawr were excellent as were the Fish and Chips from Eagles in Llanfyllin.
Lynnette
We just spent a wonderful week here and loved it. ..we will be returning. Great Hosts...so friendly and helpfull. There were 3 Generations of family from 62 years to 3 months....we all loved it.
Fantastic accommodation spacious open plan living area ideal for a family birthday gettogether and all bedrooms equally well sized to keep everyone happy. The owner went out of his way to make sure everything was 'just right' for us to enjoy our time in this beautiful setting thankyou very much!
Amazing property, all the facilities were perfect for our stay. Nice to get away for a few nights and glad we chose this beautiful place. Would definitely recommend and we are 100 coming back! The only thing I could say is that if you want to go out somewhere with walking distance you may struggle, but there is some lovely walls nearby. Thank you so much again.
Y Beudy was comfortable and cozy. My family of 8, we all had our own bedroom and our own bathroom. Lovely fluffy dressing gowns which we used after the hot tub which was gorgeous. It said provided tea towels but there was only one. The picture on Syke cottages of Y Beudy implied there was a games room for us, but when we went to use it, it is actually joined to another barn as well so the games room is between the two barns, but this is not stated, and the other party in the other barn commandeered it. But would definitely stay there again, the owner came to see us and welcomed us and asked if there was anything we needed which was a nice touch.
This is our 2nd visit to the Dairy, as before, its a beautiful property with wonderful scenery and very relaxing. Only a few niggles shower in downstairs room kept flooding, could do with some shade in the garden and also over hot tub, the ovens were not clean and a dirty tray was left from previous occupants. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend, thank you
Jaleil
The cottage was in a quite and very enjoyable location. The premises was as described although the pictures make it looks smaller. beautifully laid out and presented and provided all the space a group of 8 adults needed. The hot tub was a bonus. The only real gripes we had was the beds need to be upgraded as the matrasses weren't as comfortable as they should be and the bathrooms although elegantly done needed a shower curtain or better drainage as shower water would spread and leave an inch of water. Either that or place a big squeegee in each bathroom. Would still come back for a return visit.
Hitendra
The property is excellent since its got all ensuite room very clean well laid out I will definitely go again
What a great place for the family to sit back and relax. If you looking for somewhere to put your feet up then this is it. Huw was on hand if you needed anything. Great host5 stars. As for the facilities, The hot tub is great to use even when its cold outside, there is your own bbq as well while having bathrooms off each room gives you the privacy you want when needed especially if you are all jumping into the hot tub. Local towns are a 10min drive with bigger cities 30min away or so if you need them. Overall, just what we needed. Will be returning.
Hok Kay
We wanted to thank you for the wonderful week we spent at your cottage. In the house we found everything we needed and the view throughout is simply magnificent. We have the best time & also we loved the hot tub. Thanks again and we will definitely be back.
What a fabulous holiday cottage. The property was clean and tidy and the owners have paid attention to detail. The location was perfect with amazing views of the countryside. Lots of nice walks around the area and the location was great to visit the Pistyll Rhaeadr. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning!
We had such a wonderful stay. Amazing place in a stunning setting
We Enjoyed a wonderful family time, thank you very much for creating such an amazing place
Nicola
This house is beautiful in a beautiful setting the owner has equipped the cottages with high quality fittings and really thought about the customer experience. This cottage is ideal for group and families definitely will be returning.
Beautiful place, very clean and tidy, would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back. Amazing place
Caroline
The owner of the property was kind, approachable and so helpful. The house was clean, cosy and well equipt and a great base for exploring beautiful wales. Loved the hot tub, the pool table and the real fire but most of all the sheep and the stunning countryside views from the house with spectacular sunrises and sunsets. So peaceful and would love to return.
Wow! What an amazing property. Expensively equipped throughout with every possible itemutensil you need. Everywhere was spotless and spacious. Very safe for young children. The hot tub is a fantastic feature. Beautiful views. Set in a quiet, relaxing location. We spent a wonderful week at Y Beudy and will be returning ASAP.
Rohini
