This wooden cabin is situated amidst a complex of lodges, within lovely grounds of Rudyard, on the western edge of the Peak District. Perfect for friends or couples, Kipling Lodge is filled with charm both inside and out, even featuring its very own sheltered hot tub, where you can relax all-year-round.
Upon entering the property, kick off your shoes to take full advantage of the warmth from the underfloor heated wood-effect flooring throughout. The hallway leads to a fabulous open-plan living set up, consisting of a country cottage kitchen with oak units and marble effect counter tops.
There is a dining table that seats up to six people, ideal for a home-cooked meal together, adjacent to a lounge with two comfortable sofas and a TV. Large French windows lie ahead of the room, well-situated for an outlook over the peaceful enclosed garden, here you can enjoy the location from the comfort of the cottage.
The three bedrooms boast a characterful finish, each complete with ample storage. The master room features a contemporary en-suite, whilst the bunk room is suited for children or adults, and another shower room is available for guests.
Outside, why not make the most of the private garden and shared communal space? Decked areas are located to the front, rear and side, with a selection of furniture included, ideal for a sunny afternoon.
Rudyard Lake is one of the most romantic places in Britain; a family favourite for picnics, boating, walking and fishing, also home to the steam railway. Nearby Leek is an impressive town with pubs, restaurants and a series of antique shops.
Nearby the beautiful Manifold Valley leans through excellent scenery and is promising for both walkers and cyclists. A refreshing holiday destination.
