We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It’s beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more. Sitting by the fire in the evening was so cosyand the hot tub was a real treat. Watching house martins fly overhead and listening to owls at night was magical. The dark sky was stunningand we even saw bats. Honestly, it felt like a little slice of heaven. We’ll definitely be returning. Thanks to Jo and the team for making everything perfect!

We had a lovely long weekend at Plum Tree Cottage with our two-year-old cockapoo. The place is super well-equipped and the welcome hamper was a nice surprise-Prosecco, bread, eggs, bacon, milkand fresh veg. We had a really nice time at Plum Tree Cottage. From the moment we arrived, it felt cosy and welcoming. Jo’s organic breakfast was a lovely touch to start our dayand the Prosecco was a sweet surprise. The view from the conservatory is stunningand the peaceful dog walks made it even better since it’s so dog-friendly. It was our first trip with our pupand we honestly felt at home. We’d definitely love to come back sometime. Really enjoyed it!
Emma
Plum Tree Cottage is perfect for a family trip, especially with the lovely surroundings and horses right outside! The decor is charmingand we loved the peaceful vibe. That said, it could use a bit more attention to detail - we had to clean it ourselves when we arrived since it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Only one towel each was a bit tightand the heating wasn’t really working properly. We ended up leaving a day early because of a sewage smell in the bathroom, which was a shame. Still, lovely location!
Emma
We had an excellent stay! The location was simply stunning, perfect for relaxing walks around the private grounds and taking in the lovely scenery. The house was spacious and comfy, making us feel right at home. It’s so easy to reach, just off the M1, but still peaceful enough to enjoy some quiet time. Jo, the housekeeper, was super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. We’d definitely come back-highly recommend for couples or families!
Emma

James
We loved this cottage! The setting was perfect and super private, making it feel like our own little retreat. The kitchen had everything we neededand the bed was truly comfy. The hot tub was straightforward to useand relaxing by the fire with snacks was just what we needed. Our puppy adored the big garden, didn’t want to leave! There’s plenty to explore nearby, like Richmond and those waterfalls. Honestly, we couldn’t find a fault with it. Definitely recommend!

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area.
