Very nice bungalow situated in a tranquil location but close enough to the towns such as Richmond, Darlington and the East Cost. Excellent facilities including a lovely welcome pack (food, prosecco etc), towels, robes, logs for the fire and hot tub. Out family including you young children had a lovely week.
Karen
The accommation was in a lovely setting. The dog outside hot shower facility was fantasict. We didn't use the hot tub or the log burner, but the facility was there is required.
Lee
Fantastic cottage in a great location. Everything you need is supplied at the cottage and if you need anything Jo is always on hand to assist. The conservatory at the rear of the property is a great chill out area especially if the weather is not great. The hot tub is great once up to temperature, just fire it up a couple of hours before use and ke ep feeding with logs for a lovely 40 degrees soak. Lovely enclosed garden so your dog can chill and be safe. I cannot fault this cottage!
Samantha
Fabulous cottage in glorious surroundings made even better because it was in easy reach of the town. Richmond is a quaint and interesting town with some lovely independent shops that we enjoyed exploring. Only stayed for a weekend but the cottage catered to our every need, and we were so comfortable we didn't want to leave at the end of our visit. Had the weather been slightly warmer, we would have made more use of the beautiful outside space, too. Definitely recommend for a relaxing break.
Catherine
Beautiful clean and well appointed. Really enjoyed the conservatory for morning coffee. Estate was lovely to walk around - altogether a relaxing mini break. Great welcome basket, which started our break off in just the right way.
Michelle
Great cottage, lovely provisions provided. Well set out, just like home from home. Would definitely recommend.
Kat
Great long weekend stay at Plum Tree Cottage with our two year old cockapoo. The cottage is really well kitted out and there was a very generous welcome hamper with Prosecco, bread, eggs, bacon, milk, tomatoes and mushrooms. The cottage is really comfy and the farm location is perfect for a quiet weekend of walking and taking it easy.
Melanie
We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Plum Tree cottage from start to finish. Many thanks to Jo for the lovely organic food to get us started with a lovely breakfast on our first morning and the Prosecco was such a kind thought. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay especially taking in the wonderful view from the conservatory and the peaceful dog walks. This was our first holiday with pooch and got to say the cottage is so dog friendly. We would definitely like to go back!
Carole
Cottage was lovely and comfortable with everything provided that you could think of. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. Thank you for the welcome pack which was very generous and provided our lovely breakfast on our first morning.
Emma
We loved plum tree cottage! Beautiful location and cottage .Lovely welcome package for us on arrival. The cottage is very tastefully done out and is gorgeous inside and out . Great hot tub outside ! Lovely walks for our dog around the estate too. Jo the housekeeper met us on arrival and she was very welcoming and lovely and was always on hand if we needed anything such as extra wood for the fire , nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back ! Incredible place to relax !
Joanne
Beautiful setting and stunning views from all angles and if you like horses and wildlife, you are surrounded. The cottage has everything you need and is furnished with style and super attention to detail. The wood burning hot tub is delightful, and the people who work around this gorgeous estate are really friendly and very helpful. Jo is fabulous ,helpful and friendly and made some great suggestions of what to do and where to go for food. The fox hole in Piercebridge I can highly recommend.
Karl
Plum tree cottage and it's settings are great for a family getaway, the cottage it's self is tastefully decorated and our daughter enjoyed having the horses on the doorstep! However it was lacking some attention to detail; had to clean ourselves on arrival as it didn't appear to have a deep clean, more of a wipe down. Could have benefited from more than 1 set of towels and 1 tea towel. Heating didn't work properly. Ended up leaving a day early due to a sewage smell from the main bathroom
Brian
Could not fault anything at all. Location was truly amazing and we had a very comfortable week in the spacious property and grounds. Particularly enjoyed walking round the private estate taking in the beautiful scenery. Would definitely recommend this place for couples and families alike. The site is very easy to get to straight off the M1 but also quiet and peaceful. Jo the housekeeper was very helpful and friendly when we met on arrival. Would come here again anytime!
Paula
Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Hot tub was fab and easy to use ( just keep it stoked up on first heating) Lovely welcome pack with bubbles and organic produce. Jo was very helpful with everything. We had a lovely time, and would love to come again.
Samantha
A lovely well presented cottage. A great place to relax in comfort. Super views both front and rear. A friendly community. Gardens lovely with the front enclosed making it pet friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay.
Jason
Very nice property, it is semi-detached(next door to the Fernery) but it is very private and we had great friendly neighbours for the week which was a bonus. We had an enjoyable week at this cottage which has a lovely sheltered garden and views across the fields, the wood fired hot tub was a novelty which was fun to use though being wood fired you cant just decide you want to jump in it, you have to plan ahead(by many hours). Only downside was that it went to quick.
Jane
A great cottage - really comfy and very well equipped. Great location. Booking etc all very simple and a great welcome on arrival with the best organic breakfast!
Martin
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a lovely location and very private. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was extremely comfortable. Hot tub was easy to use and was lovely sitting by the fire having snacks. The puppy enjoyed every inch of the mature garden so much so it was hard to get him back in the car. Plenty to do round here Richmond one of the in cluding high and low force waterfalls. As a whole package we couldnt fault it.
sean
What a beautiful cottage and a fantastic warm welcome by Jo on our arrival. Jo made us feel comfortable straightaway, The cottage is privately situated with plenty of walks. Everything we needed for cooking etc was all supplied, The only downfall for us was the hot tub.. This hot tub requires alot of patience and as the temperature was 7 on arrival we knew it was going to take some time to get up to the recommended temp of 35. The logs supplied both for the hottub & log fire just isn't enough!
Anna
Absolutely perfect cottage we had a lovely time everything had been thought of Thank you
Duncan
Stunning cottage. We loved the cosy living room and wood burner. Great location, out of the way but not far from villages and towns for exploring during the day. Lovely welcome gift and friendly service. Would recommend.
Angela
A beautiful cottage with everything you need for a lovely break. The decor is exquisite and very comfortable. Jo (who manages the property) was fab and sent us information of local events that our kids would like).

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family.  The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower.  For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel.  Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too.  If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.
