If you feel like finishing your day off with a theatrical flourish, book a ticket for Kynren (22 miles), which takes you through 2,000 years of history in 90 minutes (performed July September). This one level lodge offers panoramic views of the lake and lush green landscape.
Frequent visits from resident and wild birdlife add to the enchanting scenery. Arrive at the lodge and ascend the steps to a large, decked veranda with a glass balustrade balcony.
