The Stork Reviews

Rob
We take a couple of UK cottage breaks a year and have always gone for high end properties but the Guillemot has redefined our idea of luxury! The owners really have thought of everything, perfect layout, exceptionally well equipped with the comfiest supper king bed I've ever slept in. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for our Goldie to relax anRead mored play in while we enjoyed the amazing views from the hot tub. With the nearby towns and beaches it's a perfect location - we'll be back! Hide

Excellent accommodation, warm and comfortable. In a good location within easy reach of lovely beaches and picturesque coastal villages. Our puppy enjoyed the freedom of the dog friendly garden and we would like to apologise for the hole he left you as a gift.

We had a lovely long weekend staying in The Stork lodge - the accommodation was first class and the generous welcome pack made it extra special: a bottle of prosecco, crisps, biscuits and even a pack of dog treats and poo bags for the dog - lovely touch! We were celebrating a milestone birthday in the family and it was just perfect for this special occasion. A real treat for us all. I would definitely return another time and will be recommending to family and friends.
Catherine
The lodge was simply perfect! Perfect size, perfect facilities, perfect view. It could not have been better!

Smoo Cave - IV27 4QB
about 25 Miles
Smoo Cave is a popular attraction which can be enjoyed all year round but visitors should wrap up warm during the winter months.  This spectacular limestone sea-cave in Sutherland is the largest in Britain and is simply spectacular. The cave was formed by a burn that runs down into the rear chamber, as well as erosion caused by the sea. Guests can take the path from the car park which runs right through the cave. Boat trips are available in the summer months and are an excellent way to fully appreciate the cave from all angles.
