Our third time in this lovely home and never fails to disappoint Will be booking again for next year
Another lovely stay in this comfortable home from home that has everything you need for a relaxing break.
Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful house. The house was perfect for a relaxing week away. The thoughtful welcome hamper was a lovely touch. You were always on hand if we needer anything. We loved it and didn't want to leave. Thank you we would give it 1010 and would love to come back.
The property smelt awful when we first walked in. We opened the doors which helped. We were shocked that the sofas were so badly stained and marked as were the chairs by the dining area. There was obviously a lot of other peoples dogs hair on the sofa to put your feet on as we found out when our clothes were covered in hair, not our dogs as she isnt allowed on furniture! We used throws on sofa after that. The above was a shame as the rest of the property was fine, a good clean of the furniture is needed , probably needs replacing.
Just come home from Pepperpots and had a wonderful week in such a beautiful home. The location is amazing with fabulous views of the sea and close to the village of Mawgan Porth that had a wealth of options for buying local produce or dining at the restaurants to sample the local cuisine. The standard of the house is superb with everything considered to make your holiday an absolute joy.
Stephanie
Second year staying at Pepperpots re booked while still there last year as the house with all its facilities and views are fantastic, would of loved to have done the same again for next year however and this is not a reflection on the owners who provide an excellent house and fantastic house keepers however we would of expected some kind of price increase for 2025 as we did from 2023 to 2024 but the price this year was 2,297 price for 2025 is 4,700 unfortunately even with all the great things the house and area have to offer more than doubling the price seems unjustified such a shame as would of happily returned even with a 20 price increase.
Pepperpots. ..... beautiful house that made our weeks stay feel like home as this was a surprise treat for my husband's 70th birthday. The owners had thought of everything in comfort and essentials, inside and out. It was beautifully presented everywhere. We got a lovely surprise on arrival of scones, cream and jam in the fridge, chocolate bar, cornish biscuits, and a pack of ground coffee, along with hot chocolate sachets, coffee, tea and sugar to get us started. They even left a travel suncream kit, too. The hot tub was ace with all 8 of us enjoying it every day only 6 at a time and a box of 8 towels, especially for hot tub use. Fab views from our bedroom with a balcony and rattan seating. Another bedroom was perfect with hair driers provided plus two twin bedrooms. We all found our beds to be very comfy and each bedroom had plenty of storage. Same with the bathroom and downstairs shower room. The utility room had a washer and a drier and an extra toilet, thank goodness, when you've got three teenage girls!! There was ample parking for 2 big cars which we had at the front with 2 extra spaces at the back of the house. Hopefully we left the house as we found it with everything in place and tidy, just as we always do in appreciation wherever we stay. All in all we had a fabulous family holiday in Pepperpots and would definitely recommend it if you're thinking of holidaying in Mawgan Porth, Newquay

It was awesome stay for three nights! Accommodation, facilities was 1010. We would love to come back again and definitely recommend my friends and family.
Nicole
We had a lovely stay , the house has everything you need , set in a beautiful location , there was 8 of us and a dog and we didnt feel crowded or under each others feet at all , the kids had there on room to watch tv and play . The hot tub is a massive bonus and lovely after a long day We will definitely be booking again Mannions and browns July 2024
Catherine
A beautifully styled, comfortable, clean and wellequipped house. It is a short walk downhill on footpaths to the beach and coastal path. The hot tub was toasty and the outside warm shower was great for washing off sandy dogs and feet. The garden is wellenclosed and shelteredlovely sea views too and a peaceful location.
Elaine
A beautiful property, immaculately clean and very well equipped for our one week stay. The welcome back was very thoughtful and the hot tub a complete joy particularly when returning from some very long strenuous walks with the dog across the cliffs! Views from the property were stunning and location perfect. I would highly recommend both this property and the management group maintaining it to anyone who wants a delightful stay in this beautiful part of Cornwall. We will definitely be booking again.
Everything about the property was perfect, we couldnt have asked for anything more. The welcome pack was a lovely extra to walk into on our first day. The views are stunning from the property and its only a short walk to the beach. We cant wait to book again for next year
We had the most fabulous time! The property had all the bells and whistles, everything we needed for our stay. It was so beautifully furnished, we really felt the luxury! We found we were rushing ourselves back from our day trips to enjoy the outdoor areas especially the hot tub whilst enjoying the view spectacular at sunset. Lovely hosts who answered all my questions before the stay and left us to enjoy ourselves during our stay. I couldnt recommend Pepperpots any more. We went as 3 couples and each of us said we would definitely come again and stay at Pepperpots!
Just the most perfect and beautiful holiday home. Faultless!!
We had the perfect stay, and could not fault anything
Rebecca
Such a wonder stay in a beautiful home. Amazing surroundings , it was everything we could have asked for! Thank you
Rebecca
Beautiful house, very comfortable with everything we could need. Great spot for Mawgan Porth and stunning views.
We had a lovely stay at pepperpots! The owners had simply thought of everything, our whole party had an amazing time. The space was very open & light. Beds were very comfortable & clean. Would 1000 stay again we also visited the spa infront of the property & that was well worth the money as well! Thank you for having us
Stephanie
Wow this was our first visit to Cornwall and we were lucky enough to have spent it at Pepperpots, nothing has been over looked at this holiday home, the house was ideal for our family giving space when needed but also great to spend time together in the large diningliving area or in the garden and hot tub, everything you need is in this property, as for location it couldnt be better ideal for trips out such as lusty glaze where we had a great time jet skiing or the Edan project only 30 minutes away, if not wanting to travel you dont need to Mawgan Porth beach is such a lovely place and only 10 minutes away or if you are like us with a lazy bulldog you can park at Bettys all day and spend the day relaxing watching the tides and stunning views, Claire the house keeper was fantastic and gave good advise on places to go for days out or to eat and Watson our cumbersome bulldog loved her, we had such a fantastic time we booked again for next year before we left and are already planning new things to do, Thankyou for making this property available for others to enjoy.
Natalie
We had the most wonderful time in the most perfect property. The little touches such as the welcome basket, fresh scones and bread as well as fresh milk waiting in the fridge so we could have a cuppa after our long journey were so warmly welcomed. The house was immaculate and so well presented. The owner and the housekeeper are responsive and supportive when needed. We couldnt rate this property higher! We loved it so much we booked again for 2024 before this years holiday was even over!
Wonderful house well appointed loads of space for the 6 adults in our party. Weather was challenging at times but still managed to enjoy the outside space and local beach. Loved the upper terrace watching the sun set. The hot tub was super clean and of a consistently good temperature.
We had a brilliant stay at Pepperpots the house was lovely and equipped with all we needed for a brilliant holiday. X
Ysanne
Perfect property for our family holiday with children and our dog. The layout worked really well for family time together eating & drinks with the gorgeous sea view from the upstairs terrace. Also 2 lounge rooms worked well for us too. All the family enjoyed the hot tub after walks & time on the beach. Small shops, beach & pub a short walk away. Welcome pack was amazing, full of delicious Cornish treats. Will definitely stay at Pepperpots again and I would certainly recommend a stay there.
Victoria
A beautiful holiday home in a stunning location. Upon arrival the house was clean and fresh and the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. The dogs made themselves at home in the secure garden very quickly. We had never been to Cornwall before and staying at Pepperpots made it a wonderful experience. Mawgan Porth is a lovely little place and is so quiet. We were surprised at how dog friendly everywhere is and it made our visit much more enjoyable. Being able to walk to the beach in less than 15 minutes was a lovely treat for us and the dogs loved the freedom on the beach. Pepperpots is a lovely holiday stay and we can't wait to return again next year.
Alison
I booked Pepperpots as it looked fresh, modern, had everything I was looking for and it didnt disappoint on any level. Nicely placed for sight seeing and fabulous coastal walks with our dog. Short of nothing and very clean, quality fittings and bedding all added to a wonderful stay. Thank you
Samantha
Lovely holiday home, welcome basket was amazing and a lovely touch I like the ... Lovely holiday home, welcome basket was amazing and a lovely touch I like the idea of buying from the local businesses It had all little touches we would definitely stay again
Jillian
We had a lovely stay and everything we needed was provided. The property was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Our bed was very comfortable Upstairs with balcony, there was plenty of hanging space and the view out to sea and sunsets were spectacular. Two large TV's was great and prevented 'remote wars' and the Hot Tub was a wonderful aid to relaxing. The only bad news is the composite decking at Pepperpots was so nice that we now need to replace our own wooden decking at home with similar! In summary, we felt 'spoilt' in every way possible! 1010
Beautiful property, lovely and spacious and had more than everything we needed. Amazing thoughtful gift basket and bath goodies. Would definitely come back.
We had a lovely week at Pepperpots with our family and the dogs. Enjoyed the hot tub and being so close to the beach. There was plenty of space and the house was well stocked with equipment and everywhere was spotless. There was an amazing welcome package when we arrived. We will definitely book again.
We had a fantastic week at this beautiful property, despite the weather! It is extremely comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was a big bonus, which even in November was enjoyed by us all. The extra TV room was also a plus point. We wouldn't hesitate to return, Mawgan Porth is a lovely village.
We had a fantastic week staying at Pepperpots in October with our friends. The house is beautiful, very well decorated with all of the mod cons you need. There are beautiful views of the ocean from the outsize seated balcony area, and a lovely hot tub to relax in at the end of a long day. All the bedrooms in the house are a lovely size, and the added addition of a snug is great when you have teenagers or need to work. I would very happily visit Mawgan Porth and stay at Pepperpots again.
We stayed at pepper pots for a week from the 24th September 2022. What can I say. This is the most beautiful property in both accommodation and location. The house itself is tastefully decorated with all the mod cons available to use. The space is quite incredible with four generous bedrooms with the master room having a large balcony with amazing sea views. I have severe mobility issues but this was not as issue as there are two bedrooms downstairs with excellent bathroom facilities. There is a fantastic hot tub to the front which gives amazing sea views. The entire property to the front has views of the north Cornish coast which are breathtaking. The owners provide a fantastic welcome pack and we were extremely impressed with the amount of care that had been taken to include all of those little things which enhance the experience of your stay. With that in mind I have no hesitation in recommending this property. It is, without doubt, one of those places you would happily revisit and one of those places you would never get tired of that view.
Thank you so much for providing such a fantastic home for our first family holiday with our little granddaughter. The beautiful furnishings , newly fitted kitchen and really comfy beds were just perfect and the Hot Tub was such a treat, the sun shone all week and we all had a truly memorable time.
We booked for 6 people but the property easily holds 8. Two doubles and two twins. Excellent location and views. High quality spec inside and out. We had a some bad weather, so the layout, lounge area and hot tub, really helped to make sure we all had a great holiday.
Samantha
It was perfect! A fabulous house in a beautiful location. The property was immaculate, well equipped and extremely spacious. The layout and size was ideal for us as 2 families of 4 with teenagers. We really didn't want to leave! Would highly recommend.
Michelle
We had a brilliant week at this absolute gem of a property. It felt more spacious than the images showed and comfortably accommodated our two families 4 adults and 4 older teens, plus a dog. We were able to cook easily in a well thought out kitchen and particularly loved how spotlessly clean the whole house was. The location really worked too, a short walk down to the lovely the beach and a fantastically well stocked shop in Mawgan Porth, with local produce. Plus a really good local restaurant, Catch. Wed highly recommend both their brunches and evening meals, especially their oysters! Evenings were also great, with hot tub and views of the sunset, we would happily book again!
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Pepperpots. I booked it because it had bedrooms downstairs which helped immensely when taking my father in law away due to his lack of mobility. It was very spacious which helped with a teenager and toddler too. The house was spotlessly clean, beautiful and of a high standard. Everything was clearly set out for us and useful information on the area was provided too which was appreciated. The showers were amazing with great water pressure! The garden beautiful and location was perfect just a short walk or drive to anything we needed. It had everything we needed and made for a lovely week away. We will definitely book to stay here again.
We had a brilliant holiday at PepperPots. Everything was perfect just sorry we couldn't stop longer. The house was beautifully laid out. Perfect. The views were to die for. We did have 1 problem with a chair on the patio. But I rang Claire to report it. We actually met Claire the next day when we were leaving. Lovely lady. We left the house as clean as it was when we arrived. A huge THANK YOU and we will be back. We couldn't fault anything
Sherry
