We have amazing time staying at Stargazy cottage celebrating 2026 New Year. The cottage was well decorated with lights and Christmas tree. The cottage well equipped with everything need. Kids really enjoyed hot tub. Beeches and lovely places to visit 710 minutes by car. We are highly recommend to everyone who is looking for quiet and beautiful place to spend good time.

We had a wonderful stay at Stargazy Cottage near Praa Sands. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, from wellequipped kitchen facilities to cosy furnishings. The location is fantastic just a short drive to Praa Sands beach and other local attractions yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Cornish getaway.

Stargazy cottage has been an absolute dream. The space was immaculate, with everything you would need. The garden was the true feature, laying on the sunbeds with the scent of the honeysuckle in the air. We were lucky enough to have some blue tits nesting in the bird box. We spent hours watching the mum and dad race in and out feeding them. The snug at the front of the house was a lovely relaxing space with so much history. The nearby Praa sands beach & the rooftop terrace at the Welloe bar where you could sit looking out to sea was just perfect. Porthleven a must visit only 20 mins away. We will definitely consider a return visit, we didnt want to leave.

We absolutely loved this cottage. The property had been refurbished and extended beautifully and everything was to a very high standard including the garden. It suited our needs perfectly and we would love to return for another stay in the future. The provision of the cot and stair gates was much appreciated as were the local food treats that were waiting for us on our arrival. Excellent cottage overall. Very well equipped in kitchen plenty of pots pans and crockery. Some of the pans need replacing though. The weather while we were there was quite cold and the underfloor heating was minimal and unless we lit a fire in the wood burner near kitchen it was very cold. The TV sound in living room area was very distorted so made watching difficult. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. We cannot comment on the outside facilities as we did not use them or hot tub. A guest book for comments and sharing experiences would be a useful addition.

Totally fabulous! The best cottage we have ever stayed at. Everything you could wish for and more. Six of stayed for a week from 5yrs old to 77yrs old and it was brilliant. So clean and warm, fantastic garden and hot tub!

The property was so comfortable and well equipped. The hot tub was an added bonus and we really enjoyed that. What a fantastic place, i had to cut holiday short unfortunately due to family comittments at home but the couple of days i had there were great. Everything you needed was there, very thoughtful.. Cosy cottage, great high standard facilities , spotlessly clean, ourdoor space very welcoming. You do need a car but it it close enough to St Ives, Helston etc. Some nice coves and beaches within a half hour or less. Will definately book again at earliest opportinity

Such a beautiful holiday home. We all loved it. Everything there you needed. We just needed the sunshine a little more! Would defiantly recommend to anyone. Just to mention the flooring was slippy for our 2 year old grandson but he runs absolutely everywhere!!

Details that are crucial for customers confidence in booking is missing from the listing and attempts to get it via the WhatsApp chat with Sykes was completely fruitless. When listing EV chargers, its vital that the connector type, if need own cable and if there are any charges. The property itself was as described, beautifully appointed and provided a wonderful base for exploring Cornwalls lower extremities. It was well equipped for self catering. Had ample space for 6 people. The hot tub and outside space was great after a day of exploring. The parking space is a little tight and interesting when reversing out as its on a corner and whilst its a very quiet road, it seems at its busiest when trying to leave. The addition of a free to use courtesy of the solar panels type 2 Zappi EV charger, makes this a great cottage for those travellers who want to be eco conscious.

Fabulous cottage, great location

Wow what a beautiful and well equipped cottage. The owners have thought of everything. Very well appointed, loved all the paintings and little touches, my grandson particularly loved the fishes in the downstairs toilet. Shame about the weather though. Close to many beaches and well positioned to tour southern Cornwall., Great fish and chip shop nearby. Hope to return again one day.

This is an absolutely stunning holiday cottage in a lovely location. There really is very little to criticise, and so many great things about this cottage. It is extremely clean, well equipped and beautifully presented. The owners have sympathetically renovated the cottage, and it is one of the best places weve ever stayed. The location is a small village just north of Praa Sands. It is a great location to cycle from, as well as to base yourself for a surfing holiday . Early on in our stay, we had some very heavy rain, and mud washed over the front of the property from up the lane. The owners became aware of this due to their CCTV, and rapidly responded within an hour! and cleared the front area themselves. They are absolutely delightful, and extremely helpful if you encounter any problems. My only concern, is that if we overegg this review, it may become so popular that we cant ever book in again! An amazing location and an amazing cottage!

Absolutely beautiful cottage, and a fantastic stay. The attention to detail is second to none from the selection of toys lefts for our little one, to the socket covers, everything had been thought of. We would recommend this property in a flash, and look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful cottage. Exactly as advertised. We had a lovely stay. Everything you could wantneed all provided. Cottage is tastefully decorated, comfortable and welcoming. Delicious scones, jam and cream provided on arrival plus a couple of other necessities which were appreciated. Stargazy is in a great location, really handy for Perranuthnoe lovely food at the CabinTipsy Crab and Peppercorn cafe, Penzance, Marazion and St Ives. Brilliant beaches at Perranuthnoe and Porthminister. We really did have a magical trip to Cornwall and Stargazy was a key part of why it all worked so well. Provision of some small fans for the bedrooms it was really hot at night is the only thing I can think of which would have added to our stay. Last mention should be of the hot rib which we used every night under clear dark skies magical.

Where to start! What a wonderful cottage, it is stunning, everything has been thought about, there is nothing they dont have. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. All excellent quality appliances, including a washing machine which is a godsend when there are a few of you. All the ensuites are fabulous and the decor throughout the cottage is of a very high quality. Everything was fantastic! The only downside is that the small double bed in the Stargazy room is indeed small, it does say this in the listing but I dont think we realised how small it would be. But seriously other than that this cottage is perfect. We have already recommended it to a number of friends.
